beyondo, you are just coming off as immature and bitter. so what Tom misspelled your name? it is a simple typo, let it go. why cant you just accept the fact that you didnt place first in a non-existent contest? all you have done is pick fights and threaten to get people banned. what authority do you have? none. you took something that was kinda cool and turned it into a complete disaster because your precious ego was bruised. why dont you go to some other forum with your god-complex and leave everyone here alone. do us a favor, and get yourself banned. you made a shirt for kane and got in the top 5, i think that proves my point. get out of my board your board? your nothing more then an insignificant little worm. What have you done that merits any artistic measure besides a few custom plastic men? Nothing I'm willing to bet. I know more about art then you will EVER know. I've had customs on the KISS website, on Rob Zombie's website, I won an award for a custom at one of the east coasts largest conventions. I am a former tattoo artist. I designed a logo for NASA that went in space. I was nominated and inducted into the National Art Honor Society. What have you done? How about you get off of MY board! You know what makes this board great? It's all the hard work that so many do and show off. Yes, not every custom is a top notch job, but they are trying their best. It's the people like that, that keep customizing alive and fun. Douche bags like you, Beyondo, are what takes all the fun out of it. Why don't you and your little obedient lap dog delete yourselves and go to another forum. Yes you make good customs. Good, not great. There are much better then you out there, so get over yourself and shut your pathetic mouth. It is a real shame you weren't swallowed during conception. Tom, thanks for the compliments for my custom. Deep Freeze, you had an amazing custom and deserved to place first. It is a real shame that something that was meant to be fun turned into this. All because of one insignificant little worm... |

Pretty cool idea, some really great customs. The no1 warrior was phenominal, definetly deserved it IMO, the coat and general paintwork was fantastic. There should be one of these for the animation board...That would be awesome, please run one. I think the people who are crying over this competiton need to stop throwing their figures out of the pram.

beyondo, im not bragging and i am not a pro by any means. aside from saying "get off my board" and "ill get you banned" you have nothing to say. nothing. and i chose the kane because i felt i suit the criteria for the contest well. i have sculpted and painted many figs. i picked one that was simple and effective. you know nothing of my other customs or what ive done. one question and i hope you are able to formulate a real answer: what do you think makes you so great, that the entire board must bow down to you? tell all of us why you are as great as you think you are.

As someone who has done a little bit of customizing, I understand why the diehards think the only "good" customs are those that are completely sculpted, repainted, etc., but to an outsider, a figure with cloth clothing and minimal painting can be just as impressive.
The product is made by the customizers, but the target audience for this is definitely not JUST the customizing community.

Alright, take it for what it's worth, BUT these will never work with this format. It's kinda like that episode of Seinfeld were Kramer took took the Karate class with the little kids. You can't have "Lesser" experienced customizers going up against a person like "Beyond". It just makes no sense.
If you had people like FamousJ, Jay, Rome, Chinese Chicken,and Myself (shudder), it would make it more interesting. I realize that you can't force people to enter, but what's the point in having a printed duster pull a victory over a figure that has fully sculpted amour, a painted skin tone, and a lot more effort?
I hesitated to enter because well, ya know.... It wouldn't have been fair until Beyond entered. Then it was too late for me to put something together. I have a feeling some of the other "Heavyweights" have the same opinion.

Tom is not tolerating it! not even a second! if you've ever been to this board, you'd know that nobody gets along and it's just complaining and fighting. your mistake. i'm not complaining about results, i'm complaining about disrespect, RSD Tim. are famoozej and gatecityspinner going to be on the next one?  off, tim. we don't want your opinions about customs BEYOND......you need to come to the realization that you are not the almighty one. YOU do not own WFigs and have ZERO pull here. He made a mistake and apologized. Get over it. Tom's opinion on customs carries a hell of a lot more weight than yours. And dont worry about Gate City, he isnt wanted here and fails to come to that realization. He continually finds ways to return, I continually have him banleted and he isnt getting the message. So tell your little buddy to stay the hell off of WFigs and stop ripping off traders in the classifieds boards. BEYOND....you must be on some fascinating drugs to actually believe that any part of WFigs is YOURS. If you dont like how wfigs is run or the people in charge, you are free to delete your account and start your own customs board. No one is forcing you to come to WFigs and frankly, you would not be missed. |
