WWE Friday Night SmackDown l June 18th, 2010 l Raleigh, NC
-A promo hypes the Edge/Morrison main event last week. Followed by Jack Swagger attacking them both and taunting to end the show.
-The pyrotechnics blast out and Jim Ross and Matt Striker welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown. They hype tonight's main event. Which is World Heavyweight Champion Edge and John Morrison teaming up to take on new formed rivals, John Cena and Jack Swagger.
-John Cena comes to the ring to kick off SmackDown. Cena says that last week, he was betrayed. Cena says he's not a big fan of revenge unless it's a major problem. But he will debate on whether to return the favor of pain to Swagger. Cena says and like Swagger's Money in the Bank contract, it can be tonight, this Sunday, or next year. Same thing with Cena's revenge due to Swagger. Edge comes to the ring. Edge says that Cena has better things to worry about. Like possibly being speared one-hundred times until his ribs collapse. Cena says that's the risk he'll take if he needs to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge says that he may not make it to Fatal Four Way. Because if there's one person that needs a spear it's him. Cena says that Edge can go spear some dirt because his chances of retaining the World Heavyweight Title, aren't even 25%. Cena claims he's good, he takes over 95% of the vote. Edge says enough and gives Cena a spear. Edge gets the mic and yells "or maybe a 0% chance for you Cena!" Edge raises the World Heavyweight Championship high to end the segment.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
-Backstage, we see John Cena angry. Swagger laughs at him from the corner. Swagger claims Cena just got demolished. Cena says that it could be the perfect time to take revenge. Swagger gets in his face and Cena attacks Swagger. Some of SmackDown's roster breaks up the brawl. The commentators feed back on this.
-The Dudebusters defeated. R-Truth and JTG 6:01 Decent way to get us on the road here tonight with two days until the Fatal Four Way PPV. Croft and Truth had a decent battle here tonight. Eventually, they picked apart JTG. JTG made a tag to Truth and he hit a springboard double clothesline. Truth was set for the Lie Detector but Barreta hit him in the back. Truth knocked him off the ropes. Croft put Truth's arm behind his back and hit a throwing back suplex for the three count.
-The Dudebusters celebrate their win. They could be in contention tonight depending on winning some more matches.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
-While on commercial, a video shows what happened this past week on NXT. It also shows the McGillicutty/Harris and Kingston/Rhodes situation.
-Backstage, we see Chris Jericho who is behind Kofi Kingston. Jericho tells him that it's very important to win here tonight because that's all the momentum he'll be getting before losing this Sunday to him. Kofi says maybe he'll beat Miz tonight and then go on to beat him this Sunday and take all the momentum. Jericho says that won't be in a million years because he is the best and nothing will ever stand in his way.
-M.V.P defeated. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre 7:55 (Non Title) M.V.P got a huge victory to capture some major momentum. McIntyre really needed it as his chances to retain at Fatal Four Way in 48 hours are not good at all. M.V.P was on his usual roll before McIntyre captured momentum breaking off the big boot with a boot of his own. M.V.P rallied back with a Player's Boot in the end though to take the hard-fought win.
-M.V.P celebrates his win with the crowd. He has lots of momentum heading into WWE Fatal Four Way.
-A graphic hypes tonight's main event. Cena and Swagger take on Edge and Morrison in a Fatal Four Way preview here tonight.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
-A promo hypes the return of "King of Kings" Triple H.
-We come back and see Ross and Striker hyping how exciting they will be to see Triple H back. But if your loyal to SmackDown, you're in for some exciting stuff yourself.
-Kofi Kingston defeated. The Miz 8:39 Awesome matchup here to kick-off our second hour. Kofi Kingston was booming on his huge flurry. Eventually, Kofi tried to hit a Trouble in Paradise but Miz grabbed his foot and locked him in a heel hook Ankle Lock. Kofi broke loose. Jericho came to ringside and pulled the ropes away the referee seen this and told Jericho to leave. The Miz pulled out some brass knucks from his boots but Kofi dodged and hit a Trouble in Paradise to win the match.
-Kofi celebrates his huge win and takes momentum heading into Fatal Four Way. Jericho comes back down the ramp but the referee stops him. Jericho shoves the referee away and Kofi hits a Trouble in Paradise on Jericho who is laid out on the outside. Kofi stands on the apron and yells "Boom, Boom!" with the gesture to get the crowd hyped.
-We see The Hart Dynasty backstage. They are heading to the ring as they have a match coming up next!
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
-Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and Michelle McCool defeated. The Hart Dynasty 6:09 Decent matchup here. Rhodes and Ziggler scored a win over the Unified Tag Team Champions which was very impressive. They worked over Kidd nicely before Smith came in and took them both down. In the end, it proved to be too much as Ziggler and Rhodes hit a missile dropkick from different sides on Smith for a sandwich dropkick I guess? Ziggler covered him after that and they took the win.
-Ziggler and Rhodes celebrate their win as they have just beat the Unified Tag Team Champs. Could they be the next tag champions?
-Backstage, we see Jack Swagger being interviewed by Todd Grisham. Grisham asks him if he can focus with John Cena as a serious threat to also winning the title. Swagger says that Cena is just an obstacle that can be climbable. And it will be climbable when he climbs the mountain and becomes the World Heavyweight Championship.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
-World Heavyweight Champion Edge and John Morrison defeated. John Cena and Jack Swagger 9:38 Good main event to top off this good edition of SmackDown. John Cena kicked off things with John Morrison and Morrison was like a tornado. Cena managed to handle his own and brought Swagger in with Morrison on the turnbuckle. Swagger took over with a few power moves before Edge came in on fire. Swagger hit a high knee lift. Swagger and Edge both struggle for a tag. Swagger dives for a tag and Cena jumps off leaving Swagger to on a 2 on 1. Morrison hits a Starship Pain for the three count.
-Cena looks up the ramp happily at his work. Morrison and Edge high five. Edge turns Morrison around and hits a Spear. Cena and Edge staredown to end this episode of SmackDown.

