I'm very pleased to see Brock training with Randy. I really hope they work on Brock's clinch against the cage, as thats where most of his problems with Randy were, and where he got clipped by Mir.
Not to mention, Carwin is pretty mean against the cage and there's really no way to telling who, if either, can push the other around so to say.

Bullying Shane up the cage and G'n'P. I agree to a certain extent. If Brock can work on maintaining control while not getting clipped by Shane, I'm certain he could get at least a single leg takedown. On the flip side, if Brock gets reversed on the cage, it could spell for a bad time. That's what happened to Mir, except he decided it would a great time not to block any punches. Personally, I see Brock keeping his distance while Shane comes after him and then shooting in for the takedown. I've never seen Carwin on the mat or on the ground, so I can't really comment on that. But based on what I've seen of Brock, I think his best bet will always be taking it to the ground.

Pro-wrestlers have been in MMA long before Lesnar, bud. They still get a bad rap as not being "real athletes."

So according to Brock's press comments about his new diet, there's a good chance that Carwin will walk in the cage weighing more than Lesnar.

Only by like 10 lbs. I believe Brock said he was near 265 and Carwin usually comes in at about 275. He apparently lost about 40 or 45 pounds with his health issues, and has obviously come back from that.
I don't know. I still don't think it will effect the fight as Mir was able to push him against the cage and control it for a moment, even if it was just a moment. And unlike Lesnar, we've seen Carwin get rocked to a certain extent. We've just seen Brock get a little tired and hit with a shot or two.
I still don't think that knee to the face from Mir or the elbow before hurt Lesnar as much as some people say it did. He didn't "just fall on Mir". He did the right thing, with the other figher on the ground, against the cage.

I'm still pulling for Carwin, I mean Gonzaga has some good power in his hands and that was a good shot. Besides didn't Lensar admit Mir rocked him a bit?

He looks pretty much the same to me in his training videos and he has always claimed he cuts weight to make 265, weighing in at somewhere around 280 before the cut.

I can only find a Mir interview where he talks about he how's certain he rocked Lesnar, but nothing directly from Lesnar.

I guess the real question is going to be Brock's gameplan. During all the promos for UFC 100, Brock for the most part talked about standing with Mir, and come fight time, he grounds him. Now he's saying pretty much the same thing about Carwin.
I honestly don't see Brock standing with Carwin, as bring in Randy gives me the impression that Brock is wanting to take this to the ground or cage.

I don't think it'll be as easy for Lesnar to take Carwin down as Mir was. Surely, he'll probably do it at some point, but he'll have to work for it.
I want to leave my predictions open until a few days before the fight, but I do have an idea of what I believe may happen.

I don't think it would be anywhere as easy for Lesnar, since not only was Mir mainly preparing for a stand up match, but Carwin and his camp would be intellectually- disabled not to think Brock would go for a takedown.

Fights 4 and 5 need to be switched. Grove vs. Relijc is now OFF of the Spike TV card do to a little sh*t-talking about Spike from Grove.
The Kimbo Killer is back on Spike TV, ladies and gentlemen!
