The Wrestling Observer is reporting that The Undertaker underwent surgery on his broken orbital bone this past week. The word going around before the surgery was that 'Taker will miss about 8 to 12 weeks of in-ring action. However, his return status has yet to be updated since completion of the surgery.
F4WOnline.com is reporting that Triple H will most likely return to WWE TV in time for SummerSlam this year. As we have been reporting, Triple H is currently in New Orleans filming a new movie called "The Chaperone," and the story line reason why he's not on WWE TV is because he was taken out by Sheamus at the Extreme Rules PPV.

The newbies or less established stars like Sheamus, Morrison and Kofi have a great opportunity to step up when people like Triple H, HBK, Batista and Undertaker are not around.

Not trying to be an ass or start a flame war, but..... by who? He isn't a massive ppv megadraw, never has been. Doesn't elevate as much talent as he should at this point of his career. He also takes up way too much tv time. Triple H sucks imo. If he was half the wrestler he was booked to be, wrestling would have hit a boom period. His monster push is disgusting. He is treated like a class A wrestler, when he draws the a class B-C wrestler.

I'm completely speechless, that is about the best summary of my feelings on HHH, without using any bull**** "hez sexin teh bosses duaghter!" smark line. He's a very talented wrestler and one of the most established guys left on the roster, but he does eat up WAAAAAY to much TV time, and really hardly every truly helps to create new stars.

Jim Cornette summed up HHH pretty well in my book. He said there are guys in the business that are not draws but make it to the top. They are the guy that works with the guys that draw. Like Austin, Rock, Cena, HBK ect. Thats kinda cool to me.

I don't really miss either.
But they won't be gone for long so I guess that is good for them.

Triple H is underrated. How can you say he doesn't draw? He is one of the most over and respected guys in the company. Not just by the guys in the back but by the fans too. People say he can't work, yet he's been delivering awesome matches recently. Have a look at his match against Cena at Raw in October, or his match against Undertaker on Smackdown a while back. The guy can still go... and refusal to build new stars? Sure, maybe he doesn't allow Jericho to beat him, and maybe he does make a few jokes and "bury" a few guys, but to act like he didn't put Sheamus over like a million bucks is just being in-denial.
I don't care who's in his good books, beating Triple H is a big deal. So when somebody actually does it, clean especially like Sheamus... then they're established. Jeff Hardy went over him finally and got his main event push. Cena wasn't officially established as the top guy until Wrestlemania 22 IMO. Say what you will, but the guy is easily one of the best to ever step foot in the ring. That's the way it will be acknowledged from years to come. I'd take another 13 title reigns of Triple H's over Super Cena anyday.

I don't miss changing the channel for 10 minutes every time HHH comes to the ring. Or hearing his awful jokes. Or watching him put over his boyfriend Lobsterhead every two seconds. Dude needs to start winding it down anyways.

Who exactly was Triple H working with when his return blew the roof off of the Garden? People pay to see Triple H. Heel or Face. Why so many smarks are still in denial about it confuses me.

It never ceases to AMAZE me...all the hatred for Triple H. Like he killed your parents or something. "OOHH NOES HE DOESN'T PUTTS ANYONE OVER!!1"
The guy was a JOBBER, who put himself in with the right crowd during a very political time in the WWE. Happened to latch on to one of the greatest factions in wrestling history (DX) and you ALL had the t-shirts and were saying "Suck It" every week....so don't give me that.
Then he happens to get in good with Vince's daughter, falls in love with her, marries her and has children...but somehow he is now the devil and slept his way to the top (Even though he dated and married her WELL after his mega push had began)
Yea the guy has held the top championship 13 times...welll, we are in a new era of wrestling. Long title reigns are OVER, and many more people will reach that double digit championship plateau in the next decade.
he's got a rep for being a little "power hungry"....WHO WOULDN'T BE??? You mean to tell me if your boss at your job wanted to give you a promotion and you would have the power to maybe control some things in your favor you wouldn't jump all over that??? Just stop.
Bottom line...face or heel, Triple H is one of the biggest stars in WWE HISTORY. He's been there, done that and done everything. The guy loves the business, is not turning his back on it for a movie career, and continually busts his ass each and every week to try and entertain people. He sells merch, he is a huge name, and is just about all that's left of the 90's era which all of us older fans seem to be obsessed over.
Even when HHH does the right things people still find a reason to crapon him. Just because he doesn't go out there to job out every week and "make new stars" out of everyone doesn't mean he is shit. The guy has EARNED his place. If he doesn't want to job out to Kofi Kingston in a meaningless match on RAW, he shouldn't have to.