- Good opening with Edge and Cena. - The Dudebusters picking up the win here is great. Hope to see them in contention for the titles soon. - Surprised to see MVP beat McIntyre. This really hurts the champs momentum heading into the 6 pack challenge. - Kingston beating Miz is fine as it gives him some momentum heading into F4W, especially with him getting the better of Jericho tonight. - The heels getting the win is great. Really loving the team of Rhodes and Ziggler. - Edge/Morrison winning is cool. Edge spearing Morrison shows that its every man for himself in the Fatal 4 Way. - Good SmackDown. Got me excited for F4W.

F4W looks really good. Im really liking the Kofi/Jericho feud. I like the team of Rhodes and Ziggler. I look for them to take on the Harts at the PPV. The 6-way for the IC title might be a little overkill. Id rather see a solid singles fued built over the title, though I can understand the interest around McIntyre having to defend his title against so many challengers and (supposedly) inevitably losing the title only to somehow eek out a win. Could be a good heat generator.

Gotta admit first off I haven’t read this diary for quite a while. Anyway I love the graphics, they’re big but I like that. - Good opening promo with Edge spearing Cena. - Dudebusters beating JTG and R Truth is a solid opener. Glad Dudebusters got the win personally - MVP beating McIntyre non title is as the description said a massive win for him. I wouldn’t mind seeing a MVP IC title run. - Kofi Kingston defeating Miz is ok. Kofi taking our Jericho is nice. - Rhodes and Ziggler as a team is definitely something I’d NOT like to see. Haha, would have preferred to see the heart dynasty win and look better champions. Edge and Morrison beating Cena and Swagger is fair enough I don’t think I cared about the result itself too much either way. Cena turning on Swagger is interesting possible heel Cena at some point? I don’t think he’s heel at this stage as I said I haven’t followed this too much (apologies) Anyway solid SmackDown in my opinion

