Oh yes. I'm gonna piss you guys off. =D But I seriously like Nickelback I think Stone Cold has good taste in music.
Anyways it would be cool to see Stone Cold wrestle at least 1 more match.

you. Normally, I'd stand up for someone who's getting mocked for their opinion/preferences, but this was totally justified. I agree with this whole-heartedly, but the man was/is my childhood hero... so he gets a free pass. This time.  |

I love how you all are "he gets a free pass" because he said he likes Nickelback....like he needs a "free pass" from all of you. Who gives a s*** what who likes? Corey Taylor said it best....."Like what you like, to hell with anyone who doesn't agree with you." Bottom line [Stone Cold joke totally intended] is that everyone likes different stuff, and just because you don't like Nickelback doesn't give you the right and free reign to bash others and make of them becuz they do. I happen to like Nickelback as well. But I also like Pantera, Slipknot, Cancer Bats, Stone Sour, Trivium, Metallica, Megadeth, and other bands like that.
Another thing while I'm on Nickelback....everyone claims it was their switch to mainstream rock as to why they began getting hated on. Don't hate because they are rich and you aren't. They did what brings them the most money, and I applaude them for it. Sports stars don't get hated on because they jet one team to go somewhere else that will pay them better. So why the sudden death hatred for a band who does what makes them the most money?

I hate them because they are annoying, their music sucks, they think they are total bad asses, and not sure if I mentioned this, their music sucks. Oh yeah, their music sucks now. I think it truly shows what kind of people you are when you conform to what society thinks is popular at the time. I would much rather listen and support a band that goes against the norm, and sings about real shit, rather than worrying about how much money or radio play you get. I genuinely used to enjoy their music before they started singing about getting drunk and high, and being total "bad asses". I remember when their music used to actually have meaning. They're so lame now. I hate all this programmed, pre-written, bullshit, music out there. Long story short, Nickelback, and every band like them. |
