- In the opening match, Kenta Kakinuma and Takashi Okita had a fairly basic, but hard hitting match, that saw Kakinuma throw some stiff elbows and forearms, but Okita soon got the best of him, hitting him with some hard punches, before charging him with a Football Tackle, covering him to win the match!
- In a huge six man junior tag, Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Ryuji Hijikata teamed with Akihiko Ito and Munenori Sawa to battle the team of Fujita Jr. Hayato, Katsuhiko Nakajima, and Shinya Ishikawa. Sawa and Hayato quickly picked up, exchanging huge kicks and punches. Ito and Ishikawa, the two youngest in the match, looked to impress, as the two went full board at each other, but went to a stalemate. Hijikata and Nakajima soon squared off, as the two exchanged kicks, neither of them backing down. Hijikata got the advantage of Nakajima, but Nakajima soon made a comeback, hitting a head kick, before tagging in Ishikawa. Ishikawa kept Hijikata down, but the Champion soon took control of the match back, tagging in Ito. Ito kept Ishikawa at bay, before hitting a Butterfly Suplex to win the match!
- Chris Prospect looked to impress against his mentor, the Unified Heavyweight Champion, Satoshi Kojima. Prospect put on a great showing, controlling Kojima for the early going of the match, but Kojima soon took Prospect down with a Koji Cutter, before keeping control of him. Kojima took off his elbow pad, throwing in into the crowd before hitting a huge Lariat, covering Prospect to win the match! After, Kojima helped Prospect to his feet, before shaking his hand.
- Members of LAUGHTER7, Manabu Soya, Tomoaki Honma, and Kota Ibushi battled NGF members Daisuke Sekimoto and Masayuki Kono, and Atsushi Aoki. Aoki and Ibushi battled for opening portion of the match, the two showing of their agility and kicking ability, going to a brief stalemate, before Aoki gained control! Soya and Sekimoto got into the ring, both throwing bomb-of-punches and forearms, before trading Lariats. Like Ibushi, Soya gained a short advantage over Sekimoto, before the former champion took Soya down, tagging out to Kono, while Soya tagged in Honma. The two traded shots, before Honma took advantage, hitting Kono with a big headbutt. Kono felt to the mat, as Honma staggered, effect by the headbutt also. Honma climbed to the top, looking for a Diving Headbutt, but Kono moved! He responded by picking Honma up, hitting a Chokebomb, before climbing to the top himself, leaping off, hitting a Diving Kneedrop to win!
- NGF members Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada squared off with the President of GATTACA, Naomichi Marufuji and Justin Tyger. Tyger and Taniguchi exploded, the two trading elbows, before Tyger gained control, hitting Taniguchi with a barrage of knees, before hitting two Jumping Knee Strikes. Tyger went for another, but Taniguchi blocked it! He took advantage, hitting hard elbows, before hitting Tyger with two German Supelxes! Taniguchi covered Tyger, getting a two count, before both men tagged out. Marufuji and Okada grappled, before trading kicks. Okada kept Marufuji at bay, with more kicks and elbows, before hitting a German Suplex! Marufuji stumbled to his feet, as Okada attempted to lock him into an Octopus Stretch, but Marufuji spun out of it, hitting a Spinning Kick to Okada’s head! Marufuji tagged in Tyger, who kept control over Okada, before he made a huge comeback, catching Tyger off guard with several kicks, before wrapping him into an Octopus Stretch! Okada wrenched with all of his might, as Tyger fumbled to get out of it. Tyger finally slipped his way out of it, hitting a Running Knee Strike! Tyger caught him, cracking him with a Knee Lift, before spinning, hitting a Body Solebutt! Tyger scooped Okada up, hitting a Northern Lights Bomb, covering him to win the match!
