Tom Selleck is set to reteam with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg for thehighly-anticipated second sequel to the trio's hit comedy 3 Men And A Baby.
Selleck, who played Peter Mitchell in the original 1987 movie and its 1990 sequel 3 Men and a Little Lady, has confirmed a third film is in the works.
The original film followed three committed bachelors who are charged with looking after a baby girl one of them has fathered.
And the latest installment may see one of the actors giving away their daughter at her wedding - but Selleck reveals he has not read the script yet. He can only hope it's as clever as the first.
He tells MTV, "It is true that Disney checked my availability. And I know they checked Ted's and Steve's and then had a script written, I think tentatively called 3 Men and a Bride, which kind of says it all about thestory.
"I hope it's a good script, and if it is a good script I hope they do it, because it would be really fun to get back with Ted and Steve.
"The strongest of the two movies, I think, is the first one. It had more heart, and that's what I hope this third one would have if we do it".

I never really got to finish the first movie, and I didn't see any of the sequel. I enjoyed what I saw in the original though.
Even then, while I love Tom Selleck, it's strange to see this movie get a "revival". At the very least, I would give them credit for using the original cast, and not simply doing a reboot under a slightly different name.

Not the worst idea for a sequel ever.

Someone needs to start a petition for Guttenberg to stop!

Anything that gets me more Steve Guttenberg is good to me. That's how I feel on Dr. John Becker and Jack Elliott.

There is a 'Midnight Run' sequel on the way,and i am happy about it ;D This, along with Ghostbusters 3 will be great to take my daughter to the cinema to see, kind of like reliving those happy memories as a kid. Though i will not be taking her to see 'Predators'

What are the odds of shooting in another haunted apartment though?

Wasn't the ghost thing proven to be false?
Anyway, this movie will either be hit or miss.

Anything that gets me more Steve Guttenberg is good to me. I work with a guy that looks like Steve Guttenberg. He's creepy and always stares at me...

I will take ANYTHING that puts more Steve Guttenberg in my life. Dancing with the Stars was fine, but this is a better step.

Wasn't the ghost thing proven to be false? Yeah. It was a cardboard cutout of Ted Danson.

I always thought that was great I really hope this movie gets made as I loved the first two, though I haven't watched them in years. I hope they get the girl from one of the other films to come back and be the bride. That would make it perfect.
