WCWA and Big Japan Wrestling Present WCWA & BJW When Worlds Collide 2Korrikean Hall in Korrikean, Japan Theme: "Set It Off" by P.O.DApril 8th 2006 WCWA World Television Title Match
Jimmy Jacobs (c) vs.
Beef WellingtonRegardless of the outcome of their upcoming No Rope Barbed Wire Death Match on Synthetic, the WCWA World Television champion will be appearing on the Japanese tour. Meaning, one way or another, the championship will be appearing as well. Furthermore, with this news, WCWA Senior Official Jason Verdoes passes down the news of the very first match for the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. For the WCWA World Television championship, one more time, Jacobs vs. Wellington. This is huge news because of how rare it is for a champion to have two title matches lined up in WCWA. Both wrestlers will also be appearing on the Revolution from Japan, against Japanese tour wrestlers. On the PPV, they will be the only WCWA vs. WCWA match. Razor Blade Board Death Match
Danny Havoc vs.
Jaki NumazawaFrom two different sides of the planet come two like minded individuals, two sick and sadistic bastards with the sole intent on destroying whoever placed in front of them, with no regard for their own well being. Big Japan Wrestling's Jaki Numazawa has proven he has no regard for his own body and the scars all over his body tell this story better than any words could. Here stateside, Danny Havoc has proven himself to be a total and complete sadist, going through three of the most brutally disgusting death matches at Dark Desires, in a losing effort to capture the King of the Deathmatches. At Open the WCWA Gate, these two men will do battle for the very first time anywhere in a first time match up for WCWA. An inhumane, sadistic, and perverse match.. The razor blade board death match. One on One Match
"The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs.
"The Living Dead" OnryuThey say the easiest way to gain notoriety is to call out the baddest man you can find. They also say it's 2006 and word spreads viciously fast through the internet. Onryu called out Shane Douglas on a recent DDT show and within a day, the word and subsequent video made it back to The Franchise, who took time off from his Synthetic announcing duties to formerly address the Japanese star. Douglas is FAR more than a broadcast journalist, a former ECW Heavyweight champion, WWF Intercontinental champion, XPW Heavyweight champion, WCW United States champion, and WCW World Tag Team champion, Shane Douglas has seen and done it all in professional wrestling. So for Onryu, what does he really expect to accomplish by calling out the foul mouthed color commentator of Synthetic? Well, if he can defeat The Franchise, he will have defeated a sure fire future Hall of Famer. And more importantly, he will have shown that his bite is much mightier than his bark. In 2006, can the Franchise say the same? WCWA Death Match Title Match 100 Light Tubes and Barbed Wire Boards MatchTakashi Sasaki vs. WCWA Death Match Champion Brain Damage Takashi Sasaki comes into Open the WCWA Gate with a heavy reputation of being a stiff fighter with little regard for his opponents well beings. Did I just describe Brain Damage? I think so! The Hardcore Terminator shows no intimidation and more often than not, shows no pain. He can take an unreal amount of punishment and in WCWA, has proven himself the top dog in deathmatches, winning the last King of the Deathmatches tournament by besting Necro Butcher, The Messiah, and Danny Havoc in destructive fashion. For Sasaki, this match is not just a chance to win his first deathmatch championship, but also a chance to become a highly paid WCWA wrestler. Should Sasaki beat Brain Damage, he will advance on to face Eddie Kingston at Sweet Dreams, to defend his newly won championship. One on One MatchEddie Kingston vs. Daisuke Sekimoto Eddie Kingston is long established as one of the baddest, toughest, and hardest hitters in WCWA. But on Open the WCWA Gate, he'll be facing someone who can strike just as hard, suplex just as viciously, and perhaps rivals the toughness of the King of Diamonds, as Eddie Kingston does battle with Daisuke Sekimoto. Sekimoto is known for having unrivaled brute force, his special move being a dead lift German suplex. For Eddie Kingston, this is a dream match, as he faces someone who embodies the Japanese strong style he's mimicked for his own career, the style of Genichryu Tenryu, Mitsuharu Misawa, and so many more of the 80s and 90s strong style revolution. Is this a dream match for Eddie Kingston or a nightmare? Hardcore Deathmatch One on One Match
Necro Butcher vs.
"Crazy Monkey" Jun KasaiA riddle for you. What do you get when you take the craziest, wildest, most insane and out of his mind wrestler from America and pit him in a match with no rules and weapons readily available with the craziest, wildest, most insane and out of his mind wrestler from Japan? Predictably carnage. This will be a fight. Plain and simple. Jun Kasai has built a reputation for himself as being deranged and out of his mind, with no regard for his own body and even less for his opponents.. The Necro Butcher, the West Virginia bar fighter, shares a similar attitude. Korrikean Hall will not be big enough to hold the action when these two wild men square off. One on One Match
Delirious vs.
Matt SydalMost of the WCWA wrestlers are absolute strangers to the wrestlers on the Japanese tour and have never faced off. This is not the case. Matt Sydal and Delirious have wrestled each other more times than they can more than likely count (though Delirious' ability to count at all is questionable) as they came up together in the St. Louis wrestling scene several years ago. This grudge match stems back to even before Delirious and Sydal were professionals and should be one for the record books.

