Although not accurate the WCW arena is awesome. I would love some more old school arenas but I am not getting my hopes up. Has it been said how far into the year they plan on supporting the game with DLC or is the 3rd pack the last one.

I thought it was, but considering how long we will have till the next game, we might get another pack?

I presume this is the last one. Nothing more has been announced or even rumoured.

Sucks if that is it for DLC I have always felt THQ/Yukes have ed themselves over when it comes to DLC. I know people on here will defend them no mater what they put out but they are just so damn lazy. I mean it can not be that hard during development to say make a old school NWA WWF WCCW or AWA arena. Then you could put one on per week and charge like 200 points or whatever and people would still buy it.

Until they say anything else, this will be the last pack. I think Bryan Williams said that there would be a possibility for more based on how well the DLC sales were. But still, with All Stars out in a few months and them already well into 2012, I think it's safe to say this'll be the last of it.

Thinking, maybe what they could do is create DLC whilst making the game, thereby having more stuff to put out, and saving time and effort, atleast this would work for Arena's

I remeber reading an interview with one of the makers of the game and he said he would love to do one more dlc pack with daniel bryan in it. considering there isn't too many big names to add in next year other then bryan and alberto I'm sure it won't happen.

Not only would that be taking away from the time that they could be using to make 2012 better/more up to date, but also then what possible reason would there be for all of that extra content to not already be in the game if it was already made long before it was out?

For the money, thats the way companys work ain't it, but I do see your point, but then again, say they made 3 extra arena's that wouldn't be complete before the release, but near, kinda like Masters/Rey Attire/Kelly Attire was this year

Facebook ad for THQ & SvR2011 reads as follows:
"New outfits for John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, and the Undertaker. Take WWE Superstars and Diva's in to the WCW Nitro Arena for the first time ever when you purchase WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011's third downloadable pack coming January 25th to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.”

That's sooner than I expected, which is never a bad thing.

I was expecting mid-March/April time to be honest. Awesome news that it's only three weeks away.

I just hope this DLC doesn't delete all of our superstar threads, move set changes, and rosters. Because I do NOT want to have to do that all over for a THIRD TIME. That might push me to just stop playing, because I FINALLY have all my move sets back to what I feel makes the matches realistic and fun.
Superstar threads is kinda whatever because the graphics are so good this year that changing color in superstar threads makes it look more obviously edited than last years...so if I lose my superstar threads then I don't really care, but I can't redo all those move sets again.

I meant it'd be bad as far as DLC goes for us. Tons of companies, unfortunately, do that kind of stuff these days though. I remember one of the last Madden games I got where you had to like pay for unlockable options. It was ridiculous. Facebook ad for THQ & SvR2011 reads as follows: "New outfits for John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, and the Undertaker. Take WWE Superstars and Diva's in to the WCW Nitro Arena for the first time ever when you purchase WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011's third downloadable pack coming January 25th to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.”Just read that over at CAWs.ws this morning. If it is true--which I wouldn't doubt at all, especially with WWE.com posting the gallery for it and Bret Hart's pre-order exclusivity expiring that day--then that's great. Definitely a lot earlier than I was expecting. Funny though, how the second pack was released on the last day of my last semester and now the third pack will be released the first Tuesday I'm back for the next. I can't wait to use masked Punk.

I think Smackdown games would benefit from a two year development cycle to be honest. That way they can focus on making consistent DLC for one game for about a year and towards the middle or end begin developing the next game and continue like that... in my opinion anyways...
PS if anyone wants to play me I have the game for Xbox and PS3 so feel free to add me

Hell, 2011 is already outdated and it's only been a little over two months since it's release.

This better not my game up again, I just now got done remaking all my stables and threads Try turning auto save off before you download the DLC next time. I read that that might prevent it. I feel extremely fortunate that nothing like that happened to me. I would've been straight up pissed if I had to go through and edit everyone's movesets again.
