I realize that calling someone a tag team wrestler isn't considered very flattering these days, but watching the guy in the ring so far, that's all I can think. And it's not that I don't think he can be a singles wrestler, he certainly can. But this guy just gives off a 1980's Anderson look that I love and I would love to see him and a partner go be heels against the Hart Dynasty.
I'm not too sure who his partner should be though in my scenario, although I know I would have gone with Charlie Haas. Too bad WWE fired him. I know he's teamed with Brett DiBiase in FCW, but I imagine WWE has other plans for DiBiase and honestly I don't see him making it very far with Ted Jr. already established. I'd be tempted to put Hennig with CW Anderson to go along with what I said about the look, plus the fact that he's a veteran who could probably help Joe with the ropes.

ARGH. I know the first time I saw Joe Hennig wrestle about a year and a half ago, he was in a tag team match with SOMEONE against the Hart Dynasty. It was the best match of the night but I can't remember his partner. I know it wasn't Brett because Brett wasn't in FCW at the time. I'll ask my friend later.
BUT, I agree. Maybe Wes Brisco would be a solid choice.

I totally originally put Wes Brisco in my original post as the 'young' option. I'm really excited about the guy because of his background, has he improved any since his first match last year? Oh and I just remembered another good option: the retired Jamie Noble. the Sheamus angle, we need him back on TV.

I haven't seen the guy wrestle much at all, but I get the Anderson vibe from him, too, and Arn Anderson THRIVED as a tag wrestler as opposed to a singles wrestler.