WCWA Revolution #9: Open the WCWA Gate Ice Ribbon Arena Satiama, Japan April 7th 2006Not one, but TWO Japanese shows? That's the news out of WCWA Offices today, as WCWA Owner Dave Lenker, as well as senior talent coordinator "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, senior referee Jason Verdoes, and senior in charge of back breaking and bum f ucking the old country way The Iron Sheik held a meeting in Las Vegas today. Lenker said, "It is with great honor that we announce that the Open the WCWA Gate Pay Per View supershow will not be the only show WCWA does in Japan. At the Ice Ribbon Arena in Saitama, Japan, WCWA will broadcast the weekly show on Versus, Revolution, featuring talent from WCWA, Dragon Gate, Big Japan Wrestling, as well as Japanese independent wrestlers signed on. This will be revolutionary, because it will mark the third continent to host WCWA live television events. We at WCWA are VERY excited to be able to present this show to the Japanese fans, as well as the worldwide television audience". MAIN EVENT Six Man Tag Team MatchMasato Yoshino, Naruki Doi, & BxB Hulk (WORLD-1) vs. WCWA World Tag Team Champions Pac & Delirious (Aerial Assault) & WCWA World Heavyweight Champion Jack Evans In what is generally a stable of puroseu wrestling as a whole, a six man tag team match will main event the Revolution card from Satiama. The WORLD-1 trio representing Dragon Gate consider themselves the aces of Dragon Gate and generally the best team in wrestling today. Between possibly the fastest man in pro wrestling today Masato Yoshino, the dancing machine that is BxB Hulk, and the all around technical expertise of Naruki Doi, it's hard to argue. However, WCWA's golden trio of Jack Evans, Pac, and Delirious are doing just that and hope to silence the Japanese supergroup once and for all, live on Revolution! One on One Match
Danshoku Dino vs.
Eddie KingstonDino signed up for this tour because he's a comedy wrestler. He's a funny guy, in all honesty. He does a gay thing which despite the fact it's something he may enjoy WAY too much, is genuinely REALLY funny.. Unfortunately, there's people out there that don't like comedy wrestling and people who take professional wrestling VERY seriously. One of these people is "The Last of a Dying Breed" Eddie Kingston. Since he became a professional wrestler, Eddie Kingston has wanted one thing. To go to Japan. He grew up idolizing the likes of Misawa, Kobashi, and the gajins of the 90s. So for Kingston, to see someone like Danshoku Dino wrestling in Japan every week and in essence, pissing it away by acting (or over acting) gay, trying to molest opponents.. it's a slap in Kingston's face. And Eddie Kingston is not one to slap in the face. He tends to hit back and hit a hell of a lot harder. We're sorry, Dino. One on One Match
Yuko Miyamoto vs.
Jimmy JacobsOn the outset, you see two young men that look like they belong more as models for an ad for Hot Topic than as professional wrestlers, but looks can be deceiving. Jimmy Jacobs' boyish "emo" garb hides a psychotic and abused mind that presents a paramount of danger. Yuko Miyamoto, similarly, is a highly trained fighter, skilled in the martial arts and with cat like reflexes. On Revolution, it's a battle of the pretty boys. Yuko Miyamoto makes his American television debut against "The Artist" Jimmy Jacobs. Non-Title MatchWCWA World Television champion Beef Wellington vs. "One Silly Clown" Ebessan Flair vs. Steamboat, Hackenschmidt vs. Thesz, Gayda & Nowenski vs. Bradshaw & Stratus, Michaels vs. Hart.. these legendary matches, legendary wars of technical prowess.. Well, they have absolutely nothing to do with what will likely happen here, as the clown prince of WCWA, Beef Wellington, does battle with a literal clown in Ebessan. Two people who take wrestling very unseriously and take goofiness to the extreme.. Could Wellington have finally found someone goofier and sillier than he is? One on One Match Special Guest Referee: Shane DouglasMichael Nakazawa vs. "The Living Dead" Onryu In what could be a rough debut match for Onryu, he faces former WCWA World Television champion Michael Nakazawa. It very well could have been a fair fight, if the special guest referee wasn't his opponent for Open the WCWA Gate, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. After some of the derogatory remarks Onryu made recently about Shane Douglas, one HAS to assume Douglas will be calling this match swayed towards Nakazawa..

Breaking News: Chris Hero off the Japanese tour!
Due to a number of complaints filed to WCWA offices over the last two weeks, we regret to inform our Japanese fans that Chris Hero will NOT be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV or the Revolution card from the Ice Ribbon Arena. We apologize for this inconvenience and frantically working to shuffle the cards to bring you the best possible action with the wrestlers we have available to us.

Some great detail in this. It all flows extremely well and is definitely fun to read. I only have a problem because I don't know many of the wrestlers, but even still, the pictures helped me on that.

Wasn't excited at all for that match until I read the hype. Seems like it could be good if it's written correctly. I'm really excited, but I'm trying struggling to keep my expectation low so it'll seem that much better.

With the Japanese tour now upon is, cards have been finalized. Many people were announced, but somehow got lost in translation and did not end up on the final cards. Part of the reason of this is due to the death of JC Bailey, thus all of his booked matches being dropped. Another reason is because the cards were rebooked SO many times, that some matches and wrestlers just flat out didn't make the final cut. The rosters have been edited accordingly. I also cleaned up all the individual hype promos, so these threads don't look incredibly cluttered, and changed the titles.
