They hype our matches for tonight which are Intercontinental Champion The Miz taking on John Morrison as well as World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger meeting 1 on 1 with Kofi Kingston. We are interrupted by Chris Jericho.
"Break the Walls Down" hits and Chris Jericho makes his way out to the ring. Chris Jericho is given a microphone and waits for the heat to die down. He begins by saying that his rivalry with Kofi Kingston is nothing but a way to show his dominance and showing a clear message to whoever walks out of SummerSlam as the World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho claims he was robbed of the championship back in April and he's going to get it back very soon. World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger comes to the ring. Swagger says that he hopes that Jericho isn't planning on winning the World Heavyweight Championship from him. He's not going to let it go for a while now. Jericho says that he hopes that Swagger considers a while now at the PPV after SummerSlam. Swagger says no he considers WrestleMania 30 as a while from now. Jericho says well his days are numbered and he wants him right now. Jericho throws his jacket off only for Teddy Long to come out. Long says that Swagger is already booked for a match tonight. And since he's already booked, Jericho should be too. Long says that coming up next, Jericho is going to face this man. The crowd erupts at the sight of Great Khali! That match is next! Jericho looks like he's about to fall out. We head to commercial.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Chris Jericho defeated. The Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh via countout 5:59 Interesting battle to kick off SmackDown here tonight. Jericho was still visibly angry at having to fight the 7'3 420lb monster, Great Khali. Khali threw him around like a rag doll for a while. Khali would go on to hit the chop to the chest in the corner and some clotheslines. Jericho regrouped on the outside. Khali followed him and tried to chop him but Jericho ducked and Khali hit his hand on the steel pole. Jericho pushed him into it and taunted the crowd. Jericho waited for Khali to get up and tried to hit a Codebreaker but to no avail. Khali lifted Jericho for a Khali Bomb but Jericho raked his eyes. Jericho walked to Ranjin Singh and threatened to attack. Khali eventually got his hands on Jericho but Jericho broke loose and got in right before 10.
Jericho stood in the ring cockily at the sight of victory. Khali looked on angrily on the outside. Jericho hurried up the ramp with Khali walking behind in pursuit.
Backstage, we see Gail Kim who seems to have returned. Todd Grisham asks Gail Kim what she has planned for Lay-Cool tonight on her return. Kim says they cost her the Women's Championship. And for that, she's going to put them out tonight so they can get a taste of their own medicine. Layla comes with some air freshener and imitates Kim. Kim gets tired of it and fights the two of them. They eventually leave her knocked out because of the numbers game.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
We catch a promo hyping John Cena's new movie once again, "Legendary" which comes out September 10th, 2010.
"Good ol'" Jim Ross and Matt Striker take us back to NXT. Following the elimination of Percy Watson. We have three NXT Superstars left.
Kung Fu-Naki defeated. Jimmy Wang Yang, The Hurricane, Chavo Guerrero, Petey Williams, and Slam Master J in a SummerSlam Preview Battle Royal 6:13 This was a good battle royal here tonight. A nice preview for SummerSlam. The Hurricane had his own momentum collapsing on him when he tried to hit a crossbody on Chavo Guerrero over the ropes. But those oh so crafty, technical, sneaky veterans those Guerreros. Guerrero ducked and found kick Hurricane's leg over the ropes. Guerrero taunted and turned right into a dropkick followed by a springboard triangle Yang Time which really impressed all the fans. Yang had the most popularity here tonight. Williams hit Fu-Naki with a swinging neckbreaker. Then got into a fight on the apron with Slam Master J as well as Jimmy Wang Yang. Williams had Yang on his shoulders on the apron while he pushed J off. Williams threw Yang off the apron and was Crane kicked in the back by Fu-Naki thus giving him an exciting victory.
Kung Fu-Naki celebrates his victory to a great pop from this crowd who really seemed to love the Cruiserweights. Replays are shown before we head to the back.
Backstage, after Swagger gets off the phone, Jericho comes through and looks at the TV. Jericho says that Swagger better not be worried about Undertaker. He already knows win or lose he's going to have to through Jericho in the #1 Contender's Match or the World Heavyweight Championship Match. Christian comes through and says that he better not be focused on Jericho or Taker. See he doesn't have to wait until SummerSlam. He could cash this baby in tonight and face Undertaker at SummerSlam. Jericho and Christian leave the room arguing as Swagger looks on in stress.
A promo hypes the World Heavyweight Championship Match scheduled in 48 hours at SummerSlam between champion, Jack Swagger and challenger, The Undertaker
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
John Morrison defeated. Intercontinental Champion The Miz (Non Title) 10:46 This was a great first-hour main event and the crowd was all into this lengthy much like Bragging Rights matchup. Morrison and Miz began with a little chain wrestling which turned into three headlock takedowns by Morrison which Miz locked in the headscissors. Morrison rolled Miz for the two. They got up and Miz got some knees to the gut and some clubs to the back before hitting a big boot to the side of the head. Miz worked over Morrison for three minutes or so with some rest holds to wear down the back and neck of Morrison. Morrison would rally back with some kicks to the chest and face. Miz cameback and raked Morrison in the eye and went for the Skull Crushing Finale which Morrison turned into a russian leg sweep. Morrison would go on to finish Miz off with a Starship Pain for the victory on SmackDown.
Morrison got up and celebrated his victory on the top rope as SmackDown headed to a commercial break.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase and MVP defeated. Edge, R-Truth, Finlay, and JTG 6:00 Fine match to get everyone on the card here tonight for SmackDown. Edge and MVP kicked things off. MVP in a heel persona hit some questionable heel tactics like an eye rake, taking off the turnbuckle covering, anf all. Edge capitalized on an Edge 'O' Matic. The match rolled on with everyone on the card. The ending came when Edge took out Barrett and McIntyre himself with a Spear through the ropes. Truth flying to the outside to take on McIntyre and DiBiase alongside JTG, and MVP hitting a Play of the Day on Finlay for the win.
MVP gets up and seems to be doing much better as a heel. McIntyre, MVP, DiBiase, and Barrett head up the ramp. Jericho comes down and celebrates with them as the heels look on angrily.
John Cena is shown backstage. Cena is with SummerSlam teammate, RAW superstar, and United States Champion Zack Ryder. Cena says most of his team out there is doing great by themselves. Imagine how they'd be with him and Ryder. Christian walks by and says that's cause he wasn't out there. And just walks right on by with Cena and Ryder looking on confused.
A graphic promotes our main event tonight. Jack Swagger taking on Kofi Kingston. But coming up next on SmackDown, we are going to see diva tag team action.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Women's Champion Beth Phoenix and Gail Kim defeated. Team Lay-Cool 5:05 This rivalry is quickly fuming with gas and fire. Kim and Layla kicked off things with Kim running right at her and giving her a spear. Kim lights Layla with some lefts and rights as the match begins. Beth and Kim take turns beating down on Layla before McCool comes in to distract them. Gail Kim comes at McCool so McCool gets the referee to take the punishment. McCool uses the Divas Championship to level Phoenix on the outside. They run at Kim but Kim ducks and McCool hits Layla. Kim quickly hits Eat Defeat as the new referee comes and counts the pinfall.
Lay-Cool hurries up the ramp in anger and humiliation. Kim and Phoenix celebrate before Kim takes a microphone. Kim tells Phoenix thanks for holding on to her championship while she was hurt. Phoenix pulls the gold away as Kim tries to take it. Phoenix says she worked for this. Though Kim was hurt, she can't just take the championship back. Kim reminds her she never lost it. Phoenix says she'll give her a shot but that's it. Vickie Guerrero repeatedly says "Excuse Me!" Before coming out to get to her point. She says that though Kim never lost the gold, she's Lay-Cool helped her win her first match at WrestleMania XXVI. So for their reward, Kim can have a shot at the gold, if she can beat Lay-Cool in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match next week. Kim looks in anger as Vickie laughs.
On split screen, we see Kofi Kingston and on the other, World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger. Coming up next, they will be fighting in our main event.
A promo hypes the upcoming WWE PPV, SummerSlam on August 15th, 2010.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger defeated. Kofi Kingston (Non Title) 12:04 Good main event here tonight on SmackDown. Swagger came right out and tried to boot Kofi but he dodged and gave Swagger some rights to the jaw before whipping him off the ropes. Kofi hit a high vertical crossbody as well as some high leaping smashes. Swagger eventually dodged one and Kofi fell on his jaw. Swagger kicked Kingston in the head as well as stomping him in the gut. Swagger worked over Kingston for a bit before Kofi went on his control frenzy which ended with a Boom Drop. He set up for the Trouble in Paradise which connected and Swagger fell to the corner. Kofi shrugged and jumped high over Swagger's head before delivering eight punches to the head. Swagger threw Kingston face first into the turnbuckle before hitting the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the victory.
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger stood tall with his World Heavyweight Title and raised it high. The lights went out and the crowd went nuts. Swagger looked at the titantron and seen Undertaker behind him. Swagger turned around straight into a Chokeslam. Undertaker did the cut-throat taunt to the crowd's delight and then lifted Swagger onto his shoulders for the bone-crunching Tombstone Piledriver. Undertaker stood high with the World Heavyweight Championship as SmackDown faded to black.

