That Steiner figure is a nightmare, and I wonder what is wrong with the eyesight of anyone who thinks otherwise. Well, I may have to get my eyes checked out then, because I don't think it is all that bad. Actually, I kind of like it. I have seen alot worse..........

i agree with you sting, not sure what phunk is talking about but good thing for me that i dont care... honestly i agree with many that the screaming scan was a bit odd but when looking at this side by side my 20/25 vision says 95 percent right on the money:)

I think a lot of it has to do with the facial expression and the fact that his eyebrows seem to be painted a bit off and a little too dark.

I even love the colors of the attire. My biggest complaint is the length of the tights. I sure hope if released, they go with longer ones on the legs.

I kinda like this Scott Steiner and looks great for the era Jakks are going for. I think eveyone is still disappointed that the Scott Steiner doesn't match the Rick Steiner!

I don't even mind the facial expression, because Scott was very animated in the ring. After every suplex and Frankensteiner there was some sort of emotion from Scott. The only real issue I have besides the fact that it was dropped from Series 1 (and maybe the line) is the fact that the legs should be longer on the singlet and only the left side and leg should be white.

I know they did at Sumerslam 93 but I cant think of another time....although I know there was.

I can really only think of late WCW when they were wearing solid color singlets. They'd match the siglets and wear the opposite boots. If Rick had a black boot on his left and a white boot on his right Scott would have the black on his right and the white on his left.

I think thats the main reason people are giving it such crap... they are comparing it to his late WCW styled singlet rather then compared to that above pic hell i was guilty of thinking of his later singlets.. it fits perfectly now that i see that pic. Now i wish they woudl release it I want old school scotty with my rick!

The head scan is slowly working on me but its still not the era I want. It looks more like a picture above around 93 when he was in WWF. When I think NWA Scott Steiner I think of the flattop mullet that he had like with his Galoob figure. Also I dont care what anyone says, him not having Mr Perfects body is just fail.

I know of SS '93, SvS'93 and a few TV matches they had matching ones. Sure they had attires that would match, but they never really wore them at the same time. While, I think the scan it good and all, I'm still trying to work over the length of his singlet.

The way they are now is like the Hart Foundation Rick being as big as the Anvil (which he wasn't when they were in the NWA/ECW/WWF/WCW) and the Scott being the size of Bret. But when they were in those federations in their prime they were roughly the same with Scott being the bigger.

Why didn't they just make him like that??? That singlet, those boots and the same jacket that Rick came with. It's not terrible, but he (like Crush) is too small looking.

the figure is fine and I hope it is released. Maybe you guys would be happy if Steiner himself would just come over and sit on your shelf. Then you'd probably complain that Steiner himself has some minor inaccuracies.
It's better than a stupid ass custom figure that looks like Rick Martel wearing a singlet and a Michigan jacket

Make this, exactly like they look. Mr Perfect torsos/bodies. Just like that. Its simple, colorful and doesnt take a lot of detail for Jakks to bitch about "cost"......and it would by far be the best set of NWA Tag Team wrestlers we have.

I made mention of having to wrestle with LJN Dibiase in a full suit with a wad of cash in his hand. I made it work....why...because they were innocent toys back then and we had this old thing called imagination. It's not around anymore, kinda like Ny Seltzer, but we had it....and it was good.
