GATTACA: Alright, you definitely know what you are doing, I haven't glanced over this incarnation of your Japanese wrestling extraordinaire activity, and so I've decided to see what the sh*t is about. You know your knowledge of Japan a hell of a lot, and well done for having so much dedication to this, I am suscribed to your YouTube channel already and your text feds in the past have been great. Your news report-style posts are quite original and you have definitely captured the mystique of the Japanese wrestling world. Well-written, I'll keep reading, but sorry for the lack of replies as my knowledge of most current-date Japanese wrestling is limited. But great stuff. I'll keep reading more closely as I grow my Japanese knowledge of wrestling.

I pinned Kota Ibushi, and I can do it again. I deserved to be the GEN Junior Heavyweight Champion, not him. If I had the chance I deserved, he would have never been the champion. Even though GEN is dead, even though it's gone, I still want the title.
I propose that we do this, Ibushi. Title for Title, we unify the two titles, cause I know I can beat you, again, for the title you held. The title I hold now is more important than your title was. Hell, I'm more important than you ever were, and I'll prove it when I take your title.

Mike Knox, former WWE wrestler, who was released earlier this year, will be coming to GATTACA: PRO soon!
"I grew up watching Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, Terry Gordy. It's my goal to be as good as, if not better, than my idols. I will make an impact in GATTACA, in a way I've never been able to before. I will show everyone why I am the next generation of the great brawlers in wrestling."

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 7” 7/6/10 (Youtube) North Ibaraki Citizen Gymnasium
1. Satoshi Kajiwara beat Shota Takanishi (7:22) with a Moonsault Press 2. Manabu Soya beat Kento Miyahara (9:49) with a Lariat 3. Bati-Bati Style: Manabu Suruga [BML] and Kyosuke Sasaki [FUTEN] beat Katsuhiko Nakajima and Takashi Okita (11:05) by KO (Suruga defeated Okita with multiple German Suplexes) 4. Justin Tyger and Atsushi Aoki beat Fale Simitaitoko and Chris Prospect (13:11) when Tyger used a Northern Lights Bomb on Fale 5. Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada beat Naomichi Marufuji and Masayuki Kono (17:18) when Taniguchi used a Fisherman’s Suplex on Marufuji 6. Bati-Bati Style: Katsuyori Shibata, Fujita Jr. Hayato, Munenori Sawa beat Daisuke Sekimoto, Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega (19:11) by TKO (Hayato defeated Omega with a Helm)
- In the opening match, Satoshi Kajiwara, Kensuke Office representative, battled Shota Takanishi, defeating him with a Moonsault Press for the victory. - Fellow Kensuke Office representative, Kento Miyahara, didn’t have such luck though, losing to Manabu Soya.
- In the first “Bati-Bati Style” match in GATTACA: PRO, Manabu Suruga teamed with Kyosuke Sasaki, to battle the Kensuke Office team of Katsuhiko Nakajima and Takashi Okita. Nakajima and Okita put up a great effort, but fell to the team of the two more-experienced-in-the-style fighters. - All Japan Unified Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Justin Tyger and Atsushi Aoki battled Fale Simitaitoko and Chris Prospect. Fale has shown great growth over the past few months since his wrestling debut, but he was not enough to handle the experienced Tyger, who pinned him after a Northern Lights Suplex. - In the shock of the night, Shuhei Taniguchi teamed with Kazuchika Okada to fight the Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji and Masayuki Kono. Marufuji and Kono had steady control for most of the match, until, out of nowhere, as Marufuji reached out for a tag, Kono walked away! As Kono backed up the walkway, Marufuji stood in shock, and in his confusion, Taniguchi walked in behind Marufuji, and spun him around, hitting a Fisherman’s Suplex to pin the Champion! After the match, as Taniguchi celebrated his huge win, Marufuji sat in disbelief, as he’s been pinned for the first time in GATTACA! Kono, laughing, walked up to the ropes, and taunted Marufuji, before he formally challenged Marufuji for a title shot, which Marufuji quickly agreed to! - In the second “Bati-Bati Style” match, and the main event, Katsuyori Shibata teamed with Fujita Jr. Hayato and Munenori Sawa to battle Daisuke Sekimoto, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega. The very competitive match broke the record for most kicks and punches thrown in a match, as Shibata and Sekimoto went at it most of the match. Omega, somewhat the oddball of the match, put on a great effect in the unfamiliar setting, but was taken out by Hayato’s Helm knee, sending out a message to Ibushi, who challenges Hayato on 7/14.

