Even though he's with Strikeforce, I thought I'd put it in here because its dealing with his UFC contract. If this is the real side of the story, then I can totally see why he signed with Strikeforce. Honestly, I do believe Fedor's side more because Dana seems like the guy to add all these bull crapstipulations.

Fedor avoids the UFC, I personally think he's overrated. Im not saying he isn't amazing because he is. But my god, some people need to get out of this guys back side.

What's so overrated about him? He has beaten and dominated every one of his opponents, and deserves all the praise ever. He has more competition outside of the UFC then inside. His only fight I would really like to see in UFC is against Brock. Outside, he has Barnett, Werdum, Overeem, Kharitonov and Antonio Silva.
Avoiding? Give me a break. He has fought tough competition and beaten former UFC champions time and time again.

As to his reasoning, seems completely rational, here's hoping he continues to do what he wants to do.

One could argue that UFC is beneath him.
By not being "owned" by them he can fight whomever he wants where ever he wants.
If Brock or anyone in the UFC really wanted to fight him they could just end their contract and go for it. But no one really wants to fight him. It's all talk.
Dude is gonna be remembered as GOAT.
Fact.

Yea I'm pretty sure hes frightened by their heavyweight champion, who probably has like what, 4 years of MMA experience?I'm sorry, but Brock didnt win the title FULLY on skill. I personally think HES overrated. Im not saying he has no skill whatsoever, because he does. But he relys on getting on top and GnP'ing using his size as his advantage. We don't know how good his chin is because he just so happens to rock his opponents with the few punches he throws. We will see how good Brock is at 116 because Carwin is similar in every way, except slower on his feet.

LMFAO
Fedor has already proven that he is the best Heavyweight out there. Other guys have looked impressive lately like in the UFC Brock, Carwin, Cain & JDS Fedor has about as many wins as these guys have fights COMBINED so lets not start getting carried away here.
He has fought the odd can fair enough, but people also overlook the simple fact that Fedor has fought the very best guys who were available to him.
The arguement of Fedor avoids the UFC has the flip of everyone in the UFC avoids Fedor. Unlike most other fighters out there Fedor doesn't need the Dana White megastar treatment.
His last three wins Timmy, Arlovski & Brett were at the time well regarded fighters & stand up against the last three fighters any of the UFC's top four have faced. People disregard Fedor because of who his opponents look after the fight overlooking that at the time Timmy & Arlovski were well regarded as genuine threats.
Nog & Fedor might not be the fighters they once were but in Pride they were both top of the heap killers & Fedor walked through them.
Great of all Time gets thrown around a lot especially in a sport as young as MMA but damn Fedor has a hell of a run against a lot of credible guys. People like Nog, Chuck, Wandy etc were all at their peak at the same time as Fedor & struggling now. Fedor though has just shut up brett & now has the overlooked Wrdum to get through towards a showdown with Overeem. He'll lose at some stage & all the haters will start ranting that he wasn't the good blah blah. People will be looking back in years to come astonished at just what Fedor did all ewithout needing the Zuffa marketing machine behind him.

'Former UFC champions'. Sylvia and Arlovski aren't much now a days, come on be serious. Arlovski has lost his last 3 fights and he's lost what he had back when he was the UFC champion. The best fighters in the world are with the UFC, it's the league every fighter wants to be in. Fedor needs the UFC to be classed as the best in the world. When he has proved hisself against fighters like Brock, Carwinand even Mir, I will accept that Fedor is the best, until then I won't. Fedor hasn't really beat many big names. He took Nog to a unanimous twice and won, which in respect to Fedor is an acheivement, but he couldn't finish him. Same with Cropcop. The two biggest names Fedor has faced, he beat them both on descision. Who else has he beat? Coleman? Washed up 40 year old. Hearing? Brocks beat him too. Randleman? Everyone can beat him now. Rodgers? Never really beat any big names.
Fedor has to beat the best to be the best, and so far, Fedor hasn't faced the best.
Everyone needs to get off this guys bandwagon, Fedor is in the top 3 heavyweights, but he isn't the best in the world.