- In a 20 man battle royal featuring all of the wrestlers on the show, we saw Takashi Okita come in on fire, eliminating Tomoaki Honma. Shuhei Taniguchi soon impressed also, scoring three straight eliminations, one on former champion Naomichi Marufuji. Masayuki Kono surprised everyone, as he eliminated NGF teammate Daisuke Sekimoto. Fujita Jr. Hayato went on a tear, eliminated both Kota Ibushi and Katsuhiko Nakajima back to back. The final four saw Justin Tyger, Taniguchi, Hayato, and, shockingly, Okita. Okita soon eliminated Hayato, who was then eliminated by Tyger. Tyger and Taniguchi brawled, attempting several times to eliminate each other, before Taniguchi caught Tyger with a huge elbow, before throwing him over the ropes, winning the battle royal!

Charity for You:
- I'm loving the idea of a charity based show. Japanese wrestling always seems a little more of a community that American. - Decent opener, although I'd have preferred something bigger to kick off the show. I always think the third or fourth best match should kick things off, not the obvious downtime during the show. - Awesome six man tag team match, sounded pretty physical. Good for Ito picking up the win, although it's weird to see him here since he retired last year. Still I'm not complaining seeing him actually getting used well. - Nice mentor vs. student style match here. A win for Prospect would have been massive but it makes sense for Kojima to take the victory. I'd quite like to see round 2 between these two in the near future though. - Another good six man tag team match. I'm quite a big Sekimoto fan so it was good to see him take the victory in this one. Plus I'm a sucker for a nice diving kneedrop finish so bonus points for that. - Marufuji and Tyger are a big combination so I'd be a little surprised if they took the loss on a feel good style show. I still think Tyger is the American face of the promotion (and the fact he has Jensen Ackles face probably helps that) so it was cool to see him get the pin. - Nice battle royal to end the show. It was good to see Okita doing so well, I'd love to see him get a big push in this sometime soon. Solid win for Taniguchi as well. - A great show overall K, as pretty much everything you do in this is. I'll make sure to keep better tabs on things in future and reply more often.

EUGENICS 80 Announced; SJC Winner Receives Title Shot
- Today, the card for EUGENICS 80 was announced, being main evented by the Unified Junior Heavyweight Championship match.
vs. ![](http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k595/HoldOutSun/GattacaBioSmall/aoki.jpg) - In a match that has been building up for nearly a complete year, Super J Cup winner Atsushi Aoki will challenge the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, Ryuji Hijikata. In the fall last year, we saw Aoki hand Hijikata his first defeat in GATTACA, but that didn't stop Hijikata, who went on in December to win the INIFINITE Junior Tournament, defeating none other than Aoki to win, going on to defeat Fujita Jr. Hayato to win the Junior Title. After 8 months as champion, Hijikata will finally defend the title against his respect rival, the man who won the Super J Cup tournament to earn a shot at Hijikata, in Atsushi Aoki. Hijikata had currently tied the all time defense record of the Unified Junior Championship, he looks to shatter it with an eighth defense, but Aoki is a huge roadblock in his way!
vs. ![](http://www.noah.co.jp/imgs/pf/pf408.jpg) - Justin Tyger is looking for revenge against one half of Bad Intentions, Giant Bernard. On EUGENICS 80, we saw Bernard give Tyger a Bernard Bomb on the concrete floor, effectively taking him out of the match, before he and partner Karl Anderson double teamed Joe Doering, before pinning him, handing Tyger and Doering their second loss in GATTACA as a team. Tyger, in obvious pain, confronted Bernard after the match, challenging him for the singles match we will see on EUGENICS 81!
vs. ![](http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k595/HoldOutSun/GattacaBioSmall/okada.jpg) - Total Nonstop Action is invading GATTACA: PRO again! This time, Samoa Joe, Doug Williams, and Brutus Magnus return for the entire tour, but they start this tour off with a huge challenge, in the New Generation Force members of Daisuke Sekimoto, Masayuki Kono, and Kazuchika Okada. Joe and Sekimoto have unfinished business steaming from the first night of the GATTACA vs. TNA shows, when they two knocked each other out, having their match end in a draw!
vs. ![](http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k595/HoldOutSun/GattacaBioSmall/ishii.jpg) - Katsuyori Shibata put an ultimatum on the shoulders of Tomoaki Honma and Tomohiro Ishii, start winning or be kicked out of LAUGHTER7! The words ring in Honma and Ishii’s heads as the head into an Offer Match this week, against each other. Although Shibata has not said the loser will be kicked out of the team, but rest assured Shibata will be watching, and ready to do just that!