I love your layout of shows. There is enough detail but not a lot of detail that it is a pain to read.
Interested to see what Mike Knox does.

I'm tired of it. I'm tired of putting up with Marufuji. The dude is a chicken****. I'd like to see him now without me to hide behind, to protect him from Sekimoto. I will take Marufuji's title from him. He doesn't deserve it. I will take him out. He can run away if he wants to, but he can't hide.

Manabu Soya and Shota Takanishi beat Kento Miyahara and Satoshi Kajiwara (9:33) when Soya used a Brainbuster on Miyahara 4. Kota Ibushi, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kenny Omega beat Fujita Jr. Hayato, Munenori Sawa, Atsushi Aoki (16:03) when Ibushi used a Golden Star Press on Aoki 5. Bati-Bati Style: Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada beat Katsuyori Shibata and Manabu Suruga [BML] (12:13) by KO (Taniguchi beat Suruga with Multiple German Suplexes) 6. Daisuke Sekimoto and Masayuki Kono beat Naomichi Marufuji and Kentaro Shiga [FREE] (9:11) when Kono used a Kneedrop on Shiga
- Fale Simitaitoko battle the debuting Mike Knox tonight. Fale was off his game, confused by the fact Knox entered through the crowd, throwing chairs, nearly hitting Fale on several occasions. When Knox finally got to the ring, the first thing he did was charge Fale, manhandling him. Before quickly ending the match with a Knox Out. After the match, Knox proceeded to throw Fale around, before finally walking out of the ring.
- In a Bati-Bati match, Ryuji Hijikata debuted, wearing his Toshizo mask. He went on to say that Toshizo was nothing but a disgrace to his name and his career. His career was doing great until he got stalled by the bad position. He proceeded to remove the mask, and throw it to the ground, declaring Toshizo dead, and Ryuji Hijikata alive and well! In the match, Hijikata and Kyosuke Sasaki had an impressive showing against the team of Justin Tyger and Chris Prospect, with Hijikata kicking Prospect to the mat, ending the match as Prospect could not answer the 10 count.
- Manabu Soya teamed with Shota Takanishi, battling the Kensuke Office team of Kento Miyahara and Satoshi Kajiwara. Soya, agreeably the strongest man of the match, used his strength to take the team down, ending the match with a Brainbuster on Miyahara.
- Fujita Jr. Hayato looked to further his control over the Junior Heavyweight Title, teaming with Munenori Sawa and Atsushi Aoki to battle number one contender Kota Ibushi, Katsuhiko Nakajima, and Kenny Omega. Hayato made his point know, not letting anyone get an offense on him, until Nakajima charged the ring, and tackled him out of the ring. As this went on, Ibushi climbed to the top and hit a Golden Star Press on Aoki to end the match! After the match, Ibushi and Hayato had a brief stand off, before parting ways.
- In a Bati-Bati match, Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada showed that they can conquer in the match style also, defeating Katsuyori Shibata and Manabu Suruga, as Taniguchi took Suruga out after three German Suplexes.
- After shocking Naomichi Marufuji by turning on him, Masayuki Kono teamed with Daisuke Sekimoto to battle Marufuji and Kentaro Shiga. Kono and Sekimoto both immediately went after Marufuji, but when Shiga got involved, Kono split off and fought him. Sekimoto decimated Marufuji, but Marufuji broke off and tried to run off, but was stopped by Kono, He then ran to Shiga and tagged out, feeding him to Sekimoto. After this, the match was all Kono and Sekimoto, with Marufuji not trying to aid Shiga at all, only running in and out to help break pins, and not tagging in when Shiga offered. Kono ended it all, hitting Shiga with a Kneedrop, Sekimoto blocking Marufuji from breaking it up. After the match, Kono and Sekimoto celebrated, as Shiga staggered up, and looked at Marufuji, shoving him back. After a brief stare down, Shiga slapped Marufuji, walking off. When met by Kono and Sekimoto, Shiga shook their hands!