I mean really, at the time, Big NOG, Cro Cop, Randleman and even Coleman, Sylvia and Arlovski where at there top and where ligit beast and a serious threat. His fights with Big NOG, he went to the ground game and played it and beat it, when everyone said he should stand up and strike. His fight with Cro Cop, everyone said that he should take him to the ground, what did he do? He stood up and picked him apart. His fight with Randleman, now everyone knows the famous "Randleplex" and he sat there and recoverd just fine, not many others could of done that IMO. All those name you mentioned that he beat, yes most of them are past there prime NOW, but back there the where beasts. To add some names he has also beat, Hunt, Arona and Lindland, seriously, sit down and watch as many of his fights as you can, and you would see what I mean. He deserves all right to be number one P4P. As far as your comments to as "all the best fighters are in the UFC" what about Hendo and Overeem?

Hahaha "Brock beat Herring too".
Brock and Herring went to a decision. Fedor's beatdown of Herring was one of the best ones of all time, and that's when Herring was in the glory days of his career.
Name me ONE guy who was able to dominate PRIME Nogueira other than Fedor? Same with Cro Cop? Exactly, no one. Fedor has dominated every one of his opponents.
Who has Lesnar fought that makes him to be considered the Best heavyweight in the world? Old, light-heavyweight sized Couture? Old, out of his prime Heath Herring? Come on, sir.

Who has Fedor finished though? He wouldn't be able to handle Brock's size and stricking ability for 5 rounds. You can't underestimate Brock. Look at his Wrestling career before the WWE, he has alot of experience in combat sports. Fedor didn't exactly dominate Nog or Cropcop really. Arlovski, looked good against Fedor too, it was just an unlucky end of round catch, like in the Liddell Franking fight at the weekend. Fedors not the best heavyweight, and he is no where near the best P4P fighter.
Fedor couldn't finish Nog. Mir managed to finish Nog.

Fedor always gets his ass kicked in the fight and comes back to whoop your ass. And what about Brocks wrestling experience? Fedor is a International Master Of Sports in Sambo, which is basicly a black belt level. And what striking skills does brock have? Holding you down and punding? Yeah thats some real skill.

Brock couldn't finish Herring. Fedor finished Herring in his prime. Nogueira is way passed his prime, sir. Get the picture.

He took Nog to a unanimous twice and won, which in respect to Fedor is an acheivement, but he couldn't finish him. Same with Cropcop. This is what's ridiculous... Everyone is fine with calling Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin, and Frank Mir the "best in the world," but you have a problem saying it about Fedor? I'm as big of a Lesnar fan as the next guy, but who has he beat? An undersized, 40-year-old Randy Couture, Heath Herring, and Frank Mir. I'm sorry if I'm not that impressed by that track record. You're comparing him to a guy who has wins over Herring in his prime, Cro Cop in his prime, Noguiera in his prime (twice!), Babalu in his prime, Randleman in his prime, Arona in his prime, Brett Rogers in his prime, and the list goes on... Not to mention the fact that he has never lost a fight legitimately. You just said that Frank Mir and Shane Carwin are among the "best heavyweights in the world." Who the hell have they beat? Mir's best career wins are a lucky win over Brock Lesnar (which led to him being completely destroyed in the rematch), a knockout of Noguiera when he had a staph infection, and submission win over Cheick Kongo. Where are all of the big names? This is the end of his list. And he has LOSSES to Lesnar, Carwin, Brandon Vera, MARCIO CRUZ, and Ian Freeman. As for Shane Carwin, the only guys who are a "name" on his list are Frank Mir and Gabriel Gonzaga... Gonzaga has lost 4 of his last 7 fights. WOW, WHAT A WIN! ... And these are the guys that Fedor has to "prove himself" against? Seriously, dude, you need to think for yourself for a second and stop listening to what Dana White wants you to believe. It's the other way around. If these guys want to say that they are "the best in the world," then they need to go fight Fedor. He doesn't need them. Fedor didn't exactly dominate Nog or Cropcop really. Clearly you don't know what the you're talking about. fightmetric.com/fights/Fedor-NogueiraIII.htmlfightmetric.com/fights/Fedor-CroCop.html

Quit being so harsh on him guys!!! Hes clearly just a UFC fanboy. Honestly Wandy, just stop talking because your comments are just making you look dumber and dumber. You want to say that Mir is better then Fedor because he dominated Nog? Im sorry, but Nog is past his prime and is a former shell of himself. Nog 5 years ago would of made Mir look like a fyucking poon.
