I'd blame it on trying to compete around Wrestlemania time. This.

I agree. His career was cut short but injury and then he got in good enought shape to come back. Flair says I will never wrestle again and then like a lying bastard goes over to the other company.. Totally different!

You do realize that Flair has said he never wanted to retire but was pressured into it right? Not much of a difference to me. They both retired unwillingly only to come back.

Then he should have left WWE a year ago instead of "pretending" to retire and lying about retiring. He also should have returned the Rolex that HBK gave him since it was given from the heart. The sentiment is gone now.

This is wrestling, Shawn can retire at least another five times.

Or we can just wait 7 years and pretend like he never retired in the first place.

I personally just wish they would go back to Thursdays .4 hours of wrestling on mondays is a little too much . I love both shows but i dont think they will ever be able to compete with WWE .

You do realize that Flair has said he never wanted to retire but was pressured into it right? Not much of a difference to me. They both retired unwillingly only to come back. At this age, what can Flair really do for wrestling? Nothing because he would need guys to really carry him in a match. Going over Flair at this age wouldn't do anything amazing for your career, because the guy is 61 years old! Is it harsh? Yes, but it's the truth. Shawn 'retired' from the ring at I think age 32. Oh yeah, no difference right? Then coming back and proving to the world he is still the best and can WOW you like never before. There is a huge difference: One guy retired after having his best match in years at WrestleMania (age 60) and the other left due to a back injury when he was still putting on great matches (age 32). Flair needs to accept that he isn't relevant anymore.
