Marlena and Freddy Joe Floyd as a couple is just a priceless image. Haha, yeah I thought I'd throw in one of those rumours from the game every week. I usually get one about Ahmed Johnson stalking Sunny or Chyna

Monday 14th April 1997 Jesse James vs. Rockabilly In a rematch from Shotgun, Jesse James took on Rockabilly, again picking up the win. Honky Tonk man climbed onto the apron in an attempt to distract the referee, Jesse James noticing this, Irish whipped Rockabilly into him, the collision sent Rockabilly to the mat and The Honky Tonk Man into the crowd barricades. James picked Rockabilly off the mat and hit the Pump Handle Slam and made the cover. With Jesse James making his way backstage, Honky Tonk Man tried helping up Rockabilly who pushed him away and stormed off back up the aisle on his own.Winner: Jesse James via pinfall. The Road Warriors call out The British Bulldog and Owen Hart The Road Warriors called out the WWF Tag Team Champions and provoked them into a rematch after labelling The Bulldog and Owen cowards for getting themselves intentionally counted out last week. Owen Hart offered the excuse that they had not warmed up for the match correctly and could not risk injuring themselves! The champions accepted the challenge for a rematch tonight.Can-Am Express beat The Headbangers In a good display of ability, The Can-Am Express defeated The Headbangers. Phil LaFon locked Mosh into the Dragon Sleeper while Doug Furnas restrained Thrasher from breaking up the submission hold to pick up the win.Winners: The Can-Am Express via submission.Bart Gunn vs. Rocky Miavia Rocky Maivia took on the veteran Bart Gunn in this non title bout. Gunn gave a good account of himself but was ultimately outclassed by the Intercontinental Champion who delivered the Samoan Drop before pinning him for the win. Again, Maivia received a smattering of boos from the crowd despite being one of the ‘good guys’.Winner: Rocky Maivia via pinfall. The Road Warriors vs. The British Bulldog and Owen Hart The Road Warriors took the fight straight to The Bulldog and Owen as they did last week, though this time the champions were a lot more focused on the match in hand. After some back and forth action, all four men found themselves in the ring, with Owen Hart and Hawk being the legal men. Hawk sent The British Bulldog to the outside while Animal set up Owen for the Doomsday Device, Hawk ascended the top rope and prepared to deliver his half of the double team move when The Bulldog struck him with one of Owen’s Slammy awards resulting in a disqualification. Although they had intentionally lost the match, Owen and The Bulldog retained the titles, much to the anger of The Road Warriors and the WWF fans.Winners: The Road Warriors via disqualification.Mankind Promo Mankind explained to the WWF audience exactly why he resorted to throwing a fireball into the face of The Undertaker two weeks ago. Mankind wanted The Undertaker to feel the same pain that he has felt during his professional wrestling career, referring to the Japanese death matches he once took part in. He went on to say that their match at In Your House would not be for the faint hearted. Ahmed Johnson vs. Savio Vega A determined Ahmed Johnson started the match off well knowing that he must beat Savio Vega tonight in order to move onto the next stage of the gauntlet. Despite The Nation of Domination trying to use intimidation tactics by coming out during the match to surround the ring, Ahmed managed to pick up the win after delivering the Pearl River Plunge. With the match finished, JC Ice, Wolfie D and D-Lo Brown attempted to get into the ring though Ahmed managed to fend them off while Faarooq and Crush watched on from a safe position up the ramp, Faarooq clearly not happy with his defeated members of The Nation. Ahmed grabbed a microphone and taunted Faarooq, telling him that “one down, two to go”.Winner: Ahmed Johnson via pinfall. The Hart Foundation attack Steve Austin Steve Austin is in the ring being interviewed by Vince McMahon. Austin lets everybody know exactly what he thinks of Bret Hart which prompted The Hitman to make his way down to the ring with Owen and The Bulldog in tow. After being taunted by Austin, Bret and The Hart Foundation went on the attack, beating Austin down and leaving him writhing on the mat.Ken Shamrock vs. Mankind Mankind proved to be tough competition for the world’s most dangerous man as Shamrock’s arsenal of submission holds seemed almost ineffective as Mankind would not submit. Mankind managed to snatch the bout from his opponent when he distracted the referee, allowing Paul Bearer to use the urn on Ken Shamrock, who then staggered straight into double armed DDT. With the match over and Mankind and Paul Bearer about to make their way back up the ramp, the arena lights went out while the Titantron played over flickering images of The Undertaker and a graveyard, The Undertaker’s voice over chillingly told Mankind that at In Your House, he would “open the vault of souls and unleashed an army of demons” on him. Raw is War went off the air with Mankind and Paul Bearer watching over their shoulders, expecting The Undertaker to make an appearance. Winner: Mankind

-Jesse James beating Rockability is fine. Good call. -Can-Am Express beating Headbangers is great. Hope they have a good push. -Rocky beating Bart is good. Rocky should get a main event push. -Ahmed Johnson is a good superstar. Hope he can win a mid-card title. Look forward to see. -Ken Shamrock beating Mankind sounds like a great main event. Glad Shamrock won.
-Good show. Very realistic.

