I agree. Baroldo never fought in a war or even served in the military, let the man who knows how to do his job, do his job. I'm pretty sure Carter never did. I'm sure Reagan was always in movies and never served. But for sure, the last 3 President's we've had haven't had to fight in any war. Obama should have listened to McChrystal and given him exactly what he wanted and the time line to do it in and all the necessary technology, weapons, armor we have to offer. I don't want to get involved with this, because with war, I have more knowledge on the actual warfare, not the political aspect of it. But Nixon was a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy. |

Hell when was the last time we had a President that saw any action? George HW Bush? And before that JFK? I'm not sure if Johnson, Nixon or Ford served. I'm pretty sure Carter never did. It's a general question. We had General Eisenhower, why aren't we looking to the military brass for our selection of President? Wesley Clark would be a great choice for President. Colin Powell would be a great choice for President. |

I was watching this on Tuesday night and Wednesday and it was kinda crazy what he said.
I guess he resigned so sucks for him.

I have met Gen. Stanley McChrystal's father numerous times. He lives not far from me, and is a client of my mother's. His father said Rolling Stone took Gen. Stanley's comments way out of context (just like any magazine would). It's such a shame that his comments put his job on the line.
I wish him luck in future endeavors.