-Decent opening promo, and Khali/Jericho is an okay opening match -Jericho winning is fine -I'm not a fan of the return of the Cruiserweight Title, so I wasn't a big fan of this match. But the worst part was Funaki winning -Hoping Christian cashing in soon -Morrison winning the non-title match is fine, but he better not take the belt off of The Miz -Six man tag was okay, a bit short though -Divas tag was what you'd expect, and the idea of a handicap match next week is nice -Good main event and the post match stuff was solid
Decent show, but it featured a lot of questionable decisions.

Im behind on keeping up with this. SS looks stacked and has been built up well, espeically with SNME. I hope Williams wins the CW title and is a serious champion. The CW division is a little too loaded with gimmicks.

Damn, this is already on 16 pages – that is crazy.
I like the opening segment involving Chris Jericho and Jack Swagger – good job there. Chris Jericho versus the Great Khali :/ You actually booked that match well though and gave it a believable ending. It is pretty cool that you brought back Cruiserweights and I hope to see you add on to the division as the time goes on. I dislike John Morrison defeating the Miz as it just doesn’t do much for me. I don’t like having random eight man tag team match just for the sake of getting everyone on the card. You can get everyone on a show without having meaningless matches. I really did not understand the John Cena/Zack Ryder/Christian segment at all. Swagger defeating Kofi Kingston is good as it seemed like a rather competitive match.

-Good opening promo with Jericho/Swagger. -Jericho over Khali is a great win. -Funaki winning is good but I am not such a fan of it -Morrison over Miz is nice. -The heels winning gives them nice momentum into Summerslam. -Phoenix and Kim winning is good. -Swagger over Kingston is great. Post match actions were as well. Overall, good SD!

