We've yet to see Brock against someone of equal size, which I feel will really be the test. If Brock can't take him down, he's done. Carwin has an advantage in the clinch and in striking. I really think Brock's only offensive plus is his ground work. Lesnar is bigger than Carwin. Just look at him, just in a suit...

I'm sure his shoes give him a bit more height in that pic, but without a doubt the stats don't seem to reflect the size difference between these two men.

Going to be a slug fest that's for sure. With the long layoff I give the edge to Carwin. Also looking forward to seeing Grove, Wanderlei and the Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar fight.

This fight is gonna be sick. Im a huge Brock Lesnar fan and consider him my favorite fighter but ill honestly tell you im worried about his fight with Carwin this can really go eighter way. This will be my second ppv and i hope it dont dissapoint like rashad vs rampage. The undercard looks good to looking forward to see Bonnar, Grove, and Wanderlei
Edit: I dint know Brendan Shaub (spelt it wrong i think) was in the card looking forward to see how he keeps doing

The Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer fight has an interesting storyline. Schaub trains with Carwin, while Tuchscherer trains with Lesnar. Heh.

No, there will be no Primetime series for this because Brock doesn't want to be bothered while training. Glad to hear he's taking the fight seriously.

I've got a bet on with my friend for Lesnar to win. If he really has only been at 60% before and this is him even better, Carwin's going down

Of course they're going to say that to help hype him up.

They release Kimbo and bring back Petruzelli? I can't stand that kid at all.
As for Lesnar vs. Carwin. I think Carwin has a real shot at it. But I see Brock taking him down and smashing him out. I still think the only one that could stop Lesnar is Cain. Brock's size/ wrestling ability really makes him unstoppable on take downs. Brock will not trade with Carwin. If he does he WILL loose. But he will take him down and smash him like he did to Mir. You just can't train for someone Lesnar's size and strength and even speed. I know the Jackson camp is amazing but they have nobody even close to Lesnar's size. Unless they throw Rashad, GSP in their at the same time then they will be Lesnar's size haha.

Why do you think Cain could do it?

Why do you think Cain could do it? I'm a little biased. But I think he can because he to is a very decorated collegiate wrestler. Cain (since getting his title shot) has been training for Lesnar. So when the time comes to fight he will have been training for almost a year for him. AKA has been bringing in bigger wrestlers. They even brought in Bobby Lashley and Overeem and big Nog. And all Cain has been doing (because he knows Lesnar will eventually get him down) is working transitions off his back with Kos, and Fitch. And has been really working on his BJJ. Because he knows Lesnar makes mistakes. And it is his job to capitalize on that. I am not saying Carwin has not been doing the same things. I just think Cain has a better shot at Lesnar. But Carwins KO power can change that in a second.

I would rather have Cain as champ than Carwin because he is probably my favorite HW. But I just don't think Cain could do it.

Lesnar is the REAL UFC Heavyweight champ until he is beaten for it. I believe Carwin stands the best chance out of anyone to beat Lesnar seeing as nobody has gotten out of the first round with him as of yet. I want Lesnar to win, but after taking a year off, I think that will ultimately cost Lesnar the belt. Like I said, I really want to see Lesnar win this one, but I would not be surprised one bit if Carwin walks out as the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight champion. If anyone can beat Lesnar, put your money on Carwin. You could have saved me time from reading that and just said. " There's two fighters in this match, one will win " I'm behind carwin all the way here, i feel Dana white went against everything he said about freak shows etc and he throws brock in at the deep end. Yet Carwin posted 12 wins and still has had to wait. I like Dana but same with the James Toney thing he is starting to go against everything he has based UFC on. I think this all pens up nicely for my personal HW dream match in the next year or two which is JDS vs Cain for the belt... in dublin of course late next year.

I can't wait for this, I predict Lesnar will retain the belt.
