One week away! The main event should be good. Chuck Liddell always brings it and always comes to FIGHT, as does Franklin. Both guys are coming off big losses and they both need a win. Co-main event is probably going to be a K-1 style slug-fest with former K-1 fighter Pat Barry and former K-1 and PRIDE star Mirko Cro Cop. I can't wait for that one!

A LOT of tough fights here to predict.
I think the most significant fight on this card is probably the Griffin vs. Dunham fight. Its significant for different reasons. Both of these guys are TRAINING PARTNERS. This is the first time (that I can remember in recent history) this has happened. Dunham is undefeated, and is a black belt in BJJ with mostly submission wins on his record. Griffin has amazing submisson defense, and obvious knock out power with his punches, as seen in his last fight against Hermes Franca. I believe Griffin has the slight advantage on the feet, so I'm guessing he'll win. Should be a ing AWESOME fight though.
Another fight I am looking forward to is Yvel vs. Rothwell. Both of these guys are coming off big losses and I can bet are hungry to get back in the cage. I don't think Rothwell has the kind of power to KO Yvel, but I do believe he does possess the skills to smother him and win a decision. But with Yvel's dangerous aggression and power, I think he'll finish this late in the first or early in the second.
Another really significant Welterweight fight... Kampmann vs. Thiago. Man, is this a hard fight to pick or what? Kampmann has the advantage in the striking realm, but Thiago has sick submission skills and does have the ability to submit Kampmann. I'm picking Kampmann to win here just on the striking merit alone, but I definitely see Thiago winning this by submission as well. Should be an awesome fight too.
I shouldn't have to explain myself for picking Cro Cop. I can only say this: I will ALWAYS support Cro Cop, no matter who he fights. If he fought Lesnar tomorrow, I'd still pick Mirko to win. Barry is an awesome stand-up fighter, and is very aggressive, but I will ALWAYS hope for a Cro Cop KO. I hope he is on the right track mentally, and I think if he is, he'll win this fight. Should be an exciting fight too. GO MIRKO!!!!!!
The main event should be another really good fight too. Franklin is seriously one of the most underrated fighters of all time. He's very well-rounded and has very good striking skills. Liddell needs to be patient in this fight if he wants to win. He shouldn't come out too aggressive, and he should be aware of what's coming. Franklin likes to set big strikes with kicks, so Liddell needs to pay attention. One think I will ALWAYS praise about Chuck is that he ALWAYS COMES TO FIGHT NO MATTER WHO HE FIGHTS. People have to give him credit for that. I know he's on the downside of his career, but I still have hope for him. I HOPE Liddell can pull this off and win somehow, but I see Franklin winning this.
All in all, I think its a VERY exciting card and I think it should be talked about WAY more. Lots of exciting fighters should make for exciting fights.