WWE SummerSlam August 15th, 2010 Los Angeles, CA Credit goes to Shifty for graphics
-A video promo kicks off the show hyping the recent feuds like the TLC Match between the Hardys, the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, and Triple H/Sheamus. Then we head to the SummerSlam promo video.
-We see a display of the pyrotechnics erupting from the stage before the camera quickly circles around the arena to show the amazing SummerSlam stage and some signs and the fans showing off their merchandise and signs. Our two announce teams rundown the card with Ross and Striker are last because they hand us the opening match.
Four of the Cruiserweights come down to the ring. The Hurricane is on his way to the ring. Chavo Guerrero races down the ramp and attacks The Hurricane on the ramp. Teddy Long comes down and says that Guerrero wasn’t smart enough to plan this attack off camera. Teddy says that he wasn’t on time to stop it. But he’s a man that always has a backup plan. And because of Guerrero’s cowardous move, he's found a replacement. "It's Time!" hits and Gregory Helms comes out leaving us all slightly confused!
Gregory Helms defeated. Slam Master J, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu-Naki, Chavo Guerrero, and Petey Williams in a Cruiserweight Open to win the Cruiserweight Championship 8:14 The fans were still in shock as they all thought Helms was Hurricane. We reckon not. Anyways, Kung Fu-Naki and Chavo Guerrero fought while Williams and Helms fought and Yang and J fought. Funaki, Williams, and Helms would all throw their opponents outside the ring and hit triple planchas. Helms then ducked a clothesline from Williams and it hit Yang. Helms gave Williams a neckbreaker on the outside. The action raced back to the inside where Williams gave Helms a superplex while ultimately turned into a splash when Yang had Master J in the air for a suplex and they connected. The standing two, Guerrero and Fu-Naki. They had a good battle before Guerrero hit him with a Gory Bomb. Yang threw Guerrero to the outside only to be thrown to the outside by J. Slam Master J then lifted up Williams and signalled for the victory following a sideslam backbreaker. Out of nowhere, Helms leveled him with the shining wizard for the victory.
Gregory Helms celebrates his victory with us still confused on who was The Hurricane then. None the less, Gregory Helms is the first Cruiserweight Champion since it's return. We head backstage.
Vickie Guerrero is backstage yelling to Teddy Long that her nephew would have won if he hadn't put in Gregory Helms. Long says everyone had a fair chance. Teddy Long leaves while Vickie looks like she's about to explode.
We head to the announcement table where Jim Ross and Matt Striker show us a video promo hyping Lance Cade who died on August 13th, 2010.
We head back to the arena where they talk about it a bit more before he head to another video package hyping our upcoming match. A rivalry that's been brewing since May and that is Batista vs. Kane.
Final Battle: Kane defeated. Batista 8:04 This was a big bar brawl to kick off things. Batista ran down the ramp and leveled Kane with a Spear. Batista was right at Kane at that point before the referee got him off. Kane sat up only to be kicked in the face. Kane had the crowd behind him a whole lot tonight. Batista gave Kane some shoulder thrusts to the ropes followed by a Spinebuster. Batista looked to have things well in hand before shaking the ropes. Batista lifted Kane up to go for his Batista Bomb but Kane broke loose and drilled Batista with a huge uppercut to bring him to his knees. Kane then gave him a front powerslam and a flying clothesline from the top and went for his Chokeslam. Batista gave him a rake to the eyes and a clothesline. Batista stepped back and went for a Spear but Kane dodged and Batista drilled the steel ringpost. Kane took advantage with a Tombstone Piledriver for the victory.
Kane celebrates his victory with the crowd loving it. Kane backflip rolls over the ropes and heads up the ramp looking at Batista who was another victim of Kane's destruction. We head to an interview.
Backstage, we see Josh Mathews on interview with Sheamus asking him if he is ready to compete with someone as angry as Triple H tonight. Sheamus says that as far as he's concerned, Triple H is just an obstacle or stepping stone for him to climb higher into becoming the WWE Champion. Sheamus says he's going to gloat each and every week when Triple H is in a hospital bed and he's the champion and tell Triple H, he put this all on himself. We head to the arena for our Intercontinental Championship Match.
The Miz defeated. Shelton Benjamin, William Regal, and Drew McIntyre to retain the Intercontinental Championship 7:18 The heels seemed to have a strategy already. Everyone was in one corner before The Miz and Drew McIntyre walked over to William Regal as they stood their looking at Benjamin ready to attack the only face in this matchup. Benjamin hopped over Miz before being clotheslined in mid-air by Benjamin. They all took turns taking over Benjamin with Regal hitting a scoop exploder and a suplex, McIntyre hitting a gutwrench suplex and a snap suplex, and The Miz hitting a neckbreaker and a DDT. Miz went for a cover and they arguing started. They argued so long that Benjamin got up and tackled Regal into Miz and McIntyre as they fell to the outside. Benjamin ran at Regal who flipped Benjamin over the ropes for a splash on the outside. Regal tried to grab Benjamin's hair and bring him in but Benjamin pulled him to the outside and leveled him with lefts and rights intensely. Benjamin whipped Regal into the steel steps and turned around right into a Future Shock from McIntyre. McIntyre rolled Miz in and tried to give one to him but Miz broke loose and hit a DDT. They battled for a bit and Benjamin gave Regal a suplex on the outside. McIntyre was intensely trying a Future Shock on Miz but Benjamin came and gave him a Paydirt. Miz threw him to the outside and covered McIntyre for the victory.
The Miz somehow retains the gold again despite these multi-man challenges. He gloats the crowd and other participants and heads backstage.
The Miz is backstage and walks around the corner to MVP. MVP says that The Miz better do everything on his to do list with that title because it'll be the last time he wears it once he gets a crack at it. The Miz tells MVP that he already beat him twice this year for the United States Championship so he doesn't deserve it. MVP says that he's a changed man and we'll see if he deserves it.
We head to a video showing a SummerSlam moment of back in 1998 when Stone Cold defeated The Undertaker to retain the WWF Championship.
Backstage, we see Jack Swagger watching what looks to be Undertaker/HBK at WM26 before we head to a promo.
The video package promotes our next match which is the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match between Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy!
Jeff Hardy defeated. Matt Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match 22:01 The crowd is pumped for this epic match and you can see the atmosphere changing. Matt Hardy makes his way down to the ring with a chair in hand. Jeff Hardy races down and attacks him on the ramp. Jeff throws Matt on the concrete on the side of the ramp and blasts him repeatedly with the chair. Hardy goes to the top of the ramp and prepares to jump off but Matt gets up and blasts Jeff Hardy in mid-air. Matt Hardy takes Jeff up the ramp and throws him into the barricade before getting his chair. Matt runs back at Jeff who has his own chair and he drills Matt with it. Jeff hopes on the barricade and hits the side leg drop kick off it on Matt. Jeff rolls in the ring and tries to hit a suicide dive through the ropes only to be dropped with a trash can lid in mid-air. Hardy gets a 2 count. Matt Hardy hops on the apron waiting for Jeff to get up before delivering a double axe handle. Hardy gets a table and sets two of them up on the outside. Matt takes Jeff up on the apron and tries to deliver a Twist of Fate through them but Jeff pushes him in the ring. Jeff gives Matt a Swanton Bomb for a two, Jeff Hardy gets a ladder and slides it in the ring. Matt beats him to it and drills Jeff in the head with it on the apron. Matt Hardy attempts a Twist of Fate and Jeff Hardy falls back through the two stacked tables! Hardy goes for the cover for a shocking two. Matt Hardy gets ladder and puts Jeff and the ladder in the ring. Matt Hardy comes in to a chair shot before Jeff hits a Whisper in the Wind on the downed Matt Hardy. Jeff Hardy takes Matt to the outside once again with a ladder tries to hit a moonsault with the ladder in hand but Hardy dodges and Hardy crashes and burns on the outside. Matt stacks the biggest ladder in front of the announcement table and picks him Jeff as they both climb it. They trade lefts and rights about 20ft high before Matt Hardy tries a Twist of Fate off of it. Jeff pushes him off and Hardy falls on the announcement table. Jeff Hardy taunts the crowd who's giving him heat and then hits a Swanton Bomb off the ladder through the announcement table much like at SummerSlam 2009 on CM Punk. Jeff is on lying on top of Matt for the pin and the victory to some "Holy poop!" chants from the crowd.
The crowd knows they were in for one of the greatest TLC Matches ever and boy it was! Jeff Hardy's music is playing and he is in the ring. Matt Hardy rolls in two. Matt Hardy extends his hand as both men are barely standing. Jeff Hardy shakes Matt Hardy's hand. They hug in the right. The crowd gives them a deafening ovation. The Hardys are back together they head backstage.
WWE Champion CM Punk is backstage taunting Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy for creating this "amazing" back together story as Punk imitates crying. Jeff Hardy says that he has unfinished business with CM Punk in this very arena and he could just get it tonight. CM Punk says that Jeff Hardy better not cost him the WWE Championship. Punk is on panic mode as he leaves yelling "Luke!" repeatedly.
We head outside of Staples Center in Los Angeles. We come back in to see some of the celebs in here. We see the 2010 NBA Champions, Los Angeles Lakers, we see Freddie Prinze, and some more people before a video package highlights our next matchup.
A video package hypes the John Cena/Edge feud before showing the 5 on 5 Match with some other feuds riding high it this one. And now, it's time for the match.

