Damn the defenders are sold out Yeah. Keep checking back periodically. You can also search eBay for WWF Hasbro Zoloworld cases, some people sell them on there.

Anyone know if the new ringside defenders will fit Hasbro 2 packs?

Here is one for everyone, so waltman famously talks about taking pictures for his figure being made with no eyebrows. He said it was during his very first tour on the road doing house shows which would put that as August 1993….now here is the question when it comes to Crush being in that series, in August he hadn’t quite turned. So was he originally supposed to be another face Crush that they altered or did he already have his full heel look with gear complete?

Even though Kid’s promo photos had been taken in 93 and everything doesn’t mean the full lineup was ready to go/decided on at the same time. This is just speculation though; it just seems like a fair possibility.

You are right, I just was listening to him tell the story again, and he mentioned having to take all the shots for his action figure the day after his eye brows were shaved and Crush was probably about a month away from the heel turn. Just always fun to think about how they made their decisions. Like just looking at that lineup, literally Jerry Lawler was probably bigger than everyone they picked but they overlooked him.

I’m not 100% on what Hasbro’s timeline was but it’s possible their choices were influenced by Jerry Lawler’s legal trouble which is why he had to suddenly dip out of the 1993 Survivor Series.

This is the conclusion I've come to over the past few years. Given timelines of who else is in the green cards, Lawler was in a high profile fued with Bret at the time, and surely he would have gotten a figure. I think the Yoko and Crush repaints were late stage additions, hence why only the other 5 and the ring are in the line drawings on the cardbacks, plus earlier toyfair photos only show the 5. So it's pretty nice we got the Lawler Mattel recently put out, I think that's the attire the Hasbro would have had too.

Anyone know of good boxes/cases for displaying loose WWF Hasbro figures? I found these on Entertainment Earth, not sure if they're the best to use though. Also, are there any good display stands for WWF Hasbro figures, so if I put them in a display case like the one above, they won't constantly tip over. Do these from Ringside work for WWF Hasbro's? www.ringsidecollectibles.com/toy-wrestling-action-figure-display-stands-rex-123.html

Probably way too deep for just one figure. I've heard (and have a few) of the 250 ct. (I think) two piece card cases that fit almost all of the Hasbros pretty well. Some with odd molds (Tatanka/Texas Tornado wide arms, Giant Gonzalez, Hulk Plex, etc.) I don't think fit, but almost all of them do. The stands won't work, IIRC, the peg hole size is different.