-The amazing pyrotechnics blast out and the announces hype tonight's show. It hypes some of the more major matches and we are going to kick off things with a bang right now!
Chris Jericho defeated. Kofi Kingston 15:53 This was a phenomenal way to start Fatal Four Way. Kofi Kingston was intense tonight, coming out blasting Jericho from the get go. Kingston whipped Jericho off the ropes for the monkey flip. Kofi Kingston went for a springboard kick but Jericho tripped him and went for the Walls of Jericho but Kingston kicked him to the outside. Kofi ran to the outside for a suicide dive but Jericho dodged it and hit a clothesline. Jericho managed to work over Kofi throwing him into the barricade and banging him off of stuff. Jericho brought him back in. Jericho taunts before being flapjacked on the ropes and gets all hung up and eventually slips to the outside. Kofi brings Jericho to the announcement table and puts him on. Kofi stood on the security barricade and Kofi hits a Boom Drop through the announce table! Kofi and Jericho are out. Kofi ducks a enziguri and drops Jericho with the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi goes for the cover and could have won! The referee is out. Kofi wakes the referee back up which doesn't work. Kofi calls another referee down who runs up the ramp. Kofi lifts Jericho up but out of nowhere Jericho hits the Codebreaker following the Walls of Jericho with the knee on the neck. Kofi taps out.
-Chris Jericho gets up showing the effects of the exhilarating contest here. Kofi is up angrily as Jericho puts on a sinister grin.
-Backstage, we see Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler who walk onto the scene with Hart Dynasty. Ziggler says that he applauds the Hart Dynasty's decent reign as champion but tonight, the gold is coming to him. Smith says that Ziggler's talk is cheap and until he proves it, it's nothing. Ziggler says he can gloat all he wants but Hart Dynasty's good is against their great. Actually, their perfection. Natalya rolls her eyes and leaves with Hart Dynasty.
-We come back to see Cole and Lawler. They tell us that we're off to a great start to the night that's barely started. Justin Roberts announces the next match which is for the United States Championship.
Zack Ryder (c) defeated. Evan Bourne to retain the United States Championship 9:34 This two have had some amazing matches in the past and this one wasn't great it was simply very good. Really got the job done and Bourne's excitement got the crowd on their seats in the early goings of the match. But after dodging the top rope knee drop, it was Ryder's turn to take control as he worked over Bourne's knee. Bourne had the chance to put away Ryder with the Air Bourne after a DDT but Bourne's knee went out and he fell down on the turnbuckle. Ryder took advantage going to the apron and getting in front of Bourne and hit a Ruff Ryder off the top rope for the three count. -Ryder celebrates his victory with his US Championship held high. Bourne sits in the ring in anger.
A promo hypes WWE's next PPV, Money in the Bank 2010. The poster can be viewed right here
-We are backstage on interview with CM Punk. Mathews asks Punk if it gives him any doubts that Orton guaranteed he won't allow Punk to win the title. Punk says that people always doubt him. But he loves to prove them wrong. In this case, it'll happen tonight.
-A promo hypes our upcoming match. Which is our Six Pack Challenge.
The Miz defeated. Drew McIntyre (c), M.V.P, Christian, Shelton Benjamin, and William Regal to win the Intercontinental Championship 10:07 A very quick and fast-paced match full of awesome spots. All the superstars went after some one. The attacks spilled to the outside as M.V.P clotheslined Regal and Benjamin over the ropes. McIntyre came out and booted M.V.P. Shelton Benjamin ran over the ropes in a 360 for a huge splash. Benjamin came out and slapped McIntyre down. Benjamin gave Miz a suplex on the barricade leaving him hung up. McIntyre pushed Benjamin into Christian and then gave Miz a Future Shock off the barricade! Regal came out of nowhere and gave McIntyre a scoop exploder into Christian. Regal ran at Christian but Christian gave Regal a flapjack on the barricade taking him out for a while. M.V.P booted Miz who was still hung up. Miz fell into the crowd. The action fell back into the ring. Christian, McIntyre, and M.V.P were all on the turnbuckle. Shelton Benjamin hit a stinger splash on McIntyre but M.V.P and Christian dodged. M.V.P and Christian boot Shelton on both sides of his head, sandwiching him to the outside. M.V.P goes for the Playmaker but Christian pushes him to the ropes and grabs his leg and flips him over. McIntyre gives Christian a rake to the eye and goes for the Future Shock. Miz comes in and pulls McIntyre to the outside and steals the victory.
-The fans are in shock that Miz won after the punishment he took. McIntyre came close to retaining. It shows all the superstars in disppointment and Miz didn't hesitate to rub this in anyone's face. He raises the gold high as we head outside.
-A video promo hypes the return of Triple H.
-We see a graphic hyping the next match. Which is for the Divas Championship.
-Natalya defeated. Maryse (c) to win the Divas Championship 6:58 Good match here. Not exactly what you call great but it was not bad at all. Maryse was fired up, determined not to let this one slip from her grip. Mayrse was also on her game and was destroying Natalya midway through. Maryse tried for a French Kiss DDT but Natalya used her technical ability which runs through her blood from the other Harts who put on classics and whipped through and grabbed Maryse's leg for the Dragon Screw for the three count.
-Natalya comes to her feet and holds up her Divas Championship. The replays are shown. Natalya sits on the top rope raising the title high and is almost to tears. Maryse yells angrily on the ramp. After she leaves, Melina comes to the ramp and her and Natalya stares down Melina.
-Backstage, we see Edge who's warming up for his World Heavyweight Championship Match which he carries. John Morrison comes to the ring to a large pop. Morrison says he wants to be the first on congratulating Edge for losing the title so someone who isn't a loser. Edge says he's locked and loaded and will do anything tonight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Morrison says he has Edge to worry about. Edge says he's studied and knows he'll win tonight. Edge says he's worried but confident. Morrison walks away. Swagger comes in. Swagger says that Edge shouldn't be worried about Morrison, Swagger is his only competition tonight. And he won't hesitate to prove it. Swagger and Edge staredown as we head to another backstage segment.