Marlena and Freddy Joe Floyd as a couple is just a priceless image. Haha, yeah I thought I'd throw in one of those rumours from the game every week. I usually get one about Ahmed Johnson stalking Sunny or Chyna The sad part is I feel like that could make a good angle Jesse James taking on and defeating Rockabilly seems like a respectable way to kick off the action for tonight. I am really hoping to see the Road Warriors defeating the Bulldog and Owen as I really feel Owen could work so well as a top heel of the company. Can-Am Express defeating the Headbangers seems fine to me. Rocky defeating Gunn is good as it is obvious who the future star out of that duo is. The Road Warriors winning by disqualification is a solid way to continue that feud. I like Mankind reminding everyone he threw a fireball in the Undertaker’s face. I always adored the Mankind-Undertaker rivalry and it seems you are booking it correctly. Johnson defeating Savio Vega makes sense as you need to continue that feud, although I am not a fan of any of the men involved in the feud. I like Bret and family attacking Austin as it really adds heat to the fire between Austin and Bret. I love the undertaker’s promo and it seems that Mankind and Paul Bearer solid it perfectly.

WWF Shotgun Saturday Night: Saturday 12th April 1997...Hmm, decent win for PG-13 over Adam Copeland and Christian Cage; the former Suicide Blondes. Considering Adam just got a win last week in his debut on this show though, it seems bad for JC Ice and Wolfie D to get the win over somebody who is on the rise. Plus it is a bad start for Christian. Leif Cassidy beating Freddy Joe Floyd is fine, and Crush beating Bart Gunn. Gunn isn't that important anymore, hasn't been since the Smoking Gunns disbanded. Neither has Rockabilly, though; like you are following that feud situation with Jesse James beating Rockabilly. RAW is WAR is hopefully on the rise in the Monday Night Wars with Monday Nitro, and haha; Goldust must be pretty upset about Marlena getting with Freddy Joe Floyd whilst married to him.
WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 14th April 1997...Hmm, slightly weak opening contest if you ask me, with Jesse James beating Rockabilly in a complete rematch from this past Saturday at Shotgun Saturday Night. Honky Tonk Man causing Rockabilly anger makes things interesting though. I wonder if you end up going along with the idea of the New Age Outlaws. The Legion of Doom [not the Road Warriors] calling out the British Bulldog and Owen Hart is sweet, as the WWF Tag Team Championships were stuck on Davey Boy Smith and Owen without any other credible tag team to lose the belts to. The Can-Am Express; ah, Phil LaFon and Doug Furnas. A good team but yet another weak bout here on RAW. The Headbangers weren't the worst competitors in the world either, they were just given terrible personas. There sure is plenty of matches being thrown down, with rare interview segments and whatnot. Rocky Maivia beating Bart Gunn was likely, Gunn hasn't been on the rise since the Smoking Gunns ended; just wondering what you're to do with the WWF Intercontinental Champion. With not long until In Your House, Rocky needs something to do. Hawk and Animal beating Davey Boy and Owen by count out is the best solution and can carry things on into In Your House. Mankind's promo was pretty heated, liking his explanation of the fireball to The Undertaker; however after their encounter for the WWF Championship at In Your House, I hope we won't see Mankind face 'Taker for a while. Ahmed Johnson eliminates Savio Vega from the situation with the Nation of Domination; like it and it gets Ahmed over. The Hart Foundation attacking Stone Cold Steve Austin was interesting, but Bret Hart wasn't so made up with the anti-American Hart Foundation stable yet. Surprised that LOD didn't make the save for Austin, to be honest; since Davey Boy and Owen were involved. Could have led to a solid six-man tag team main event for next weeks' RAW. Lastly, great win for Mankind against Ken Shamrock, though Shamrock would be slightly green in the ring. A decent show, but really it was a leap down from how good the first episode was. The layout is a bit improved though; I like your brief descriptive layout, very old-school for simmers.