Hart Dynasty to retain the Unified Tag Team Championships 7:10 This match kicked off fast and furious as Tyson Kidd blew to the outside on a suicide dive to the champions. Kidd lifted them both to their feet. Ziggler and Rhodes thought they had a numbers game advantage only for Smith to come and clothesline Ziggler on the outside. A promo hypes WWE's upcoming PPV, Breaking Point. Which is on September 19th, 2010!

CM Punk defeated. Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship 14:47 A spectacular main event to top off SummerSlam tonight. CM Punk and Randy Orton locked up before Randy Orton immediately locked in a headlock sleeper. Punk reversed and locked in a body scissors. Orton got angry and set up for the RKO but Punk pushed him off a scoop powerslam. Punk then hit the shining-wizard but when he tried the bulldog, all he received was a headlock backbreaker. Orton set up for the RKO once again which connected. Punk fell to the outside! Orton set up for the Punt on the outside but Punk dodged and tried to hit a dropkick which Orton dodged. Orton came in and tried to hit an RKO off the top rope but Punk turned Orton around and drilled him with a shot with the brass knuckles. Orton seemed to be in the way for the referee's way so he didn't know. Orton gell to the ground unconscious. Punk lifted Orton to his feet and delivered his pattened finisher move, Go 2 Sleep! Punk collapses to his knees and covers for the victory.
Punk has stole one! He cheated but none the less he retains his WWE Championship! Orton is still laid out as Punk is handed his WWE Championship. Punk stands on the ramp holding the championship high as SummerSlam goes off air.

Very good first part twisting us all. I thought that Helms was Hurricane and to be honest, a good feud can be made with this. Kane needed the victory over Batista considering Batista won at MITB. Wished it would have been an Inferno Match though. The Miz retaining is good for his reign. You continue to push him great. Epic TLC Match between The Hardys. It was a spotfest. Jeff winning was great since he didn't really win the feud in 2009. Team Edge going over Team Cena was good revenge for Edge because of what happened at MITB. Christian and Edge the sole survivors was great. Rhodes and Ziggler retaining was expected considering they just won the gold last month. Give them a good reign. Sheamus over HHH is a major shocker. Shane McMahon turning on Triple H is a huge shocker too. Can't wait to see the aftermath. Swagger and Undertaker ending in a No Contest with the pin/submission was sort of like Angle/Undertaker or something like that back a few years ago. Nice to see that back and can't wait to see that. Punk retaining keeps his reign strong. Really hope that Orton wins the WWE Championship at Night of Champions. Cool poster. Spectacular PPV and you will have lots to talk about on the following shows.

- Decent opener with the Cruiserweight challenge. Helms winning the gold is good though. - Kane winning here is nice so he can move on to bigger and better things. Maybe the WWE Title? - Glad that The Miz retained. his title reign is looking really good so far. - Jeff over Matt is fine, but not too sure on the two of them reuniting after the match. It's all good though. - Edge winning the feud against Cena was needed. Him and Christian as the survivors is epic. - Happy that Rhodes/Ziggler retained. - Sheamus defeating Triple is an iffy decision, but it's fine if the feud is going to continue, which it looks like it may seeing as how Shane and Vince aligned themselves with Sheamus. - The No Contest ending is fine, but if you go down the route of vacating the title, it should be interesting to see who becomes champion. Or if you just keep Swagger as champion then that's fine too. - Punk over Orton is good, but I don't really know about it main eventing as I feel that SummerSlam is a show that should end with a face standing tall. - Good SummerSlam. Looking forward to NOC. (Nice poster by the way)

-Good way to open the show with Cruiserweight Challenge. Helms winning it is nice. -Kane winning the final battle is great. Wonder whats next for him. -Miz retaining is nice. His title reign is looking solid. -Jeff over Matt is good, and theme reuniting in the end is good, but not such a fan of it. -Edge and Christian being the survivors is decent. Nevertheless, it was a nice match to end the Edge/Cena feud. -Rhodes and Ziggler retaining is great. -Sheamus over HHH is good, and Shane/Vince aligning with Sheamus is nice and makes the feud continue. -The match ending in No Contest is good. Wonder what happens next with the title. -Punk retaining is nice. Him standing tall to end SummerSlam is good as well. Overall, solid PPV.

