Anyone that uses an excuse as to why the US lost is doing just that......using an excuse. They got beat, easily IMO. To me they never looked like they attacked the goal. All the games Ive watched this year teams attack. The US gets the ball at the top of the box and then just passes around in triangles until its cleared out. The only time it even remotely looked like the US attacked is in the 93' of the last group match where they scored. This team really needs to get a fire to them.

No American can complain about timewasting, they would've done the same. any team wouldve done the same England did it against Slovenia.

We can blame the ref all we like (And trust me, I will) but frankly I'd be lying if I said we deserved to go through. We were so bad, and while in the 2nd half we should've been spurred on by being screwed, we just lifelessly died. ing shocking.

even if that goal was allowed they still lost I don't pretend that we deserved to win (We were rotten) but goals change games, and at 2-2 we would've had the momentum and confidence.

England played poor all World Cup, i doubt tying this game would have made the team magically better than they have been this entire tourtament.

I honestly think we overate our team. Our country should NOT expect us to get to the final or semi finals anymore. I honestly think that being in the top 16 of a world football tournament is not bad for England. Sven did a good job, i mean 3 quarter finals, best 8 in 3 tournaments apparently only Brazil in that time 2002-06 performed batter globally. I do think that Capello is partly to blame, the formation seems obviously flawed, and, i mean for example, putting on Heskey instead of Crouch is just.....foolish.

Wish I could find my previous post where I said United States and England would win their Group but not make it out of the first round of knockouts.....

We were so bad, and while in the 2nd half we should've been spurred on by being screwed, we just lifelessly died. ing shocking. Agreed. We were all over the place and didn't deserve to go through. If we managed to get to the Quarter Final, it would probably have been the same result as today. We simply aren't good enough to win the World Cup. England played poor all World Cup, i doubt tying this game would have made the team magically better than they have been this entire tourtament. Partially true, but it just seems like every post you make is a jab at England. Nothing can definitively say whether Lampard's 'goal' would have made the end result different, but it would have led to confidence and momentum, both of which are highly important factors, and do tend to change the outlook of the match. Oh, and.. USA 1-2 Ghana. USA WINS!

Really dissapointed. Is Rosseti blind? It was offside, clearly . What a fail from Osorio , and what a great goal from Tevez. Congrats Argentina ..

Oh, and.. USA 1-2 Ghana. USA WINS!Can the fighting between English fans and American fans just stop? Every time you guys bring up The NY Post, we're going to bring up The Sun, and vice versa. We played to a draw, we both got to the same point in the tournament, we've both been jobbed by the refs, and we both probably disagree with our coach's lineups for some of the games.

It was nothing more than a joke, not intended to cause offense. I agree with everything you said tbh.