I'm glad to see your sticking by this despite the lack of replies, its hard to reply as I don't know some of the roster, when you started off you did have some smaller posts but I'm glad to see that all your posts are good length and not just pushing down other diaries for a quick little update, love the Knox monster push almost seems Broady inspired, loved the Juniors match and glad the Omega/Kota team won, hope to see Sawa get some more wins in the future, the main event was great as was the twist seems like Marufuji better start getting some allies. Good luck and keep this up.

The following is from a press conference early today:
Marufuji: I don’t need anyone but me. I’m the best in the world, there is no one that deserves to team with me. There is no one that needs to help me or protect me, because, I can do it on my own, I’m the Heavyweight Champion.
Interviewer: Kentaro Shiga has challenged you to a singles match, what are your thoug-…
Marufuji: Shiga is a never was. He couldn’t make it to anywhere near the top of All Japan in the 90s, and was nothing but a loser in NOAH. He was never a Junior Heavyweight Champion, let alone in three different promotions like me. He was never a Heavyweight Champion, let alone a in two different promotions. Shiga doesn’t compare to me at all.
Interviewer: Kono, Sekimoto, and Shiga have also thrown out a challenge in a tag match. Since you don’t need anyone, and no one deserves to team with you…. Who will you team with if you do accept this challenge?
Marufuji: ……This interview is over, thank you.

You know, I actually wouldn't mind seeing Mike Knox take the GATTACA Heavyweight Championship at some point. Keep building him up as a crazy brawling mother er and I'd totally buy him as champ. On the other hand, Marufuji and Hayato have been booked well as the first champions of GATTACA. Nice job there. I'm extremely interested in seeing which two guys finally take the straps off of the both of them. I'm also really looking forward to seeing the day that Sekimoto gets his hands on that coward Maurfuji and beats his ass in.

