TNA president Dixie Carter posted an indirect statement on her Twitter page regarding the TNA ratings collapse.
"Thank goodness he can only retire once...hopefully," Carter wrote. "Shawn (Michaels), congrats on an amazing career."

What do you think about that?

hopefully this move to 8-10 helps, I know it's only this 1 time but if it's a big change they may do it permanantly

So her excuse is one night HBK retired so it was a reason for low ratings? So what about the declining in ratings in the past month? Wrestlemania? Look I watch both shows and to be honest TNA needs to stop thinking about competing with a company and work on themselves to be a better product so they can reach out and gather more fans.... Build from the ground up. No newborn baby starts to run. TNA just started taking steps and DIXIE and HOGAN wants it to run a marathon.

I'd blame it on trying to compete around Wrestlemania time.

Jokes aside, this is going to be interesting to see where they go from here. There is no more real excuses left, since Mania is over. If they somehow decline (doubt it) next week, or barely move up, I would hope we get legit answers, instead of excuses.

This is usually when WWE starts to get a little boring and predictable so maybe TNA will capitalize on the opportunity to have a better show.

Instead of blaming it on HBK's retirement, why doesn't she look at her crappy product instead? It's kind of funny considering last year at this time I was hating the WWE and all for TNA. Now this year the roles have reversed, get rid of Hogan or make better booking decisons!

Yes dixie....unlike a certain someone else that was goated back into wrestling that you currently have under contract, im pretty sure HBK plans to stay retired and not wrestling when he is pushing 70

I'm a big TNA fan, but WWE's ratings weren't up that much....I think fans are just getting tired of their product.
