Anyone else have this problem? I have all the 2 packs and singels of Basic and have only a handful if any loose joints but the Elites i have series 2 HHH, Orton and R truth with R truth having a loose hip and HHH having a loose foot. Anyone else having a lot of loose joints with their Elites?

Loose ankles are the only problems I've had with my Elites so far.
Elite 1 Edge Elite 1 Undertaker Elite 2 Triple H Elite 3 Cody
These figures have a somewhat difficult time standing up, but right now I have them all in their display stands standing up.
The good news about the Mattel ankles is that even when they are loose, they will only go so far forward, so if you lean the figure forward it won't topple over. I've only had them topple over when they fall BACKWARD.

This is exactly why I prefer basics over elites.
When I buy a figure, I dont want to worry about it being flimsy.

I have every Elite released from Series 1-3 (Two of each except for Santino, Rey, Miz, Hardy & Truth which are only one each) And only on my 2 Christian figures. They have loose hips, but it doesn't affect them from standing at all. Both have been standing perfectly in my displays since I purchased them.

I have some slight problems with my Elite 2 R Truth and Elite 2 Matt Hardy.
Truth has a loose joint in the torso area and Hardy had a loose ankle.
I know many Elites have a loose ankle joint problem, though.

Elite 1 Undertaker has loose ankles Elite 2 Batista and Matt Hardy have loose ankles....especially Hardy So far I have no issues with Elite 3. On a side note,Elites are not the only ones to suffer from the ankle problem. Both my WM Heritage Orton and Edge are constant pains for me. Orton so much so that I just gave him to my 4 year old son to batter in his Breakdown ring.

I was just about to start a topic on this issue actually. I've had the problem a lot lately, with elite Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Santino. Very frustrating. When you pay $15 for a figure, he should be able to stand up (even the Michaels doesn't stay up when I put it on the stand). Is the ankle articulation that important? I'd much rather go without it so the darn things could stand up straight.

Id also like to mention that my Elite John Cena.... 1 of his ankles doesn't move at all.

I think its the way they pose them in the box. Most of the Basics are just standing and the Elites are somewhat posed so i think that could be the reason why.

I have every Mattel Elite Loose and the only problem i have is a loose ankle that causes some balance issues with my series 2 Batista

The only issue I have so far with my Elites is with John Cena having silver paint on its chest from the dog tags...speaking of which is there a way to remove the silver paint without damaging the figure?

While you have loose joints problem,i dont. But my complaint is that on most of my basics and elites, the torso's arent glued proper, with noticeable gaps, and seem to be fragile.

the elites i have arent that bad when it comes to loose ankles but i was thinking to fix the problem i would switch the boots from basics for example: I have Elite HHH loose ankles, I would replace the boots from elite to the Basic 1 HHH's boots and put in on Elite HHH. I mean its good and same scale. same with randy orton series 3 boots to elite orton.