-We see the Hart Dynasty backstage who are full of gold. They are filled with gold everywhere. Kidd tells Smith this is the life and they are living the Hart Dynasty era and Natalya agrees. They are on their way to the ring. The bell rings and right now is our Unified Tag Team Championship Match!
The Hart Dynasty defeated. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler 8:14 This was a good match. Things kicked off very slow paced. Rhodes and Kidd kicked things off and had a fun exchange. After Kidd missed the springboard double axe handle and Rhodes dodged to take in Ziggler, Ziggler hit a missile dropkick. They decided they'd pick apart Kidd. That worked for about three minutes but they had ideas for a double irish whip but Kidd hit a springboard moonsault on the two of them. Kidd made a hot tag where Smith was on fire. Smith clotheslined Rhodes over the ropes. Ziggler went for a Zig-Zag but Smith held the ropes. Kidd hit a springboard elbow drop on Ziggler and then hit a rolling suicide dive. Smith hit a huge spinebuster and gets the three on Ziggler for the win.
-David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd celebrate with Natalya. They are golden now, We may just be in the Hart era! They head backstage. Ziggler and Rhodes are already backstage.
-Backstage, we see Batista talking to Josh Mathews who looks very confused on what to say. Batista says he doesn't believe that Orton, Kane, or Punk think they have shot at his WWE Championship. Batista asks Mathews and he says he reckons so. Batista seems happy at some motivation and some support. That match starts now.
CM Punk defeated. Batista (c), Kane, and Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship 15:26 As most Fatal Four Way Matches are, this one was that same word. Exciting. This was much like a tornado tag match to kick things off as Kane and Randy Orton built momentum and clotheslined their rivals over the ropes. Orton turned Kane around and hit an RKO just two minutes into the match. Orton went for the cover and if Kane doesn't kick out, this will be a massive disappoint. Kane kicks out luckily. Kane sits up and Orton kicks him in the head and puts some stomps to him. Orton lifts Kane to his feet and goes for the headlock backbreaker but Kane hits a reverse choke holding him high. Punk out of nowhere hits an Air Punk on Kane and Orton. Punk whips Orton to the turnbuckle and goes for the Shining Wizard but as he's running, Batista comes out of nowhere with a Spear. Batista hits Kane with a Spinebuster and has intentions for a Batista Bomb. Orton was the victim. Kane grabs Batista by the throat. Batista rakes his eyes and pulls brass knucks out of his knee pads and drops Kane with them. Orton rolls back in and Punk kicks him back out. Batista looks angry that Punk ruined his attack. Punk goes for the Go 2 Sleep but Batista gives Punk an elbow and then drills Punk with a Batista Bomb on Punk. Punk falls on top of Kane. Orton pulls Batista's leg and brings him to the outside and hits an RKO! But they are unaware that CM Punk has just won the WWE Championship!
-CM Punk jumps in the air and runs around the ring and slides on his knees! CM Punk is our new WWE Champion! Wow what a shocker! Punk hurries up the ramp raising his WWE Championship high! When he leaves, Batista and Orton are stirring as Kane sits up. Kane grabs them both by the throat and drops them with a double chokeslam. Kane slams his arms down and the fire blasts. The crowd loves it.
-Backstage, we see Rey Mysterio on interview. He doesn't get any words in as Punk comes around the corner yelling "Wooo! Yeah baby!" Punk tells Mysterio to leave because he's better than him. Mysterio tells Josh he might wanna leave. Mysterio puts his fist up. Punk tells Mysterio that is so like people who aren't striaght edge. They have short term memory. Punk reminds Mysterio he was just in a WWE Championship Match. So if he wants to settle this, they can settle this on another time.
-We see a graphic hyping this Monday Night RAW's main event. Tomorrow night, we have a Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender at Money in the Bank.
-We head outside and see a view of Uniondale, NY and then, a promo hypes the main event. Which is, the World Heavyweight Championship Match which is now!
Edge defeated. John Morrison, John Cena, and Jack Swagger to retain his World Heavyweight Championship 14:09 Great main event to end things here in this fast paced match. Cena's emotions got the best of him and he attacked Swagger on his way to the ring and threw Swagger all over the stuff on the outside. Edge and Morrison watched on. Edge made the first move and Morrison ducked and kicked Edge in the gut and hit a slow neckbreaker. Morrison went to the top and hit a moonsault but Edge got his knees up. Edge went for a DDT but taunted a bit. Cena hit a leg drop bulldog off the top rope on both of them. Cena locked in the STF-U on Morrison. Swagger locked in the Ankle Lock on Edge. Two painful submissions were locked in. Cena gave in and tripped Swagger up and locked in the STF-U. Swagger managed to reach the ropes. Cena got off at a very close four. Morrison kicked Cena in the head. Morrison measured all his opponents and hit a triple Starship Pain on them all. Morrison covered all of them for two counts everywhere. Morrison used a smart strategy of clearing the ring. Cena stood on. Morrison went for a Flying Chuck Triangle Kick but Cena ducked. Cena gave Morrison an Attitude Adjustment off the apron to the outside on Swagger. Edge hits a rope hung Edge 'O' Matic! Edge then drops Cena with a Spear and takes the victory.
-Edge gets up hugging his World Heavyweight Championship. It's short lived as Jack Swagger drops Edge with the briefcase following a DDT on the bricks inside the briefcase. Swagger hands the referee the briefcase and he's cashing in!
-Jack Swagger defeated. Edge 1:09 to WIN the World Heavyweight Championship Swagger gives Edge a slingshot turnbuckle splash. Then gives Edge a Gutwrench Powerbomb! Edge kicks out and Swagger looks like he's about to lose it! Swagger chokes and stomps on Edge until four and then tries for another Gutwrench Powerbomb and connects for the three!
-Swagger just lost the Fatal Four Way but he had the briefcase! Swagger celebrates with his World Heavyweight Championship gold! What a contreversial end to Fatal Four Way! Swagger holds the title high as Fatal Four Way ends.

