God that is why this place is crawling with idiots! And yet, of all the idiots, you are the one that stands out as the biggest. I am done with this thread. I like how you said this then made another half-dozen posts crying about how it's unfair that people want a Shawn Michaels figure more than a Ted Arcidi figure. Grow up, dry your eyes and get some professional help. Or at least delete your membership. It'd be more constructive than coming here just to complain that John Cena's more popular than Jim Powers. But I do enjoy laughing at your displays of wild idiocy, so feel free to carry on. Whether you continue to post your tantrums or have a childish "I'm leaving" fit, nobody cares about your OCD desire for figures of bland 1980s jobbers. If Mattel make one now and again, fine. But it seems like everybody else here besides you understands why HHH is a higher priority for wrestling figures than Frankie Williams.

But it seems like everybody else here besides you understands why HHH is a higher priority for wrestling figures than Frankie Williams. First of all I don't consider ANY wrestler who wrestles on the GRANDEST stage of them all...WRESTLEMANIA a Jobber. So sorry you have so little respect for those fine athletes. Apparantly Vince the guy that sees so much in Cena ALSO sees something in those legends. Arcidi was at WM2. That makes him worthy in my opinion. Why is HHH a high priority for you IF you already have multiple versions of the figure? Believe me IF HHH was never made don't you think I would be asking for one? But he has been made hasn't he? TO DEATH I might add. It's not unfair they want Shawn before Ted...THEY HAVE SHAWN! For crying out loud weren't you reading? Shawn has had figures for years. Do you understand? I think you could fill a small country with HBK figures that have been put out. What I don't understand is WHY people are asking for MORE. Doesn't that seem in the least idiotic to you?

The bottom line is there will always be repaints whether you like it or not. Besides the fact that Vince wants his main guys out there...so do the toy stores. And Mattel/Jakks or any other company will release them because they are the money makers and they know there's way more wrestling fans out there than the members of this site...with new ones coming every day. They aren't going to say "We made Cena already let's pass on another in favor of a (fill in the blank)." No they are going to make it because they know people are out there who will want their first one. If they didn't keep releasing guys like HHH, Cena, Orton, Taker, HBK, Rey, Batista, Jericho the line would die very quickly.
I know I've read posts where people have said if they can't find it at retail it doesn't exist for them and others including myself say I won't go to ebay for figures. Well those 2 statements right there say why there's a need for repaints. People want to find them in the stores and not be told "They made him already" or "Your best bet is to go to ebay to find one." I know if my daughter was just getting into Littlest Petshops for the first time and wanted the pony I'd hope they'd be rereleasing one because I don't want to spend double or triple the retail price because it's no longer made. Nor would I want to get her a loose one from ebay where God knows what was done to it before hand. I want to be able to walk into a store and find her a brand new one even if it's been released 4 or 5 times. And I'd bet most parents are like that with any toy line.
Nobody is holding guns to our heads telling us we have to buy the repaints...So all we can do is buy the figures we like and pass on the ones we don't want. And if they are going to make repaints no matter what we say why not ask for one that you'd like on your shelf more than the one that's out there already?

Childish rants? You mean what I am saying is not logical? How MANY HBK figures will it take for YOU to be satisfied? Is that a rant? Looks like a question to me. Bret Hart is my all time favorite wrestler....Let's see...How many do I have? The LJN version. The Toybiz version with the loose arm, and the Classic Superstar version. Hmm...That's three. Mattel has made 3 HBK's yet you want more. I do NOT see the logic in that. I would buy a Mattel version of Bret Hart but alas, I would buy JUST ONE. I wouldn't be asking for 7883 MORE versions of him to be made. I would just want the one. I mean wouldn't you think I was an idiot if I asked for a Mattel HHH and why wasn't there one? When you KNOW Mattel just released one? Just to correct you on your math: EG HBK 2 Pack Series 1 Variant Series Elite 3 Basic 4(?) Superstar Match Ups So yeah there are 6 HBK's that have been released (or will be released soon)