Manabu Soya and Atsushi Aoki beat Katsuhiko Nakajima and Kento Miyahara (11:55) when Soya used a Brainbuster on Miyahara 4. Katsuyori Shibata, Fujita Jr. Hayato, Ryuji Hijikata beat Justin Tyger, Kota Ibushi, Chris Prospect (16:07) when Hayato used a Helm on Prospect 5. Grudge Match: Naomichi Marufuji beat Kentaro Shiga [FREE] (10:21) with a Tiger Flowsion 6. Daisuke Sekimoto and Masayuki Kono beat Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada (14:32) when Sekimoto used a German Suplex Hold on Okada
- The first match saw Fale Simitaitoko take on Manabu Suruga. Fale is continuously improving, but not enough to defeat Suruga, tapping to a Jugjigatame. - The team of Kenny Omega and Shota Takanishi battled the Kensuke Office teaming of Takashi Okita and Satoshi Kajiwara. Kajiwara showed an impressive effort, but eventually he and Okita fell to Omega and his Croyt’s Wrath. - Manabu Soya and Atsushi Aoki shut out Kensuke Office for the night, defeating Katsuhiko Nakajima and Kento Miyahara, when Soya used his strength to cut off Nakajima and Miyahara’s agility, hitting Miyahara with a Brainbuster. - Katsuyori Shibata, Fujita Jr. Hayato, and Ryuji Hijikata partnered to fight the team of Justin Tyger, Kota Ibushi, and Chris Prospect. Shibata and Tyger immediately brawled, it didn’t matter in the end, as Hayato got another big pin, hitting a Helm on Prospect, ending the match. - Ina grudge match, Kentaro Shiga challenged Naomichi Marufuji. With no where to hide and no one to run behind, Shiga actually controlled Marufuji for a moment, before Marufuji hit Shiga with a cheap shot, gaining control, and keeping it, ending the match with a Tiger Flowsion. After the match, Marufuji didn’t stop on Shiga, kicking and throwing him around, until Masayuki Kono ran out, and Marufuji bailed! As Kono helped Shiga up, Marufuji backed up the entrance way, before bumping into something, which he turned around to see was Daisuke Sekimoto, who hit Marufuji with a Lariat! Sekimoto stood over him for a moment, before Marufuji scrambled away! - In the main event, Daisuke Sekimoto and Masayuki Kono teamed to battle Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada. Before the match, all four men shook hands, showing their respect for each other. The match held a lot of Sekimoto/Taniguchi interaction, as the two possible contenders battled for control. In the end, Sekimoto hit Okada with a German Suplex Hold to end the match. After the match, as the four started going their separate ways, Marufuji charged in, and hit Sekimoto with the heavyweight title! As he savored the moment, Kono charged into the ring, and exchanged wild punches with Marufuji, getting an advantage, knocking Marufuji down, who proceed to roll out of the ring and back away, leaving his title in the ring. Kono saw this, and after helping Sekimoto up, he picked up on, throwing it on his shoulder, somewhat showing off to Marufuji, before looking at Sekimoto, and putting it on his shoulder, and raising his hand.