- In a LAUGHTER7 Offer Match, Tomoaki Honma and Tomohiro Ishii looked to prove they belong in LAUGHTER7. The two put on a good, back and forth match, that was very much a stalemate from the beginning. The two didn’t back down, trading moves, until the time limit ran out! The two faced off after the match, shaking hands, before LAUGHTER7 leader Katsuyori Shibata came out, and yelled at the two, saying that neither of them are winners because of the draw, and neither of them deserve to be in the group! After looking at each other, and back at Shibata, before they both slapped him in the face, walking off!
- In a Six Man Invasion Match, Total Nonstop Action’s Samoa Joe, Doug Williams, and Brutus Magnus returned to Japan, taking on the New Generation Force teaming of Daisuke Sekimoto, Masayuki Kono, and Kazuchika Okada. Joe tagged in, as Kono briefly took control of him. Sekimoto tagged himself in, taking it to Joe, before the two went to a stalemate. Sekimoto hit Joe with a German Suplex, covering him, only to be met by Williams and Magnus, who broke up the pin. The two stayed on the attack, as Kono and Okada hit the ring….. Before they stop, and stare at Sekimoto getting double teamed. Kono and Okada laugh, before walking out of the ring! After the match, the TNA team celebrate, as Sekimoto staggered to his feet, confused at what just happened!
- Justin Tyger was looking for revenge tonight, as he went to war with Bad Intentions member Giant Bernard. The two threw bombs at each other, hitting with all they had. The fight spilled out onto the floor, and after a brief exchange, throwing each other into the guardrails, Bernard got control, peeling away the mats on the floor. He picked Tyger up, attempting another Bernard Bomb on the concrete… but Tyger slid out of it, spinning, hitting Bernard with a Body Solebutt, before quickly picking him up, hitting a Brainbuster on the floor! Tyger slid in the ring, letting the referee being counting Bernard out. Bernard got back into the ring though, as Tyger quickly covered him, getting a two! Tyger kept control over Bernard, hitting another Body Solebutt, before charging him with a Western Lariat! Tyger scooped him up, hitting a Northern Lights Bomb! Tyger pinned Bernard… getting a two count! The two stood up, as Bernard stole control away from Tyger, before hitting a Bernard Bomb! Bernard wasn’t done yet, as he picked Tyger back up, hitting another Bernard Bomb, before pinning Tyger to win the match!
- In the main event, a rivalry that has been boiling for nearly a year came to head, as Atsushi Aoki, the Super J Cup - 3rd Stage winner, battled the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, Ryuji Hijikata. Aoki and Hijikata are 1-1 in their singles matches, and the tie breaker tonight had the belt up for grabs! The two wrestled to a stalemate the opening moments of the match, neither man getting a clear advantage. The two traded stiff punches and kicks, not backing down for a second. Hijikata gained control over Aoki, taking him down with several kicks, before hitting a Fisherman Buster! Hijikata covered Aoki… getting a two count! I don't like that all the outside talent went over on the GATTACA roster, especially Bernard over Tyger. LAUGHTER7 is falling apart!

Munenori Sawa Announces Retirement!
GATTACA: PROJECT wrestler Munenori Sawa announced last night that he will be retiring from pro wrestling sometime around November of this year. He gave no official date, nor official reason.
The 32 year old began and spent most of his career in BattlARTS. Sawa still wrestled in his home promotion, while working in GEN and GATTACA. With BattlARTS closing in November, it is assumed that Sawa will end his career along with the end of BattlARTS, although Sawa didn't specify BattlARTS' closing as a reason for his retirement.
Sawa has never held a title in GEN or GATTACA, but he has always held winning ways, and was an important part of the summer, as he and teammate Hikaru Sato feuded intensely with Fujita Jr. Hayato.
GATTACA: PRO is sad to hear of Sawa's decision to retire from wrestling, but support him in all he will do in his life after wrestling.

