I agree with everyone else,
Lady Gaga is the most entertaining artist to have come out in recent years
She is VERY unique and actually has talent and credibility
and no, she does not lip sync live

How can you not see the similarities? lmao! They look the same except for skin color. If you want to prove to me that she copies MIA, then please post side by side pics of Lady Gaga and MIA. And again, I still don't understand why Lady Gaga would have any desire to copy an artist that is nowhere near as famous or as popular than she is. |

i found it weird how much the usa loves mia. i saw her supporting gwen, she wasn't that amazing and paper planes was the only song i really liked. mia has been around for a while, its funny how people have only heard of her for that song...
btw MJ and madonna have lip synced live, because they do get tired when dancing and singing for 14+ songs.
oh and okano, check out melvins....(especially the song honey bucket imo), i mean as a nirvana fan you should love them.

I just showed you, they both do the same type of styles. Lady Gaga has ripped from several artist, plain and simple. Everyone's amazed that OMG WE HAVEN'T SEEN THIS KIND OF THING BEFORE. Uh, yeah we have, Madonna's done it, MIA's done it, Christina Aguilera has done it, Lady Gaga is just another copy cat. I personally can't stand them all except Madonna since she's the original. I'm not one too just fall into a trend/fab just because everyone else does. & Yeah, The Melvins are pretty good. Nirvana didn't copy anything from them, if anything Nirvana created something different. They even performed together on the same concert, unlike MIA and Gaga I believe. We aren't comparing music, were comparing style. If Gaga just would find something else to wear before she continues too far to where everyone catches on and she becomes a nothing, then she could " maybe " become legendary or an icon.. |

Whats so wrong about copying people though? Don't hate her because she's obviously been influenced by great artists. Can you not stand every grunge band except for nirvana, because they're originals?
Without the melvins, gang of four, pixies Nirvana wouldn't be like they were. Nirvana ripped off the pixies.

There's nothing wrong that in the least, plenty of other legendary bands and artists have been inspired and mimic other bands and artist before them. But I really don't see how she's coping MIA or Christina Aguilera. Again, why would she need or want to copy artists that are no where near the same level of talent, fame, or popularity as her. Madonna, I can understand, and that's perfectly acceptable as I said it's not like Lady Gaga is the only one ever to draw inspiration from other legendary artists that paved the way for the artists of the future. But copying the other two, sorry I'm not buying. Lady Gaga hasn't been around as long as MIA or Christina Aguilera, and she already has more hits then they do and is more popular and famous than they are. And I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here and lets just say she is copying the other two, guess what she does it better and they failed. So once again: |