- Great start to the show. Kingston/Jericho sounded amazing and Jericho winning is great. - Didn't expect Ryder to retain, but it's cool. - So happy The Miz won the IC title. Match went on a little too long for a 6- pack challenge I think. - Natalya winning the Divas title is great. Can't wait to see how her reign goes. - The Dynasty winning here is great as they all now have gold. - So glad Punk won the strap. Hopefully you give him a nice lengthy reign. - Surprised Edge won and retained the title. - Swagger cashing in and winning is fantastic.
- Great PPV. btw I love the MITB poster.

Hi! So you are kind of the first diary I flipped through and I really love what you do. Your graphics make things that much better as well. The FFW was a really nice card as well. - Glad to see Natalya winning and it will be interesting to see how she continues her reign. - Seeing Ryder win made my heart melt. I am a huge Woo woo woo fan. - Personally I was surprised to see CM Punk win, but that is just me. Like I said, for my first diary read, you certainly raised the bar : )

Fatal Four Way: Chris Jericho over Kofi is fine, especially with the Walls of Jericho which is always fun. Boom Drop through the announce table was good and I'm glad you emphasised it. Very breif description for the US Title Match, glad Ryder retained however. The Miz winning the Six Pack Challenge is a nice surprise, would've like to see Christian or MVP win it as an alternative. Natalya winning the Divas Championship is great, I'd like to see a fued come together in the Divas divison though. Decent segment between three of the four Main Event competitors. Glad The Hart Dynasty retined as Ziggler and Rhodes could acheive so much more on their own. I love the way CM Punk won the WWE Championship, very sneaky and effective, and now the unpredictablity factor has settled in for the main event. A Punk/Mysterio fued possibly being in the works sounds good. Edge retaining is cool, Swagger post match attacked is unneeded but wow, not anymore becaus ehe's cashing in. I'm surprised Morrison or Cena didn't interfere tbh. Swagger winning the World Title is great though, I hope he has a lengthy reign.

Good PPV. Kofi/Jericho may be my fav feud right now, and they had a great match. Hope it continues. Ryder retaining is fine. I like the Miz and am glad he is IC champ, though at the same time I think McIntyre should have retained. Surprised to see Punk as champ too. Swagger cashing in MITB after his match was a nice twist and original since he was also in the original match. Good idea. Overall a soild show.