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 10” 7/14/10 (ESPN-I) Tokyo Budokan Hall
1. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kento Miyahara, Takashi Okita, Satoshi Kajiwara beat Manabu Soya, Kenny Omega, Atsushi Aoki, Shota Takanishi (10:44) when Nakajima used a Death Roll on Takanishi 2. Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada beat Manabu Suruga [BML] and Kyosuke Sasaki [FUTEN] (9:21) when Taniguchi used a Fisherman’s Suplex on Suruga 3. “BACK TO HIJIKATA” Trial Series 1st: Ryuji Hijikata beat Chris Prospect (13:11) with a Jumping High Kick 4. Bati-Bati Style: Katsuyori Shibata beat Munenori Sawa (11:37) by TKO (Punches) 5. All Japan Unified Tag Team Championship: Justin Tyger and Taiyo Kea [AJPW] beat Minoru Suzuki [AJPW] and Masakatsu Funaki [AJPW] (17:31) when Kea used an H5O on Suzuki (1st Defense) 6. GATTACA & GEN Junior Heavyweight Championship Unification Match: Fujita Jr. Hayato (C) beat Kota Ibushi (C) (23:15) with a Helm (2nd Defense, Title Change) 7. Heavyweight Championship: Naomichi Marufuji (C) beat Masayuki Kono (14:13) when Marufuji used a Flash Pin (2nd Defense) 8. Special Singles Match: Genichiro Tenryu [FREE] beat Daisuke Sekimoto (19:51) with a Powerbomb
- Kensuke Office is looking for redemption. After losing both of their tag matches on 7/11, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kento Miyahara, Takashi Okita, and Satoshi Kajiwara are banding together to battle Manabu Soya, Kenny Omega, Atsushi Aoki, and Shota Takanishi. Soya used his strength to dominate the team for the opening of the match, but Nakajima quickly took over with his speed, agility, and kicks. Kensuke Office finally found the win they were looking for, when Nakajima used a Death Roll on Takanishi to end the fight. As the losing team went their separate ways, Kensuke Office met in the ring and celebrated together!
- Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada have proved their worth separately, and together as a team. They have a chance to prove themselves again tonight, fighting Manabu Suruga and Kyosuke Sasaki. In this match, kicks were also a factor, as Okada and Sasaki traded their fair share, before Taniguchi and Suruga took over, as the two wrestled around for a bit, before Taniguchi caught Suruga’s back, and held on, before dead lifting him, and throwing him back, hitting a German Suplex. As Suruga staggered up, Taniguchi walked up to him, and hit a match ending Fisherman’s Suplex!
- Looking to bring credence back to his name, Ryuji Hijikata has separated himself from his “Toshizo” moniker, and looks to get back on the championship track he was on before gaining the character, looking to start at the top, against junior ace, Chris Prospect. Hijikata and Prospect had a short exchange of holds and strikes, before channeled the athletic side, spring boarding off the ropes, coming back to kick Hijikata in the back of the head. Running to Hijikata, Prospect attempted to hit his trademark Cradle Driver, but was reversed, and in the confusion, Hijikata jumped and hit Chris with a huge Jumping High Kick to the back of the head, that sent Prospect to the mat, giving Hijikata enough time to cover Prospect and end the match!
- It’s hard to say who is in more familiar territory in this Bati-Bati Style match. Munenori Sawa, BattlARTS regular, or Katsuyori Shibata, who’s whole career has been one big Bati-Bati Style match. Either way, Sawa had a something to prove, his shoot style experience outweighs Shibata’s “Failed MMA Career”. Sawa and Shibata immediately exchanged kicked, neither man backing down. Sawa had Shibata down, and charged to hit a Shining Wizard, but Shibata moved! As Sawa went to stand up, Shibata kicked in squared in the head! As Sawa crumpled to the mat, Shibata jumped on him with punches, raining them down, until the referee stepped in and stopped the match. After the match, the two stared at one another, before Shibata slapped Sawa, followed by a slap by Sawa! The two then stared, before they quickly shook hands and went their separate ways.
- Justin Tyger and Taiyo Kea are back together, with a force, winning the vacant All Japan Unified Tag Team Championships, starting their second reign with the belts. The two have been friends since Kea’s debut, never once having a cross word or argument in the ring. The two defend tonight against to former rivals turn friends, former GURENTAI stablemate Minoru Suzuki, and Masakatsu Funaki! To start the match, all four shook hands, showing their friendship and respect going into the match. The four traded control, used a number of team tactics against one another, both teams working smoothly together. In the end, it was familiar ground for Kea and Suzuki, fighting it out. Suzuki had Kea down, and set him up for a Gotch-Style Piledriver, and picked him up, but Kea forced himself down, as Tyger an in, and hit a blasting Lariat on Suzuki, sending him back. As Kea stood up, Suzuki dazedly walked into position for Kea to pick him up and hit the H5O! As Tyger tackled Funaki down, Kea pinned Suzuki, ending the match! After the match, the four men shook hands again, before Suzuki and Funaki raised Kea and Tyger’s hands in their victory, before leaving. Tyger and Kea exchange a hand shake, before making their way to the back, still champions.
