Good, Daley was never gonna beat anyone with a decent ground game that is willing to use it. Plus he is a sore loser.

He'd fit right in at Strikeforce, with their post fight brawls. Unprofessional piece of crap.

Still waiting to hear thoughts from some of our uber-patriotic friends from the UK. They liked to pull the no-class card on Hendo when he shut Bisping up, but they also have proven they're not afraid to sound stupid to defend their fellow Brits.

Good. I'm glad. There's no place in MMA for the crap he pulled tonight. He should do that on the streets where he and Kimbo will end up after tonight. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I am adding more support to this thread for Dana's decision.
I think it really makes Strikeforce look bad, too, with their ridiculous "boys will be boys" attitude.

I agree with Dana's decision to cut Daley for this. However, it does expose a double standard that Nate Diaz kept his job for (in my opinion) a worse offense. If the reason is that Diaz acted like a thug outside of a UFC broadcast so it's OK, that's a very dangerous precedent.

Americans calling Brits uber-patriotic. Riiiight. And no, Daley was a dick tonight, and was rightly fired. I heard about it before I saw it, and thought it would of been a jab just after the bell, sort of a dick move that could be seen as an accident, but for Daley to walk straight up to him and hit him was out of order. And Hendo's still a c**t.

I'm a Brit & a long time fan of Daley from Cage Rage days but I was disgusted by his actions.
This sort of action plays into the hands of all those who want to dismiss this great sport as mindless thugs brawling.
After talking smack he got dominated & was frustrated but no excuse & this "I thought the fight was still going" is clearly BS.
With no TD Defence Daley would be run over by the top guys in the division Kos, Fitch & GSP. All Daley had left to offer was some entertaining brawls on undercards, Dana was right to sacrifice that by cutting Daley & deflecting away alll the negative press over the incident. Plus he gets to say thats how SF should have dealt with the recent incident.

Still, he shouldn't have done it in the first place, a very 'thug' thing to do.

I love that he claimed he "didn't hear the bell."
Even if he didn't hear the bell, clearly the referee is holding him back.

Classless act by Daley. But since he was throwing the cheap shot on Koschek, a master of them, all is forgiven.

No it's not. This was a blatant cheap shot AFTER THE FIGHT WAS OVER!
There is no excuse, and should be no forgiveness for it.
Dana did the right thing.

I can't say I'm against Dana on this one. Daley was in the wrong, & Dana is making an example of him.

Should've been fined and suspended only. White cutting him, is completely OTT - especially seeing as the shot didn't even make contact with Koscheck... he faked getting hit by that as well.

So he still ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing did it. If you shot someone and you missed, should you not go to jail? ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) no. That would would be attempted murder and your ass is in jail.

Should've been fined and suspended only. White cutting him, is completely OTT - especially seeing as the shot didn't even make contact with Koscheck... he faked getting hit by that as well. Doesn't matter if he connected or not. It was a reflection of how he handles defeat, severe frustration. He should've thanked Kos after the fight tbh. Why? Because guys like him that run guys like Daley over, make them better fighters. One dimention is NOT going to get you anywhere in todays UFC. It's why guys like Tito and Chuck can't buy a win these days, but Randy's still flying high. Kos faking the injury was puss move, totally. But that was in the first round. Daley got steam rolled for the entirety of the other two rounds. So it's not like the faking cost him the fight. Like Dana said, they're professional athletes. They're competing in a sanctioned sport. Doing things like that only add fuel to the fire of idiotic outsiders who crap on MMA anyway.