Bane, you fail to see that this is a wrestlemania 26 suggestion thread....it would make no sense for mattel to release a Dino Bravo or someone like that in this set...considering they had NOTHING TO DO WITH WRESTLEMANIA 26...So by that it makes sense to ask for an HBK
Also, you need to get over this and understand 3 things...first of all, not everyone has the same opinion as you, AND THAT IS OK! (shocking, i know)
second, pretty sure mattel doesn't use this board exclusivly to decide what figures to make
and 3rd, who is the WWE's target audience? its the pg era, so kids. If I'm 10, and I see some 80's guy on the shelf, or a HHH, HBK, or John Cena, who do i want my parents to buy?
I'm all for getting new guys in mattel form, but please understand Mattel is a buisness and it makes no sense for them to release a complete sereis of guys from the 80's
also, quit referenceing jakks releasing characters. I will not buy another jakks wrestler. Scale is important to me, and mattel has it, therefore, jakks wwe figures do not factor into my decsions

The um...10 year old doesn't have the faintest idea who the Road Warriors are now does he? So I ask you...WHO are the legends made for then? PJ, I understand what you are saying. What I don't understand is why people on THIS board request figures they already have. We know Mattel IS IN TOUCH with this board. So when they actually see suggestions for more HBK figures what do you think goes through their minds? Myaddow, Then that proves my point even more. If we have 6 figures already since Jan, why ask for more. And although the thread says WM26, it ALSO says Elite 5,6 making it not an exclusive wrestlemania 26 thread. P.S. I would be just as adamant say about Spiderman. I know the toy companies are going to make MUCHO of him but what I don't get it is when fans actually request the figure acting like they have never seen one before.

K, so go to the legends line and suggest the Dino Bravo or whomever there. Thats where those types of people belong, not in a Wrestlemania 26 set. the Legends line is geared towards collectors and adults, so I have no problem with you saying you want Roma, or Herc, or hell even Dink in that line. and you read the title wrong. It says 5TH and 6TH WRESTEMANIA 26 ideas...meaning we know we are getting 4 elites from WM 26, who should be the other 2? and regardless, Legends belong in the LEGENDS line, (which will be elite) and stars of today belong in the normal Elite line and, the point you keep leaving out in every response is that THESE ARE ALL OPINIONS. My opinion is different than yours. That's OK, it doesn't make either one of us wrong. My opinion is that there should be an HBK in the WM26 series, yours is that there shouldn't be. That doesn't make either one of us idiots. What happens though is that you belittle everyone who doesn't agree with you...that makes you come across as a tool

When you think of Star Wars what do you think of? Luke maybe? C3PO? But you know what? People are NOT requesting them. Why? Because they have been done to death. The Star Wars fans are requesting the aliens you see for 1 second on screen. That makes more sense to me. Why? There are thousands of lukes. That's why. But Star wars surrounds those characters. right? Same principle applies here.

Star wars revolves around the Skywalker family right? You say Wrestling revolves around Shawn Micheals right? But hasbro doesn't put luke in every single wave. They make characters who only appeared briefly in the movies. right? Fans actually ASK for this. Got it so far? Ok...Fans are NOT asking for Luke are they? Star wars fan poll for action figures...Luke has not been there in years. So........The Star Wars fans are better than the fans here. Why? If the Star Wars fans were here and just as fanatical about wrestling as Star Wars then they would NOT be asking for Shawn Micheals. They would be asking for characters that had very little screen time...Big Bully Busick or others would be at the top of their list. Do you see my point? Why would a Star wars fan ask for Luke OVER AND OVER again if he has already been made so much of. Believe me Luke has not been overlooked. Luke is just like HBK in that regard.

Budget mostly. The WWF just happens to be my first passion. My point is that the fans for Star Wars are much more interested in seeing the ENTIRE universe done. WWF fans not so much. They want 453466 versions of HBK rather than all characters done. Maybe just MAYBE they will grow to have some taste over time. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

However....This is where to discuss them right? At the wrestling forum? Like I said Star Wars fans want the entire universe done. Not so with "fans" of the WWF. They are the ones that vote Showmiz as the best tag team ever in wrestling on WWE.com...

My vote would go for The Dudley Boyz, with Road warriors a close second...showmiz isn't even a real tag team
