I totally would if I felt I was ready to not get completely slaughtered by you. The best way to get better is to face someone better than you. Reverend Shadow really came into his own when he faced me and he carried that over into more success, not that you know who that is. Don't be scared of what Obo could do to you. Just use it as motivation to write something great he didn't expect and pull out the upset. I always brought out the best of others when I rp'ed against them because I was the best here. Obo could help you pull out some great rps if you try. Wait wait wait, Phillip Schneider is Obo?

Obo could help you pull out some great rps if you try. I totally understand that, and agree. That's why I asked for the match with him a few weeks ago, which the RP I posted for that I felt was some of my personal better work. And yes, I do know who both you and Reverend Shadow are. I've been here longer than you think. I actually find myself agreeing with a lot of what you say since you've come around again, honestly. Specifically about feedback. I feel like I'm trying my hardest to improve, to only get "hey this was pretty good" as responses. It's kind of hard to get better when I don't know what I could be doing differently. And this is by no means a knock on the mods, that's just how I've been feeling, specifically since my National Title win. Just would be nice to get something more.

Well, it should be up to Horror and the owners to offer advice and help people out. Just giving the same, "it was a good monologue" doesn't teach anyone anything. I am positive Horror didn't get any better from crapadvice like that. And he was pretty bad when he started and isn't that bad now, so he should pay it forward or something like that. He might get shanked like Haley Joel Osment if he doesn't. why are you the only one that gets it? Because I am not an idiot.

I GIVE AND I GIVE AND Y'ALL JUST TAKE AND TAKE *cough* But yeah, I don't think I give great replies nor would I ever claim too. Considering my position I can't exactly just sh*t on RPs without killing morale, thus I have to try and find the balance between criticism while being diplomatic. I instead choose to name a show after cats while searching for funny cat pictures. [/ebr secrets]

and me, I can sh*t on things all I want, and the worst that happens is people say "wow, that dude's an ass hole". and anyone that's been around for more than a few weeks knows that already, so nothing changes.

I'm at the point where I will be floating around in one area if I keep the quality of my RPs where they are, and I don't want that. I want to be able to put up a good match against Schnieder, you, and Alex on any given week. You guys have told me before that I'm on that threshold, and I want to break through it and become one of those guys. If that takes getting crapped on, so be it. I'm sorry, this has been building for me for a few weeks. Minus one or two times, I haven't gotten true feedback for a long time. Looking back, it was April that was last time that I got something that was useful. I welcome the crapping is all I'm saying.

So....can I comment on something without people getting too, too offended? I mean this in the most constructive way possible...
...so I reenlisted in this whole shebang here at the public urging in the Lounge to draw in new membership. I hadn't done it in a while, and went back to something I'd established years ago as Chris Avalon. I set a story in motion then it fell flat. My bad. I let that writer's block get the best of me on BTDKYT, and I no showed. Again, my bad.
But equally, something struck me after the first show that ran while I was here - my character was haphazardly thrown into a run in segment, without any sort of notification or input on my part, and then characterized terribly. I suppose it'd be one thing if I'd gone out and said "Hey, have me run in on a match" and then offered zero input into the segment, but it just happened. There it is.
I'm not blaming my no-show on that, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth regarding the way things are done nowadays. Nevermind the fact that the show itself struck me as haphazardly thrown together. Matches pretty much read like two names were punched into a wrestling sim and the outcome was copied and pasted. "Both are circling. Wrestler X punches Wrestler Y. They exchange high flying moves. They tumble to the mat. Wrestler X gets the pin. Wrestler X wins.".
Maybe I'm just bitter, because when I was originally a part of this, it was really, really good and really, really fun. I'd like to come back. I'd like to start fresh with a new character. But I'd also appreciate a little consultation before any character I make is made to speak in a show segment. It had always been that way before, and the fact that it isn't anymore kind of stinks.
That's all. Hope I didn't ruffle too many feathers. Best of luck.

I had no idea that happened without you being aware and I agree that shouldn't happen. Not sure what the deal was there but that typically doesn't fly. We do summarized matches for regular shows while the PPV (BTDKYT being a grey area) get legitimate matches. It's a time issue. We tried to do full results for each show but it just ended up taking too long (though for whatever reason it still takes like a week, which is something I'm trying to work on). While obviously full results are nicer and flow better, it's just not all that practical and in my opinion it doesn't appear that the majority even care that much. I think if people were being honest, people would admit that only read their match.

when someone sends me a PM, I have to look up on the sign ups page who they are if it's anyone other than Kyzer, EBR, Horror, or Hutton. and until recently, I couldn't pick Hutton out of a line up either.

I appreciate being put on blast Avalon. ;D
Look, check your inbox Avalon. The only reason I did that was to throw you a bone, try to use a talent and not just continuously throw him in crap matches. That happened recently, and we lost three guys because of it.
I tried giving you something to work with. Should I have PM'd you about it? Probably, but you know...three things.
One, you could have PMd me and studs when it happened, saying you didn't like it, and we could have worked it out then.
Two, you could have said ANYTHING three weeks ago when it happened.
Three, you could have shown up for you match, won it right quick, then complained all you wanted. Writers block is no excuse. We all get it, but we all still show with something.
Is it my fault? Sure. Could you have gone about it differently? Most definately.

Writing someone out of character is just laziness on the owner. He could have came to you earlier, but it really shouldn't have happened in the first place. I am not trying to put you on blast here, but I have noticed that is the second time it is has happened with you and results since I came back around.
