I wonder what is next for big Roy? Perhaps Kongo? CroCop, if they decide to not put him against Rothwell? Rothwell rematch? Mir? Can't wait to see who he is paired with next.
Main event time! Really hope Gomi pulls this one out.

Great job by Florian, but the win is kind of an underwhelming outcome for me. Not because he didn't do a good job, since he did. Just because it's hard to get excited watching KenFlo knock off a new challenger, knowing how poorly he's done when actually challenging for the title himself. I'll always love Florians work, but he's probably the worst kind of fighter they can have in their LW division right now. A person good enough to beat virtually anyone he's paired against, but not quite up to par with their current dominant champion.
Great night of fights though. All the winners on the main card did a great job, and it's interesting to see who they each get paired against next.

so what was the cause for the black out? and did Strove and Nelson just sort of wonder around in the darkness while it got fixed? I seen Nelson was out of the cage when they were coming back

Man I love Kenny, what alot of great fights. I hate to see Nelson win though, but damn that was a sweet KO, droped him right on his ass.
EDIT: Scratch what I said about Nelson, I watched some more of his fights and he is kinda growing on me.

I called the Gomi/Florian fight PERFECTLY on UFC Fantasy. ....The rest of my picks weren't that good. Came in 194 out of the over 12,000 that played this time. I still stand by what I said. While this is cool, I predict he will go 1-3 in the UFC and be cut. (from the "Gomi signs with UFC" thread.) |