Thanks for the feedback, but just as a note, In Your House won't be taking part when it should, stupidly, I didn't check the PPV dates on the game and just went ahead and realised something didn't add up, so a couple of PPVs will be on the wrong date, but from July, they will be running correctly. I know, amatuer mistake!

Wow, it's been a while. Came across my Word document with this diary... Monday 21st April 1997 The Headbangers vs. The Godwinns The Godwinns showed some good team work through out the match by keeping Mosh in their side of the ring, tagging in and out to take turns wearing him down. Mosh was eventually able to make the tag but Thrasher was unable to make much impact on the match before being hit by the Slop Drop and being pinned by Henry O. Godwinn. Winners: The GodwinnsSteve Austin calls out Bret Hart Steve Austin made his way down to the ring, seemingly back to full fitness after the beating he took last week. Austin called out Bret Hart, calling him a coward for bringing The Bulldog and Owen to help him fight his battles. The Hitman left the call out unanswered and so Austin went backstage to find him instead. Jesse James vs. Hunter Hearst-Helmsley Hunter Hearst-Helmsley controlled the match right from the start with James only getting in minimal offence. Hunter wrapped the match up with a Pedigree before pinning Jesse James. As HHH was celebrating his win, Goldust appeared at ringside armed with a chair and chased him out of the ring. With HHH now in a safe position at the top of the ramp, Goldust grabbed a microphone and challenged the Connecticut blue blood to a match at In Your House saying that this match would be the ‘final cut’ and that there would be ‘no sequels’ as the two men aim to settle their differences once and for all. Winner: Hunter Hearst-HelmsleyAhmed Johnson vs. Crush Ahmed Johnson took on Crush in the second stage of a three part gauntlet. During the match, The Nation of Domination made their way down to the ring to enforce their usual intimidation tactics. JC Ice grabbed the 2 by 4 that Ahmed Johnson carries as an equaliser while D-Lo Brown climbed onto the apron to get the referee’s attention. Crush held Ahmed by the arms while JC Ice took aim and swung the piece of Timber at Johnson’s head. Ahmed ducked in time and Crush caught the full force of the blow, Ahmed knocked JC Ice off of the apron and made the cover, referee Tim White pushed D-Lo away and made the 3 count. The Nation members dragged Crush out of the ring and began carrying him up the ramp while Faarooq looked on in anger. Ahmed grabbed a microphone and taunted Faarooq telling him that he’d see him on Sunday! Winner: Ahmed JohnsonWWF Tag Team Championships The British Bulldog and Owen Hart vs. The Road Warriors The Road Warriors took on Owen Hart and The British Bulldog in a match very much the same as the previous two weeks. The WWF fans were all on the side of Hawk and Animal, feeling the same frustration and annoyance at Hart and Bulldog for their recent antics. During the match, Hawk made the tag to Animal, though the referee did not see it and so tried to send Animal back to the outside of the ring, this gave The Bulldog and Owen the opportunity to hit Hawk with The Bulldog’s European Championship belt, Owen rolled up Hawk to make the pin while Bulldog cut off Animal from breaking up the pin. The cheap win allows Owen and The Bulldog to retain once again. The Road Warriors are left in the ring fuming at what has happened. Winners: The British Bulldog and Owen HartGorilla Monsoon books a match at In Your House As the Tag Team Champions arrive backstage, pleased with their win, they run into the president of the WWF Gorilla Monsoon. Monsoon informs them that they will defend their Tag Team titles again The Road Warriors at In Your House with the stipulation that the titles can change hands due to a count out or a disqualification, meaning that Owen and The Bulldog will not be able to cheat their way to keeping the belts. Mankind promo Mankind blames The Undertaker for his loss last week and then calls him out telling The Undertaker that he will not fall for his mind games and that he is not afraid to face The Undertaker and does not want to wait for In Your House to do so. WWF Intercontinental Championship Rocky Maivia vs. Steve Austin In a highly entertaining match, Rocky Maivia certainly proved that he is no push over when it comes to taking on the big names in the WWF. Maivia and Austin swapped control of the match before Austin made use of his greater experience. Bret Hart then made his way down to ringside, Austin taking notice of this took his eyes of Maivia who was allowed a breather, Austin leant over the ropes and got in the face of the Hitman, after trading some strong words, Austin turned to back to the action inside the ring and was met by drop kick off the top rope by Rocky Maivia who made the cover and managed to get the pin. Rocky Maivia was announced the winner of the match, the crowd began booing in support of Steve Austin, Maivia was clearly taken aback by the response. Raw is War went off the air with Austin in the ring pointing towards Bret Hart, mouthing something that was not picked up by the microphones. Winner: Rocky Maivia
