My first thought in terms of no one coming down to help Cena/SES was the fact that they could be heading in a direction of unity. The NXT rookies united to make an impact, and to survive in the WWE locker room together. There is no unity backstage among the superstars, everyone hates the SES, and who would want to help the Champion? A weak champion is easy pickings. That's the easiest way to explain things. Easiest way to explain it is that who in the would want to go up against those guys, 8 to 1? Top faces HHH and Undertaker are out, and guys like Austin and Rock aren't around anymore. Only SuperCena could have saved the day, and he was the one being dismantled.

Did they start showing it an hour into the show in the UK or something? It's now 4:15am and the show started at 2 No, it started at 1am, Sky Sports ed up. This explains my problem.

I told my dad that I saw the best ending ever to Raw. His response was "They fired John Cena?"

I'm praying they don't let something this shocking fizzle out by letting the main pay-off be Cena beating the hell out of all of them at once.
Anyways, there's just so many questions left with this. Are they being led by someone specific? Are they going to raid the next season of NXT and stick around there? Are they going to be on every show? Is this all just the ground work being laid for when SD! changes channels, and a new route is taken for the show with young guys like this? Are they going to slowly recruit anyone booted off the next NXT cast?
For once, I actually have an interest in seeing where things go.

, i missed the first hour, but from what i'm reading i haven't missed out. Your best bet would have been to tune in to the last 15 minutes and nothing else, to be honest, so you made out pretty well. The show felt like it was six hours long, I was so horribly disappointed, especially after last week's very solid show. ...Then NXT happened.

I like the idea of them taking out Taker.
But Cole as the leader sucks and would make no sense.

While I do like the idea of them united as a faction, I don't like have they've toiled so much with Danielson as a solo guy, only to have this.
But still. If they play their cards right, this group angle could be incredible.

I didn't see the full start. did cole just disappear durring the whole thing? Striker got kicked in the gut, King was mauled and yes, Cole ran away and was the only person at Ringside or in the Ring that wasn't attacked by the NXT 8.

If TNA had done something like that with midcard wrestlers it wouldn't have worked because they do too many swerves, but since "stale and predictable" WWE did it, it worked perfectly. It's so crazy, it almost doesn't make sense but in the same way it makes perfect sense. All the NXT rookies attitudes began to change (Tarver, Skip and Young especially), Justin Gabriel said he would be back, Wade Barrett said that the winds of change were blowing in the WWE etc. I just love this angle to death.

NXT FTW. That was amazing. Somebody needs to make a NXT sig in NWO style. Tarver had that logo on his shirt a few weeks ago.

P.S. Even if WWE royally this up, we will always have this one night of sheer brilliance on WWE's part.

I really hope WWE dosen't overdo it and adds some of the new NXT guys to this stable because I think they are at the perfect number already.

Was I the only one who was actually disturbed by Justin Roberts being choked by his Tie?

If they play their cards right, this group angle could be incredible. That was my only concern, I wanted more Danielson vs Cole. This may have put an end to the whole storyline. Not that I'm complaining... That was awesome.