WWE Monday Night RAW l August 16th, 2010 l Los Angeles, CA
-A promo hypes last night's WWE Championship Match at SummerSlam. It hypes CM Punk drilling Randy Orton with brass knuckles to retain his WWE Championship.
The pyrotechnics erupt from the stage. After that, we see the usual crowd scan and Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to Monday Night RAW. Before they can get anything out, we head to the arena where Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon, and Sheamus come out to the arena.
Shane McMahon takes a microphone and begins to remind us of last night when Triple H had Sheamus beat but it wasn't enough. Shane says that people have been asking him all day why he would do such a thing. Shane claims it was Triple H could never protect his sister Stephanie. Shane reminds us of when Randy Orton attacked Stephanie McMahon in 2009 and now in 2010 with Sheamus. Shane says that he knows he did the right thing and doesn't have any remourse for it and if Triple H cannot take care of his wife, then it looks like her big brother is going to have to do so. "My Time" hits and Triple H comes out angrily. Triple H says that Shane is going to feel pain after he's done with them even if he doesn't feel sorrow know and that goes for the jar of mayonise and the father they should call mother because he acts like a bitch. Vince cuts him off and says that he daughter must have married a dumb person since he thinks he'll take them 3 on 1. Triple H goes to the outside and says that Vince is dumb for thinking that. Triple H says that he's got a crew that will reign down pain on those three "punks" tonight. The Hart Dynasty make their way to the ring with Vince looking shocked at his long history with the Harts. Triple H says that it doesn't stop there. The Board of Directors have agreed to give him a match at Breaking Point against Shane McMahon. Triple H, Kidd, and Smith head up the ramp as we head to commercial.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Evan Bourne defeated. United States Champion Zack Ryder to earn a shot at the United States Championship at Breaking Point 8:30 This is probably the best mid-card feud lately. Bourne automatically knew what was up for grabs and leveled the "Long Island Loudmouth with some jumping high knees before missing a kick in the corner. Ryder tangled Bourne in the ropes before unloading away at him. Ryder tangled Bourne's leg in the ropes and was relentless until four. The ref attempted to get up off but Ryder rolled to the outside and went back to work. Bourne rebounded near the end of this match and got a small package for the victory!
The crowd cheered heavily before our United States Champion Zack Ryder took a microphone. Ryder says that he doesn't think it's fair that he's putting something on the line and Bourne isn't. Ryder says that he'd but Bourne doesn't have the guts to put his Money in the Bank Briefcase up for grabs too at Breaking Point. Bourne takes a microphone and says that Ryder bet wrong and it will cost him at Breaking Point because it's on! The crowd loves this! Ryder stand at the top of the ramp holding his US Championship high as Bourne holds his MITB high.
A graphic hypes our WWE Championship Scramble Qualifiers tonight. We have Kane vs. Ezekiel Jackson, CM Punk has a chance to make sure that Randy Orton doesn't qualify in a rematch from last night, and Batista will be taking on Mark Henry. And the Batista/Henry match is next on RAW!
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
A video package shows what happened last night at SummerSlam 2010 before RAW comes back on.
We come back to see a WWE.com view on RAW with some of the results in headline view before "I Walk Alone" hits and Batista makes his way out to the ring.
Batista defeated. Mark Henry 5:32 to qualify for the WWE Championship Scramble at Breaking Point Decent matchup between these two powerhouses. Henry was in firm control of this match as he hit his major 2006 rival with a big splash in the corner and then a scoop slam. Henry missed an elbow drop and Batista capitalized with a boot to the face and then a spear. Batista put the finish touches on Henry with a spinebuster and finally a Batista Bomb to end Henry.
Batista celebrates his victory tonight on RAW. A graphic shows Batista as the first qualifier except for the WWE Champion CM Punk who automatically qualifies. Batista taunts on the top rope before we head backstage.
Josh Mathews asks Randy Orton what he has planned for CM Punk after last night's title match. Orton says that last night, Punk robbed him of the championhip that show be lying across the shoulder of himself tonight on RAW. And for that, Orton may just end Punk tonight on RAW. Orton leaves as the logo shows us that that match is next.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Jeff Hardy is shown backstage. He walks around the corner and runs into Gallows. Gallows says that he seen the recent threats Hardy has been attempting to Punk. Hardy replies by telling Gallows that since he's here, he needs to deliver a message to Punk and that is, that his days are numbered as champion. Gallows says that tonight, he's going to make sure that Jeff does not qualify for the title scramble. But he'll be sure to deliver the message to the doctor. Gallows leaves as Hardy looks on. It's time for our first-hour main event
