The LHW division is such a revolving door of champions. I got a laugh out of someone referring to the belt as "cursed" because the tortured soul (more likely the tortured fighting ability) of Chuck Liddell is stuck inside the belt.
If Shogun lost his first title defense it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
No disrespect meant to Shogun, just that the LHW division hasn't had a dominant champion for ages.

This was posted by someone on Sherdog, lol.. Guys, leave Koscheck alone. As you can see in the GIFs above, the knee hit him directly in the hair. You can even see some strands move as the knee passes through the fragglefro.
Now, i'm sure most people reading this forum have, at one time in their lives, had their hair pulled. It is NOT a pleasant feeling. It is irritating and sometimes painful. Just because Josh Koscheck is a professional fighter doesn't mean he is suddenly immune to the pain of hair pulling.
We all know Kos has a flair for drama. Even when he gets knocked out, he does a slow-motion movie death type fall and freezes for a few seconds before slowly collapsing onto his back.
So it is my theory that all we saw Saturday night was a combination of a brutal hair pull, and Koscheck's dramatic skills taking over. Sure, the squinting of his right eye and asking the ref "what happened?" as if he was dazed and didn't know what was happening seems completely ridiculous for a knee that missed him, but why don't you let your little sister pull your hair and see how you feel. You will probably be disoriented and pretend to have an eye injury as well.

To me it looks like it gazed the forehead. Just like the sucker punch, weather it connected or not, it was still wrong.

On another note, look how sloppy that "punch" Koscheck tried to give Thiago. Terrible.

After finally watching the event, I have to give kudos to Kimbo for that ing slam, and then I have to take the kudos away and give them to Matt for reversing it and getting on top.

The slam probably cost Kimbo a lot of gas in the tank.

The slam probably cost Kimbo a lot of gas in the tank. Oh, I'm sure it did. Beyond that, He looked pretty lost in there most of the time.
