Anybody think they should stick Wade Barrett in the game?

Anybody think they should stick Wade Barrett in the game? Yeah, everyone does. The reality of it happening though? Totally different situation.

Well IMO, NXT debuted in time for everyone to be apart of the game. But were they planned to be as big as they are now? Probably not. And were they willing to give up 8 game spots for them? Again, probably not.
Did anyone else notice though, that Basic (preset) Face #2 or #3 In 2010, looks just like Wade Barrett?

I think they should have all the Nexus in it, there's no reason why they shouldn't.
At least make them DLC.

The first season started late February, so it does seem likely. Based off of that logic we should have had Tyson Kidd in 2010--he debuted in February of 09, but was left out of 2010. Both Paul and Katie Lea Burchill were moved to ECW in December of 08 and neither of them made 2010. Don't get me wrong, I want the NXT guys in as much as everyone else, but it just seems highly unlikely and I wouldn't get my hopes up. If it turns out that they are, then that's great and I'm sure many people will be happily surprised, but to start thinking they're guaranteed to be in, just for it to turn out that they don't make it, will only lead to unnecessary disappointment. I don't know anymore about who's going to make the roster than anyone else, but what I'm basically trying to say is based off of past experience, I wouldn't put that much faith into THQ/Yukes when it comes to having the most up-to-date roster possible for the game.

I honestly would rather not have the NXT guys. I would rather the roster spots be used for people who are no longer on the roster like Mike Knox, Shelton, Carlito (who are likely in anyway), Helms, and Divas like Serena, Alicia Fox, Jillian (who only made it in that one year and always gets slighted), Layla, and even WWE Legends. I don't really want roster spots wasted on them. It would be like having Eric Escobar in the game 8 times, only Escobar (who I abhor like no other) was actually better than most of those f#cks. The only NXT guy that I like even a little bit is Justin Gabriel (The only reason that sucka Wade Barrett and his shoulder drop of death won was because they needed a heel to lead the coalition), but he still doesn't deserve to be in the game yet. Maybe next year (though most of them will probably be fired, and rightfully so).

Otherwise that would have required WWE having full knowledge of their plan to keep all eight NXT rookies around past the end of the first NXT season and them being willing to divulge that plan to THQ/Yuke's.

That's true. I just hope they'll have the NXT arena so I can create my own NXT rookies.

I dont see the NXT'ers getting into it simply because they were starting at the bottom of WWE at the point THQ were probably finalising their roster. However i wouldnt be surprised to see Barrett (because he won) and Danielson (because they knew they were going to keep/push him) sneak into the game.

He won the competition on June 1st, long after the roster was finished. Right now it's possible that he has a a character model but it's probably just a work in progress as they are expecting to release DLC again since THQ/Yukes got that contract extension with WWE. Hell, why would you want him in the game that soon when he still doesn't have his own theme.

Well WWE plans things so it could have been possible that they might have said to THQ to try and get those two in however a chance of any of them getting in is a real stretch. Im not expecting any to be in just if any are, those two would be the likely candidates.
I have a feeling we'll just see the NXT arena and perhaps an NXT RTWM or maybe there will be an 'NXT Mode' to replace Career Mode where you start as a rookie and build your way up. Now that would be a cool alternative to career mode. Although we did have a somewhat rookie RTWM last year.

One thing that I will love about SVR 11 is having Sheamus and Hart Dynasty in it. Wouldn't be to surprised to see Bret Hart get the legends treatment either.

Sure hope he's in ring attire and no, not what he wore at this year's WrestleMania unless that could be an alternate. Speaking of attires, it'll be interesting to see if anyone other than Kane has gear from 2010 since all of the attires we've seen so far are based on late 2009.

I loved what they did with the Legends in 2010--Rhodes, DiBiase, and Orton at least. They actually fit in with the rest of the roster. I don't want Bret Hart from when he was in his prime in a game based off of today's WWE product. I know I go on about this every year so I'll try and end it with that. It all comes down to personal preference between us all, and what I'd prefer is to see the Bret Hart that has earned his spot in the game by doing what he's done lately, and not Bret Hart how some wish he still was.

How about WM Bret set as default and also an unlockable alternate of him in his prime? The stats don't have to change since Legacy's fathers were already rated pretty high last year. Sound good?