Randy Orton defeated. WWE Champion CM Punk to qualify for the WWE Championship Scramble at Breaking Point 11:31 CM Punk had a chance to make sure his recent rival, Randy Orton did not qualify for another shot at him at Breaking Point. He ultimately failed. Orton looked more dangerous than ever and it showed as he hit a swinging neckbreaker, rope-hung DDT, scoop powerslam, and a missile dropkick early on. Punk also went on to hit the double underhook backbreaker, slingshot clothesline, the spinning backhand, slap combination, and a shining wizard/bulldog. Punk had Orton up for a Go 2 Sleep but as Orton flew into the air, he hit a DDT. Orton followed that up with a Punt Kick for the victory.
Randy Orton got up the crowd cheering majorly. Orton stands tall over WWE Champion CM Punk raising the WWE Championship high before heading up the ramp. We see Sheamus talking with The McMahons. Stephanie McMahon is also seen there. Vince asks Stephanie can she dump HHH so he will be too unfocused to compete. Stephanie slaps Vince square in the face and leaves as Vince looks on angrily. A graphic shows our main event once again.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Kane defeated. Ezekiel Jackson to qualify for the WWE Championship Scramble at Breaking Point 7:13 Real hard hitting brawl here between these two powerhouses once again. Kane and Jackson were even as far as punches go. Kane eventually won and whipped Jackson to the turnbuckle and ran at him. Jackson would dodge and hit Kane with a standing powerslam for the two. Jackson worked over Kane's ribs for a bit before the big man, Jackson went for a clothesline only to be ducked and Kane hit a scoop slam/low dropkick and a sidewalk slam and a flying clothesline. Kane put away Jackson right there with a Chokeslam for the victory.
Kane taunts with the crowd for his victory to huge reaction of cheers. The graphic shows the Scramble so far that shows WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton. We see Jeff Hardy backstage as coming up next, Jeff Hardy teams with Divas Champion Natalya to take on Luke Gallows and Serena in a Mixed Tag Team Match. If Hardy and Natalya win, Hardy goes to the Scramble. If SES wins, Gallows is in.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
A "WWE Did You Know" shows us that WWE SummerSlam was the #1 Search Term on Google last night.
Jeff Hardy and Natalya defeated. Luke Gallows and Serena (Jeff Hardy qualifies for the WWE Championship Scramble at Breaking Point 5:52 Exciting mixed tag team match tonight. Hardy and Gallows kicked things off with Jeff Hardy already hitting a Twist of Fate! Hardy went to the top for the Swanton Bomb but Serena distracted him while Gallows rolled to the outside. Hardy jumped to the outside only to miss Gallows. Gallows worked over Hardy alot in this match with Jeff obviously still feeling the major effects of TLC Match just 24 hours ago. He eventually rebounded with a Whisper in the Wind and the tag to Natalya who did the job soon after with a Northern Lights Suplex for the win on Serena.
Natalya and Jeff Hardy celebrated their victory as Gallows and Serena head up the ramp in anger we head backstage.
Backstage, we see Rey Mysterio. Sheamus comes and tells Mysterio that Vince wants him to be their backup tonight. Mysterio suggests that Sheamus get out of his face unless he wants a boot bruise on his face thanks to the 619. Sheamus tells Mysterio that he already beat him and doesn't have a problem doing it again soon. Mysterio says that Sheamus has one more chance to not be injured before his match tonight. Sheamus tells Mysterio he will be back. A graphic hypes our main event live next on RAW.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
A promo hypes WWE's upcoming PPV, Breaking Point. Which is on September 19th, 2010!
Backstage, we see CM Punk who is yelling at Luke Gallows for not getting the job done. Gallows yells back at Punk telling him that he lost tonight too. Punk looks on in disgust before taking Serena and leaving.
Triple H and The Hart Dynasty defeated. Sheamus and The McMahons via disqualification 13:08 Very intense main event here tonight, You could just tell that Triple H was having an extremely hard time controlling his emotions. Triple H came right back at Sheamus with a clothesline and then some lefts and rights to a close four. Triple H got Sheamus in the corner and gave him some huge lefts and rights before whipping him off the ropes and hitting a clothesline before hitting a flowing DDT. Shane came in to the same treatment before Kidd came in and hit a springboard dropkick to the arm. Smith also came in and hit a running side slam. The McMahons didn't take momentum until dodging Kidd's suicide dive. Sheamus took over Kidd as they worked over him. He made a tag to Smith who was on a roll before they took over him. Triple H got the hot and ducked a clothesline from Vince which hit Shane. Triple H threw Shane to the outside where Kidd took care of him. Sheamus hit Triple H with a chair. Kidd and Shane fought up the ramp and McMahon/Smith fell to the crowd. Sheamus assaulted HHH with the chair before Mysterio came down!
Mysterio raced down the ramp and ducked Sheamus and hit a springboard turnaround splash and then a 619. Sheamus turned right into a chair shot from Triple H. Triple H hit Sheamus with a Pedigree on the chair. Kidd and Smith came back down. Smith, Kidd, HHH, and Mysterio stood tall in the ring as McMahons and Sheamus look on in anger to end RAW.

