Jardine goes DOWN tonight. This I completely agree with and I'll tell ya why. I firmly believe that Jardine suffers from the "Liddell" chin syndrome. Much like "The Iceman", "The Dean of Mean" has a glass chin and cannot take a solid punch anymore. I mean, Jardine got hammered by Houston Alexander and then got destroyed by Thiago Silva, followed by Ryan Bader. We all know Hamill packs a solid punch and I just don't think Jardine will be able to take it. I think Hamill will drop Jardine either late in the first or early in the 2nd round by KO.

That wasn't a rear naked choke, it was a neck crank.

Ugh, I wanna like Yager, so very much. He just seems to be more style that substance. He also appears to be afraid to take a punch to be honest. Not digging in and fully committing to ANY of his leg kicks, leaning back and taking wide looping shots with nothing but arm power.

GREAT fight by Jardine and Hamill. Hope Jardine is allowed to stick around, his career in the UFC being ended, possibly by an accidental thumb to the eye would really be a shame. Hopefully Jardine gets at least one more fight.

Dana's proven with several fighters that even if you go on a losing streak, so long as you keep putting on good fights, you'll probably still be employed.
I don't think this fight will be the one that sends Techno Viking to the unemployment line. It was very, very competitive and Jardine has been fighting some really good talent. I see him getting a fight lower in the pecking order as one last chance to prove that he's still UFC-caliber.

Even without that eye poke, Jardine would have lost.

Yeah but he also got blasted by Rampage too, so I don't think that he has a chin like that.
