According to Dana White, the UFC Fan Expo that took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas drew approximately 125,000 fans. The first expo for UFC 100 drew between 30,000-50,000 fans. Dana White had the following to say on the event…
"We always believed we could do a fan expo and it would be big, but we were always focused on other things. Now, we're starting to figure out all these ancillary businesses around the UFC, and the expo's cool. It's just so powerful. I think it's going to get bigger every year. I talked to this guy – he's involved with the MGM – and he said he thinks this thing has the potential to be one of the biggest expos in Las Vegas."
MMAScoops.com reports that the 3rd expo takes place over the weekend of UFC 118 in Boston. White also said the organization will also host a 2010 expo in the U.K.

to add to the original story I've also read that the gate profit for UFC 114 was the 5th highest in UFC history.

If something like that came to Australia, I reckon there'd be even more...surely if the UK could get one, we could too...
Thanks for posting.
