painful loss to Argentina. Congrats to them. Hopefully Greece pulls through, and we do well against Nigeria.

i thought for a while that South Korea was going to come back Too many mistakes on Offense, too many mistakes on defense, on top of that Argentines are beasts.

I'm really loving our team this year. Our defense is questionable at times, but we definitely have the talent. Hopefully Maradona doesn't act like a dick going forward.

I called the Argies winning it, and my prediction looks strong. Shame I took Higgy out of my fantasy team yesterday

i thought for a while that South Korea was going to come back If Ki Hun hit it with his right not left, would have been 2-2 and who knows what would have happened from there. I'm just glad we can still move on with a win.

This has really been an exciting World Cup. A lot of shockers have really made it seem like it's anyone's title to win. U.S. drawing with England, Switzerland upsetting Spain, Mexico "upsetting" France, both N & S Korea looking half-way decent. Of course I have to stick with my own country, but it hasn't been a good year to be a proposed favorite. Except for Germany and Argentina (woooo) really.

o snap a loss for Germany, I don't expect them to do well without Klose next game either. USA aren't looking too good right now either.

USA may struggle with Slovenia, who aren't a bad side, but it's not a doubt that they'll progress alongside England. They were very lucky tonight indeed. And it seems this prediction was right. In regards to England/USA, it's a two team sport. It only takes one side to play bad and it's an open game. The other team doesn't necessarily have to play very well at all. That's exactly what happened with England/USA. While England weren't at their best, USA certainly did not play well, especially as well as most Americans think they did. If it wasn't for Robert Green, there would be no USA goal, no affect on England morale, no pressure, and the result probably would have been a lot different. USA penetrated the England defence literally a couple of times, and only once looked threatening. Goals do not necessarily reflect performance. Spain DOMINATED Switzerland, but in the end, couldn't produce anything. They played a better game but didn't win. People need to realise things like this. And that New York Post headline has been mocked all over the country. ;D You can't deny it's a ridiculous statement to make. Oh, and nice goal from Donovan.