Masayuki Kono and Kazuchika Okada Explain Actions; EUGENICS 83 Card Announced
- Masayuki Kono and Kazuchika Okada recently deserted their New Generation Force stablemate Daisuke Sekimoto, and on the last EUGENICS, the two attacked Sekimoto during a match, before announcing their affiliation with rival stable, the Katsuyori Shibata lead LAUGHTER7. Today, Kono and Okada explained their actions:
“We will never advance under Sekimoto’s shadow,“ Kono said. “We will always be compared to him, and be called second best, and we know that we are better than Sekimoto will ever be, and we do not deserve to be considered second best when compared to such a bad leader.”
Okada added, “Sekimoto wants all of the attention on himself, not on us. Taniguchi and Kakinuma will never get to be the stars they deserve to be, because Sekimoto will never let them. He’s scared because we’re better than him and he doesn’t want to let us grow how we should.”
“In LAUGHTER7, we will now be free to grow, and be free to become the winners, and the best. Sekimoto never let us be that, it was all about him, we will now have the chance to become what we deserve to be,” Kono said, as Okada agreed.
- The card for EUGENICS 83 was also announced, featuring an “induction” match for Kono and Okada’s entrance into LAUGHTER7, as well as Naomichi Marufuji and Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Atsushi Aoki teaming up to battled Unified Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima, and Aoki’s first challenger, and his tag team partner, Akihiko Ito.

- In the opening match, we saw a gaijin battle, when Prelude To DREAMS! stable Hafiz Abdurehman, Fale Simitaitoko, and Chris Brookes squared off against Justin Tyger, Joe Doering, and Kenny Omega. Omega and Brookes put on a nice, fast pace exchange, before Fale and Doering showed their muscle in the match, powering each other down, with Doering getting the advantage. Both men tagged out to Tyger and Hafiz, former tag partners, who quickly began exchanging strikes, going to a brief stalemate, before Hafiz took control of the match, keeping Tyger down, but unable to finish the match, He tagged in Fale, who momentarily kept Tyger down, but eventually fell to the more experienced Tyger, who hit his Body Solebutt/Northern Lights Bomb combination to score the victory!
- The veteran Kentaro Shiga teamed with Kowloon teammates Fujita Jr. Hayato and Rui Hyugaji to take on the Kensuke Office team of Takashi Okita, Kento Miyahara, and Satoshi Kajiwara. Okita took control of the match, keeping Hyugaji and Shiga down, showing his recent improvements. Miyahara also looked to impress, as he exchanged shots with Shiga, keeping him controlled before he lost control of the match against Hayato. Hayato kept him down, but Miyahara got away long enough to tag out to Kajiwara, who traded shots with the former champion, but couldn’t keep advantage of the match, as Hayato hit him with a Helm to win the match!
- LAUGHTER7 members Manabu Soya and Kota Ibushi battled with gaijins Chris Prospect and Tyler Volz. Prospect and Ibushi displayed fast kicks and moves, with Prospect used his newly gained strength and muscle to take control of Ibushi, keeping him down, tagging out to Volz. Tyler kept Ibushi on the defense, but slowly lost control of the match, as Ibushi moved at lightning fast speed to catch Volz off guard, taking him down, before tagging out to Soya, who used his huge muscle mass to keep Volz down, slamming him with several moves, taking the wind out of Volz long enough to pick him up, and hit him with a Brainbuster to win for his team.
- SEX-MEN teammates Munenori Sawa and Hikaru Sato took on the team of Ryuji Hijikata and Katsuhiko Nakajima. The entire match was nothing more than a stiff punch and kick fest, with all four men throwing more kicks than one could count. Sato and Hijikata began a series of submission attempts on each other, with Sato getting the advantage, forcing Hijikata into a Knee Lock, before Hijikata grabbed the ropes, breaking the hold. Sawa and Nakajima displayed their punching abilities, as the two looked to be intent on knocking each other out, as Sawa smacked Nakajima with a cracking Baseball Punch, sending Nakajima stumbling, before he hit a Shining Wizard, getting a two count! The two kepted trading shots, before Nakajima hit a Knee Strike, sending Sawa into his own corner, as Sato tagged himself in. The two trading more hard shots, before Nakajima got the advantage of the match, before hitting a Death Roll on Sato to score the victory!