- For the Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato, it’s time to follow up on what he’s been saying for months. Hayato has stated numerous times if he had the chance to challenge for the GEN Junior Heavyweight Championship, he would have easily been champion. He has the chance tonight, as he defends the GATTACA Junior Heavyweight Title against the final GEN Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kota Ibushi, in a Title Unification Match. The two immediately went after each other, throwing wild kicks, slaps, and punches. Ibushi actually held control for a good portion of the match, until Hayato turned it all around. With Hayato on the outside, Ibushi ran and jumped on the turnbuckle, and flipped off, attempting his signature Moonsault Dive, but was cut off by an amazing jumping kick from Ibushi! Ibushi hit the floor like bricks, as Hayato slowly made his way into the ring, with Ibushi crumpled and out of breath on the ground. As the referee’s count slowly raised to 19, Ibushi crawled into the ring, ending the count, but was caught by a punt to the face from Hayato! Hayato backed up, and as Ibushi staggered up, he charged up, and hit a nasty Helm, that sent Ibushi bouncing into the ropes, before he was pinned by Hayato! Hayato is now the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion! Hayato walked over to an obviously in pain Ibushi, and helped him up, before shaking his hand. As Hayato backed away, held the two titles up in his victory, he was interrupted by a familiar tune, “Jaguar ‘08”! As Hayato slowly lowered himself down, the legendary junior heavyweight Koji Kanemoto waked out! As Kanemoto climbed into the ring, Hayato laid his two titles in front of him, pointed at them, and at Kanemoto, with a half anxious look on his face. As Kanemoto looked down at the titles, ad back up at Hayato, smiling, Hayato nodded his head, and extended his hand! Kanemoto looked down at Hayato’s hand, and laughed, as he walked away!
- After being mistreated and thrown under the bus by Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji, Masayuki Kono stood up against Marufuji, leaving him to fend for himself, and challenged for the Heavyweight Title. With no one to hide behind, Marufuji had nothing but his skills and speed to use against Kono, seeking revenge. Kono threw Marufuji around, continuously throwing knees and punches. Marufuji couldn’t get any real stride going, defending himself against the bombardment. Marufuji used his agility to get out of several different situations, but always ended up on the losing end of a Jumping Knee Strike. At the end of the match, Kono had Marufuji down, and was on the top, jumping off to deliver a Knee Drop, but Marufuji moved! Kono had time to catch himself and land on his feet, but didn’t have time to react to Marufuji rolling and twisting him up for the winning pin! After the match, Kono shot up, confused as to what happened, as Marufuji grabbed his belt and hustled up the walkway, holding his title above his head. Kono walked up to the ropes and leaned over, yelling at Marufuji, “Sekimoto will get you!”, causing Marufuji to check his surroundings, assuring himself Sekimoto was nowhere in sight, before going backstage.
- In the main event, Daisuke Sekimoto looked to finally get his chance at Marufuji and the Heavyweight Championship. One man stood in his way. The former Triple Crown Champion, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Genichiro Tenryu. In a match filled with more chops and punches than the night combined, neither man gained any real control over one another. With the crowd fully behind Sekimoto and his quest, Sekimoto fed off of them, attempting to end the match a number of times, but Tenryu somehow kicked out every time. Multiple times, Marufuji was seen watching the match anxiously from behind a door, which he hid behind when cameras saw him. In the ring, Tenryu was down, but not out, as Sekimoto charged to hit a Lariat, but Tenryu moved! Sekimoto hit the ropes, and turned right into a boot from Tenryu, and a Powerbomb that ended the match! After the match, Sekimoto staggered up, and slowly realized what just transpired, losing a shot at Marufuji. At the door where Marufuji is at, he breathes a sigh of relief, before walking off. Sekimoto yells in anger, before punched a turnbuckle. As Sekimoto stood, steaming, Tenryu walked over to him, and looked him up and down, and extended his hand! Sekimoto slowly took it, as Tenryu assured Sekimoto “You’ll get your shot, don’t worry about that, you’ll get your shot,” before walking off.

I honestly thought Ibushi was going to take the GATTACA Junior Heavyweight Championship from Hayato. Glad to see that Hayato managed to pull through, though. As far as the heavyweight division goes, I'm still highly anticipating the show that Daisuke Sekimoto finally gets his hands on Marufuji. Sekimoto for the next GATTACA Heavyweight Champion, please.

HUGE SHOW, good to see your putting so much effort into this, sad Sawa lost his Bati-Bati match sounded stiff as hell, would have loved to see Kota walk away with both belts, the title unification was very clever, love Marufuji winning I would mark for a long reign, nice main event, I wonder what will happen to Sekimoto and his claim to a title match, good luck and keep this up.
