I've had a couple of big(ish) storylines in my time here. My first feud was this little mini program I did with Davey Sanchez way back when I first started. Looking back, I would have never beaten him, but it was fun to try and step up and beat someone that no one would've though I could have. Then I did something with a guy that probably no one remembers, Drake Legend. That was my first time writing a segment for a show, so it brought me to a new level of writing here, despite me still not being very good. That was my first win at a PPV and everything. Then I went away for a bit because I didn't feel like I was any good, because I was never winning. When I came back, I feuded with Valorie Evans, which was a lot of fun since me and him talk a little outside of WFWF. That soon morphed into a feud with Braden/Tabitha, which I had fun with again because I'm friends with Brad outside of WFWF. Then we tried the whole Mr Chicken Nugget/Miss Strawberry Milkshake thing, which ultimately failed but it was fun to try to attempt, as small of a part I played. Mini-feud with Flaps that amounted to a no-show win, and then I'm back to not really feuding with anyone again until Kyzer came back, which was pretty short in itself. This thing with Raider/Ripp/Thunder is the most legit thing I've had since then. I like having feuds, but there hasn't been anything for me that was really long and drawn out other than the Valorie/Braden/Tabitha feud that I had for a little while when I first came back. I hope for that to change as I improve, but who knows. I'm still not quite on the level as the top guys here, so we'll see what happens. I have seen some great feuds by people that were considered midcarders, not that I am implying you are a midcarder. It is all about the creativity you put into it and the effort you put into it. It also helps to work with people with an open mind. The most epic feud I ever had was in another fed where we started feuding after Kyzer destroyed this guy's beloved van. It last on and off for 2 years. It made my bones in that fed and had some very creative plot twist and turns to it. This guy was by no means the best, but he was creative as hell and fun to work with, that is how you have memorable storylines. I made my career here without a legit feud until Schneider. Flaps tried to set up a feud with me and Justin Tyme but he was a flake. The thing with Rev was a last minute change after SYE left as Jason Vieira. Nothing else was planned or mapped out around here.

I had a feud with ZMaster when he was a mod here, that really took me from bottom/mid card up a notch and I beat him at Superbrawl in his (first) retirement match lol. It all stemmed from me losing for the first time and writing in my RPs that I thought the owners had screwed me with a paid off referee. I continued to call out the owners in my RPs until they listened and I got my match with ZMaster. Interesting how I essentially created an angle that didn't really exist in anyone else's mind but it still got me the match I wanted in the end.
I then had a pretty awesome feud with Flaps where we had a series of segments f*cking with each other. Hell Drakz drove a tank through the arena wall and kicked the crap out of Johnny Michaels. This all lead to me losing my first Heavyweight Title match against him only to continue the feud and win the belt in some crazy four way cage match at the following PPV.
And now I'm feuding with Trace. I like angles, like Kyzer said I find it makes the whole thing more interesting when you're not just working one match followed by another. I like to have a direction and create a build to bigger matches, it helps me write because I feel there is more meaning to the match. Plus it usually makes me very competitive lol.

When I first started roleplaying it was down on the House Show's here, so I didn't have any kind of angle for a good while. My first one I believe was a solid lower midcard thing with Wez and Saku over the National title. I think it was then that I realized I enjoyed working on angles much more than I enjoyed just writing to win.
Since then there haven't been that many times when I haven't been involved in some kind of angle no matter how big or small it was. The most memorable for me have been with Alex Sean, because we're both focused creatively angle wise and came up with some nice back and forth, the period where I was the over the top heel owner, just because it let me play around more, Schneider, simply because of how heated that one still seems to be even though we're not involved in anything right now, and more recently Kyzer and Drakz because the challenge has helped me step up my game.
To be honest nowadays I don't really worry about the winning or losing as long as I'm involved in something interesting with someone who I can play off of, which is why I'm excited to keep pushing the Trace/ Drakz thing for a while longer.

To be fair, you were in mini-angles on the house shows. Everyone was, at least during the 9 months I was booking them. I distinctly recall a mini-feud between you and Bronx Bomber

To think, I completely ditched this place years ago because I felt overwhelmed of the style of writing here. I don't even remember if I even RP'd, and if I did it was just the one house show before leaving as unenthusiastically as I came in. That was back on my first account though.

I agree with everyone else in that being involved in feuds and angles is what makes people stay invested around here. When I first started out, my first real feud was with Ice Dogg over the International Championship. I went on to feud with Shape, who really helped me step my game up. After that, I went into ownership phases with Shape and Destroyer, moving into my biggest feud ever with Destroyer that lasted over 6-7 different matches over a 2 year span. Needless to say, I wasn't that great back then, but when I worked with those guys on AIM and through PM's, the result was satisfying, win or loss, because we mapped out where the storyline's would go and we made it fun. I don't like to be thrown into random matches. I like progression. My run here in 2006 was pathetic because I wanted to have a few feuds with friends that I kept in contact with over time, like Travis Hardison, but in the end we never committed to the workload so the owners kept booking me in matches where I was up against people I didn't know, and I didn't care about them. As the saying goes, my head was in it but my heart wasn't. The last match I had was against some unknown, Michael Kyzer. When I decided to come back in January I did my research, checked out the playing field, and realized that the competition now is better than I remember it being years ago, so I was up for the challenge. I also decided to change Raider's character. Raider was always the heel, drug abuser, 'don't give a f**k' mentality, and I saw that was being done so much already around here that I wanted to make Raider a face (and I don't like faces, so this was another obstacle). Before I had my first match, I was already planting the seeds for a rematch with Kyzer and potentially a match with Drakz, some type of storyline other than, "Hey guys, I'm back, book me." I knew it wouldn't be right away, but these guys were just getting hot when I walked away and I never got a real chance to face either of them. Same goes for Obo. Like Trace said, it's not about wins or losses to me, but being involved in a good, interesting story that pushes you as a writer to better your craft.

I've only had one storyline, and that was with Richard Wilkes. It's kinda hard with a title match every show.

To be fair, I try to build as many branching seeded feuds as possible, or at least have an understanding of how I would work with everyone in the fed, so that I COULD work with anyone

Just finished some of my RP and outlining what is going on with Raider over the next few shows now that we have an extra Loaded. I scrapped my original idea of having a series of RPs (this show would have been the 3rd in similar sub-stories, but I did keep a few ideas that still need to be explained) and I gotta say, things are looking pretty good. Excited for the next few shows.

One twenty page paper, one ten page paper, two five page papers and an RP all in the next week.
I didn't think booking myself this week through all that well it seems...

I like that rps are slowly trickling out. Makes it easier to contribute and offer a reply to every one.

Every time I sit down to write my rp I get distracted. The world doesn't want me to write. It is either that or I am smoking too much weed to stay focused.

I think it's pretty obvious which of the two of us is the hard working college student.

I work hard...just not at the most practical hours. It's the University of Chicago, I have to try to not worry about work SOMETIMES. If anything, I need to go to class slightly more.

I am the only one that would like to see a Cross/Nitta tag team? I feel like the conversations and interactions between the two would be some pretty good sh*t.. light-hearted, comical, Chicago-native bad asses running through the WFWF? Maybe?