- TNA looked to keep their control over GATTACA, as Samoa Joe, Doug Williams, and Brutus Magnus teamed up to take on the New Generation Force teaming of Shuehi Taniguchi, Kenta Kakinuma, and newest member Shinya Ishikawa. Kakinuma and Magnus started the match, with Magnus taking the quick control of the match. Kakinuma saw flashes of taking back the control, but could never keep it long before Magnus took it back. Joe and Taniguchi hit the ring, trading huge shots, neither man backing down an inch. They hit a stalemate, as they hit each other with all they had in them. Williams and Ishikawa traded moves both trading control, until Williams took advantage, hitting a Chaos Theory to win the match!
- Katsuyori Shibata teamed with his new LAUGHTER7 teammates, former NGF members Masayuki Kono and Kazuchika Okada to take on NGF member Daisuke Sekimoto, and former LAUGHTER7 members Tomohiro Ishii and Tomoaki Honma. The match was an absolute brawl from the moment the bell rang. All six men hit the ring, mauling each other. The six went to war for minutes, as Shibata and Sekimoto spilled into the floor, slamming each other into the railings. Okada and Honma kept each other at bay, falling to the floor, with the railings not stopping them, as they brawled into the crowd, going up the bleachers. Kono and Ishii traded nasty shots, before Kono gained control, hitting several Running Knee Strikes, before picking Ishii up, hitting a Chokebomb! He climbed to the top, hitting a Diving Knee Drop to win the match!
- Naomichi Marufuji and the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Atsushi Aoki teamed to take on Unified Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima and Aoki’s first challenger, his teammate Akihiko Ito. Aoki and Ito started off the match, trading shots and moves, neither man getting the clear advantage. The two stayed in the ring for a good amount of time, taking each other down and hitting huge moves, before Ito slowly gained control over the champion! Ito attempted to his a Butterfly Suplex, but Aoki slipped out of it, grabbing Ito and trying for an Assault Point, but Ito got out of it too! The two tagged out, as Marufuji and Kojima got in the ring. Marufuji showed his foreign excursion paid off, as he kept Kojima at bay, although not gaining the advantage either. Kojima began hitting Marufuji with several Elbows, before hitting a Koji Cutter! Kojima kept control over Marufuji for a short time, before Marufuji used his speed to escape Kojima, tagging in Aoki! The two champions faced off, before they locked up, with Kojima getting the fast control, but Aoki showed his worth as champion, as he fought off Kojima, shocking the crowd as he took control over Kojima! Kojima cut him off though, hitting a Koji Cutter! He rebounded off the ropes, hitting Aoki with a Lariat! Kojima covered Aoki... getting a two count! Kojima slipped off his elbow pad, throwing it in the air, before he charged Aoki for another Lariat, but Aoki grabbed his arm, spinning in the air, as the two slammed into the mat, as Aoki locked Kojima in a Cross Armbreaker! Aoki wrenched tighter and tighter, as Kojima clawed closer and closer to the ropes, but he found nothing! He made one last crawl to the ropes, as the bell rung! Aoki stood up in confusion, hoping he won, but the referee called for the time limit draw! After the match, all four men shook hands, as Aoki and Ito stared off moment longer, before the four men split ways.

Marufuji Resigns as President of GATTACA: PRO; Announced Full Time Return to NOAH!
In a shocking revelation at a press conference, expected to announced the next GATTACA: PRO tour, GATTACA: PRO president Naomichi Marufuji came out, and stated he will soon be stepping down as President of GATTACA, leaving the promotion entirely, announcing he will return to Pro Wrestling NOAH full time.
He appointed Vice President of GATTACA, Justin Tyger, as the new President of GATTACA. Tyger had this to say about the situation:
“This came to a shock to everyone in GATTACA. Not a soul was expecting to hear this today. We will pick up and move on though. We have been without Marufuji’s presence before, and we will survive without him. We will miss him, and I hope I can carry on his vision of GATTACA: PRO.
Changes will be coming, there is no doubt of that, but I believe GATTACA: PROJECT will continue to be a strong force in wrestling.”
