Tool last year. They pretty much play their songs flawlessly with amazing light shows and videos to go along with everything.

I don't go to many, but the Alice Cooper concert I went to last year was amazing. That guy really knows how to put on a show.

Beastie Boys on the Hello Nasty tour, with guest Biz Markie.... Molsen Centre in Montreal, summer 1998.
A close second would be Aerosmith, Kid Rock and Run-DMC in Scranton, Pa. in fall of 2002, mere weeks before Jam Master Jay was murdered. Not only did I get to see one of the final Run-DMC live shows, but they ended it doing a "Walk This Way" encore with Aerosmith. Very cool memory.
EDIT: And for the WORST concert I've ever been to, check out my sig. Although, since the story came out about the CD track skipping at a Milli Vanilli concert causing them to be exposed as frauds, I actually look back on that concert as a unique moment in music infamy that I unknowingly got to experience in person.

By FAR, Bruce Springsteen during the Devils & Dust tour. He was all by himself. I really enjoy seeing him with the E Street Band , but this was special.
He sang 3 songs he had never sang live before, played all the instruments himself, and had no back up singers. It was an amazing performance.

For me personally, Paramore with Relient K and Fun at the Deltaplex in Grands Rapids is hands down my favorite concert thusfar in my life, especially Paramore.

I've thought about this and I can't come to a conclusion. Every show is different. Different crowd, different venue, different performance, etc..

Whitechapel, Son Of Aurelius, Ideclarewar, Wrath of Vesuvius, and two other bands. Local, and only 15 bucks for 5 hours of jamming. Incredible.
Second place is a tie between Deftones/Slipknot and Dethklok/Mastodon

The Who in 1999
Run-Dmc at the summer gravity games in 2002(got to meet DMC when I was on my way to the bathroom. He was sitting in the limo with the door open nobody was around him. So this girl and I asked him for an autograph and talked to him he told me they would be back later this year on tour but it never happened because of what happened to JMJ)
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction 2009(That was so awesome live)