World Wrestling Entertainment Update: August 16th, 2010 Edition Update
Just one update for today. WWE decided to go with Breaking Point since they had plans some feuds that would not be stretched into NOC. But since it's been changed, expect a night on both shows where the respective brand shows have all titles on the line.

- I really like your McMahon's against Triple H feud that is heating up! My only big nag about the opening promo was "Triple H said - - - -. Triple H said - - - -." Maybe instead you could use a semi-colon combining the sentences or simple change "Triple H says/said to He shouted, he demanded .. ect. Just a suggestion! - Batista beating Mark was a good call - Jeff Hardy and Natalya winning was an interesting spin; I personally thought Luke and Serena would win. - I also noticed you don't seem to use a lot of diva's? I am a big diva fan but I'm fine with seeing Natalya and Serena - maybe a feud there making Natalya "straight edge" hmm? - I was going to say having the McMahon's loose via DQ didn't seem like a good enough closure for the night but I was glad to see "Sons Collide" match! - I really enjoy your impression on RAW!!

- Good opening with Triple H/Sheamus/McMahons. The 6 man tag and HHH/Shane sound solid. - Good match and Bourne getting a US Title shot is great. Title vs. Briefcase stipulation only makes the match better. - Batista qualifying for the Scramble Match is solid. - Orton qualifying is good and all. but I think this should've main evented. - Kane qualifying is also good. Wouldn't have minded Jackson being in there though. - Hardy and Natalya winning is good. Exciting to see Jeff back in the title picture - HHH/HD winning via DQ was probably the best way to go. Mysterio making the save is good though. - Great Raw. Breaking Point looks solid so far.

