Question about the Series 2 Kozlov

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. Back when Series 2 was released you may remember I had picked him up at TRU and had his leg tear off the stem, because it was too tight and every time I moved the leg it seems it cut through the stem more until the leg fell off at the him. I called Mattel and got a voucher for a new one in the mail about 3 days later. So I picked up another Kozlov at TRU and the same thing happened. Both now have their left leg crazy glued back to their body. Anyway I didn't call Mattel back because I just display them so I didn't think it was necessary to call it in again. So my question is has that happened to anyone else's Kozlov or was it just a fluke that the 2 in the first case my TRU received were defective? The reason I ask is I saw him at another store and thought about buying a third, but decided to pass. Just wondering if it was a fluke or will it happen to everyone that uses that leg and crotch piece combo?

But of all my Mattel's and I have quite a few...The 2 Kozlov figures were the only ones I had with any QC issues.
