My collection is getting bigger. They are small but great figures.

I love the Mattel figures , I have every basic & Elite out (except Elite3) . I do not plan on stopping anytime soon . The only gripe i have is the distribution , but its probably the stores fault .

Yes, I think they're amazing. They have the look and feel of a real collectors item if you ask me. The fully detailed outfits and great selection of superstars has been great. I also LOVE the display stands.

Everything except distribution. But that's more to do with the various stores. With the exception of a case of Basics Series 2 my area WalMarts never seem to carry the Basics.

Yes, I'm impressed with them. However, the 2 major negatives that I have with the figures are distribution and loose ankles. Distribution is absolutely horrible.

love em, didn't think i would nearly love them as much as i do when i saw the pictures initially. The distribution sucks like everyone said, and i agree some of the ankles are a little loose (my elite Batista and Takers are terrible) but besides that these figures have really gotten my excited about collecting unlike Jakks ever did.

I like it a lot and I see no problem with the distribution. Hopefully they keep making them as detailed as possible.

When the protos first came out, I wasn't happy cause a lot of them looked like crap but it wasn't until I had bought that I realised that they were awesome figures, love the attention to detail as well. As for the distribution, NZ missed out on Elite 1, Basic 1 and 2 and Tag Series 1 and 2 which I was gutted about since I wanted CM Punk.

I'm very happy with the Mattel line. They've done an outstanding job on everything. Like others have already said distribution seems to be the only problem.

i have become such a mattel mark it's sick. when the jakks contract was up, i had two buddies who i saw all the time who also collected jakks. they both swore off mattel from the get-go. i thought i was through too, but i had fallen prey to my obsession/addiction to figs. but the truth is that the mattel figs DWARF the jakks figs in all areas (minus headscans - which JAKKS didn't get right for YEARS, so give 'em some time, they'll get better, i swear.)
but really, the only problem i have with collecting in 2010, is that, well, there seems to be a lot more people out there snatching EVERYTHING up! scalpers are everywhere and figs are just getting more and more expensive. i think i'm going to take a little break for now, and whatever i do buy, i'm just gonna order. fig-hunting as proven to be too much of a distraction in my everyday life, and i'd rather just pay the extra couple bucks plus shipping rather than spend weeks searching the same stores over and over again only to be disappointed.
sorry i vented more than i should have there... just started typing and here we are. why are you still reading. the post is over... go on! read the next guys's shtuff!

Love them. I collected Jakks from Superstars 1 until the end but Mattel is on another level. Elite is the greatest wrestling figure series ever.

Distribution in my area of Pennsylvania is horrible. My Walmart is going on 3 weeks with nothing cept Cryme Time on the shelf and occasional single flex force. Target has been the only place with anything current. Kmart was the best when things first came out. Just to show Jakks issues , 2 cases of UFC 1 and 2 have been on shelves for 2 weeks with NONE Sold. The balloon heads are awful , figures are nice but I hate the heads.
