My grandma told me I was related to some famous viking years ago, but I'll be damned if I could ever remember his name.

My great uncle is 60's/70's to present Pop music singer Frankie Valli of 'Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons'. Too lazy to post a picture, but most of you probably have heard his stuff before, and don't even know it. I'm sick of the guy, and the hooplah by now. DUDE THATS SO SICK best one ive seen in here so far

If that's true...That's ing awesome. He is my favorite singer of all time!! Seriously? Yeah, alot of people around me- are usually unfamiliar with his stuff, or only know his work remade by others...or they only know it because of their parents. He has one of the greatest falsettos of all-time, and I've met him countless times, been to a bunch of his concerts. I just am kind of not phased by his popularity, because I don't really like him as a person. He is my number one HAVE TO MEET person until I meet him. Sure, I've had number 2, 3, 4, etc...But Frankie will 100% always be number 1 until I meet him. I've seen him twice in concert and I would totally go see him again...I was gonna go with my cousin to the Mohegan Sun (because I would travel almost any distance to see him lol) but my cousin couldn't get off work. I try to get all my friends to listen to Frankie Valli and all this oldies music and they're actually starting to come around!

I can neither confirm nor deny this as there aren't even concrete records that the man even existed, but I was told that a (obviously quite) distant relative of mine on my mother's side of the family is William Tell. Famous, allegedly, for shooting an apple off some poor fool's head.
Also this doesn't technically count but it's still interesting. My mother's sister used to babysit Gwyneth Paltrow when she was very young. Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow (her parents) apparently spent periods of time in Williamstown, Massachusetts (which is where my mother is from) and my aunt would sometimes babysit her. There's no connection anymore but that would be pretty sick if there was.