WWE NXT l August 17th, 2010 l Los Angeles, CA
-A promo hypes last week with Percy Watson being eliminated.
The usual pyrotechnics blast from the arena before Todd Grisham and Josh Mathews welcome us to WWE NXT. They remind us that last week, Percy Watson was eliminated. Tonight on NXT, we are going to have a Five-Man Battle Royal involving the eliminated NXT Rookies.
Matt Striker welcomes us to NXT as he stands in the ring. He says that these next three weeks are going to be the most intense of all. On the September 7th, edition of NXT, we are going to have double winners. One star will be eliminated and the remaining two will go to RAW or SmackDown. Tonight on NXT, since Lay-Cool cannot compete against males, Kaval will take on Alex Riley and we are going to see Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty taking on Season 1 Winner, Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett to reunite feud. And coming up next, we are going to have our Eliminated NXT Rookies Battle Royal.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Percy Watson wins the Eliminated NXT Rookies Battle Royal 6:15 Husky Harris won the last Battle Royal contested under pre-eliminated rookies match. Percy Watson who was eliminated last week was half serious and half the fun charismatic guy we all enjoy to watch. The first elimination came when O'Neil shoulder blocked Cottonwood to the outside. Cottonwood got angry and clotheslined O'Neil over the ropes and left. Harris was too distracted about that and Cannon and Watson eliminated him. Immediately after that, Watson eliminated Cannon with a clothesline.
Percy Watson celebrates his victory. The commentators put over how Percy is the most popular NXT Rookie on the show. He leaves with some of the other eliminated NXT Rookies angry on the outside.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Matt Striker is standing on the stage alongside some of the other NXT Pros. They all give their input on who they want to win this contest. And as usual, The Miz gives an answer not to many people like. John Morrison was triggered and they had an arugment on the stage that turned into a brawl. Striker looked on confused on what to do, but none the less, it's time for our next match which is Michael McGillicutty and Kofi Kingston taking on Season 1 Winner, Wade Barrett and his Pro, Chris Jericho.
Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty (7-4) defeated. Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett 5:47 This was an extremely back and forth contest that wasn't very long. Jericho and Kofi went back and forth with some major chain wrestling. Kofi hit the Boom Drop and tagged in McGillicutty. McGillicutty did good until the more expirienced Jericho pulled McGillicutty off the top rope. Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Kofi gave Jericho a Trouble in Paradise on Jericho and then Barrett came and took out Kofi and himself over the top. McGillicutty covered for the victory.
McGillicutty and Kofi celebrated their victory in the ring. Jericho and Barrett slowly made their way up the ramp.
Teddy Long has announced that due to the argument between The Miz and John Morrison, they will settle their differences this week on SmackDown. And if Morrison wins, he gets a shot at the IC Title. Miz wins, Morrison cannot challenge for the IC Championship as long as Miz holds it.
-------------------- Commercial Break --------------------
Kaval (7-4) defeated. Alex Riley (8-3) 6:36 A rematch from last week here as the two heated rivals locked horns in a back and forth battle. Kaval, who gets many praises of wrestling like Rey Mysterio and Alex Riley who wrestles alot like his pro, The Miz. Anyways, this battle went back and forth and Riley almost made Kaval "Hit the Showers" but Kaval hit a hurricanrana for a phenomenal spot and finished Riley off with Warrior's Way for the win.
Kaval celebrated his victory over Alex Riley. He celebrated in the ring alongside Lay-Cool as NXT goes off air.

-The opening segment was interesting for sure, like the Shane/HHH stuff -Bourne getting a shot at Breaking Point is fine, but I've seen this feud in so many 2010 diaries -Figured Batista would beat Henry to get into the Scramble Match -Kind of pointless to have Punk in a qualifying match. What would've happened if he won? -Not a big fan of Kane over Ezekiel since young guys can get a chance in Scramble Matches -Like Natalya teaming with Jeff for tonight and him getting into the Scramble is great -Ending the main event in DQ was the right move, looking forward to HHH/Shane at Breaking Point
Decent episode of Raw, but it featured some decisions I rather dislike.

RAW : -Great opener with HHH/McMahon's. The 6 man tag should be good. -Bourne winning over Ryder is great for a title shot. For both the briefcase and title makes it a more interesting stip. -Batista qualifying over Henry is a good choice. -Orton over Punk is good. Punk trying to stop Orton to advance is good as well. -Kane qualifying over Zeke is good. Zeke being in wouldn've bothered me. -Hardy and Natalya winning for Hardy to qualify is great. -HHH and HD winning by DQ is good. Mysterio saving them is good as well.
NXT : -Watson winning the Battle Royal is good. -Kingston and McGillicutty over Barrett and Jericho is great. It makes McGillicutty look great. -Kaval over Riley is a nice call. Overall, solid shows.

WWE Superstars August 19th, 2010