- Great match between Kofi and Jericho, glad to see Jericho get the win. - Very nice ending to the Bourne/Ryder match with a Super Ruff Ryder, glad to see Ryder retain. - Love that mitb poster. - Miz winning is Awesome!(Punny) - Natalya winning is fine with me. - Hart Dynasty winning is good, giving them all the gold. My only complaint as that this match was a bit high in the card. - Punk winning his great, give him a nice run. - Edge retaining is an alright call I suppose. - Very shocking way to have Swagger cash in and I thought it was pretty good. - Good Fatal Four Way.

A pretty good opener between Jericho/Kofi. I do hope to see Jericho get back to the main event spot. He is just too good of a heel to not be. Pretty cool to see Zack Ryder with a belt, I can dig that. Anytime Miz wins a championship is a good thing. Hopefully Punk can get a lengthy run with the title as well. Not a fan of Jack Swagger winning the World Heavyweight championship. The guy is simply awful, but I will see if you can make him at least somewhat interesting/good. Not a bad show as I liked a lot of the decisions you made.

This was a very good matchup filled with lots of fast-paced. Mysterio had both Ryder and Primo for the 619 but Ryder broke off and hit a Ruff Ryder in mid-air. Bourne came out of nowhere and hit the double knee lariat on Ryder. Bourne climbs to the top and hits an Air Bourne for the victory.
-Bourne and Mysterio celebrate their huge victory! Mysterio and Bourne head up the ramp while Ryder is in the ring yelling at Primo. They argue as we head backstage.
-Backstage, Mathews is on interview with Randy Orton. Mathews asks Orton who do he thinks is easier to beat between Batista or Punk. Orton says to be honest, with all due respect, he doesn't care. Tonight, he's going to win the Battle Royal and whoever the champion is then, won't be having a long reign as champion.

-Natalya defeated. Maryse to retain the Divas Championship 5:57 Decent matchup here. The new Divas Champion Natalya beat Maryse in a match that wasn't as good as their one last night but it wasn't horrible. Natalya showed she could hang. Maryse carried this match throughout the match. Natalya won the match with her new finisher The Hart Breaker (Dragon Screw into cradle pin.) Natalya retained her gold.
-Natalya raised her Divas Championship gold high. Maryse headed up the ramp with the "talk to the hand" taunt. Melina once again stood on the stage staring down Natalya.
-Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler tell us it should be interesting to see what Melina has planned. Tonight, we still have CM Punk vs. Batista for the WWE Championship in a Steel Cage Match. Kane says they better hope they win because which ever one of them loses, not only feel the wrath of defeat tonight, but they will feel something much worse. Something that both have felt before and won't hesitate to be the victim of it once more. And that is, the wrath of Kane!
-Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty defeated. Santino Marella and Chavo Guerrero 6:06 It seems that Santino Marella is a heel once more. Which is very refreshing since he's more aggressive and serious. Anyways, it was a decent matchup that Hart Dynasty was carrying. Chavo was on the top rope. -While on commercial, we seen a promo that showed what happened at Fatal Four Way.
-The announcers hype that we have a new World Heavyweight Champion in Jack Swagger. He lost the Fatal Four Way and immediately after, he cashed in MITB on Edge. This week on SmackDown should be interesting knowing that Edge is looking to regain his gold.

Punk kicks the door into Batista's face and we see blood. Punk drops down and wins the match.
-Punk runs over to the timekeeper table and he takes his gold. Punk stands on the security barricade near the announcement table and holds his WWE Championship high. -Great opening promo. Austin making the Punk/Batista match a steel cage is legit. -Bourne and Mysterio picking up the win is the right choice IMO. -Natalya winning is good. Her title reign looks to be great. -Mysterio winning is shocking. Looking forward to MITB -HD beating Santino and Chavo is good. -Punk retaining is nice. The post match attack from Kane to Batista is decent. Wonder what this will lead up to.

- Nice opening segment with Austin making a cage match between Punk and Batista. - Bourne/Rey getting the win is a decision that you can't go wrong with. - Expected win for Natalya as she just won the Divas Title. - Very interesting to see Rey win the battle royal. Not a bad choice though. - Expected win for The Dynasty. Hope they can find new challengers for their titles. - Interesting choice of competitors for the MITB match, but I think it would've been better to have qualifying matches. - Punk retaining the gold sounds great. Interesting events with Batista and Kane at the end. - Good Raw. Punk/Rey at MITB should be a classic.
