This is a pretty good diary, but I have two issues with it. I really wish you would use a instead of a quote-box because it will make your shows look a lot better. More importantly, you need to focus on character development. No one is going to care about a wrestler if we know nothing aobut them. Other than that, I actually enjoy this diary, and everything else seems solid.

Not to let them be outnumbered, the new tag team champions, Pete Phan & Whiskey Willie, arrived on the scene to help out the team they took the titles away from. The rumble continued for a good five minutes until security was finally able to stop them. Once they were split up, head booker, Fred Pierce showed up & announced that they will be in a No DQ, four on four elimination tag team in the main event.
-After everyone was being escorted to locker rooms on other ends of the building, the opening match was starting.

X JACK (1) VS CYRUS BLACK (1)

PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC WRESTLING PREVIEWJEFFERSON BEDOLLA (1) Vs MICHAEL PEREZ (1)
After Jefferson Bedolla won his debut, and continued to brutally beat his opponent. He goes into this episode with high flyer, Michael Perez, standing in his way. Both men are coming off victories, and are one step closer to a Junior's championship shot. Who will move on? Has Bedolla's statement be made? Will Perez fly past the much bigger man? |
JOHN McCRAY (0) VS RICKY SMITH (0)
Both of these men are coming off recent losses. Ricky smith is well past his prime, and just cannot seem to pull out a victory. The only way he could win this match against another up and coming rookie is if he can beat him with experience. John McCray was a great high-school wrestler, but just can't seem to adapt to the ways of the professional circuit. Luckily, he is facing an opponent that has been easily beaten with technically sound maneuvers. |
PETE PHAN (2) VS CHRIS JACKAL (0)
This match will be very interesting to see how this match plays out as there is plenty of tension behind it after last week's show. Phan is looking to redeem himself against the man who pinned him in the huge tag team match in the last installment. If Phan were to lose, he would lose all two of the points earned, but if he were to win, he would earn a shot at the Junior's Championship. |
THE SOUTHERN AIRWAYS CONNECTION OPEN CHALLENGE
It's safe to say that the PAW booking team was both shocked and pleased by The Southern Airways Connection requesting that they have a match on the next card. Who will face the rookie team? Will their opponents even be a tag team? |
MAIN EVENT FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH CHRISTOPHER MATHIS VS ROGER AUSTIN VS CARNIVAL CHRIS VS ROSS THE GREAT
Everyone in this match is debuting here. Nobody has seen anyone of them perform until their match. Who will rise amongst the four? Find out on Live in Cincinnati, Ohio! |

-The PAW announce team are in the ring as the show began & ran down the card for the show.
JOHN MCRAY (0) VS RICKY SMITH (0)

JEFFERSON BEDOLLA (1) Vs MICHAEL PEREZ (1)
-After the match, Bedolla physically assaulted his opponent as he did last week. This time, he yelled things like "You think you can beat me!?" and some other things that should never leave the mouths of a human being as he beat him.
-The Southern Airways Connection stand alone in the ring asking anyone who "is dumb enough" to make their way to the ring, and face them. The Kings of Love answered the call by appearing from the crowd, and surprising them as the bell rang.

PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC WRESTLINGLIVE - DAYTON, OHIO - AUGUST 9th 2002 ATTENDANCE: 203 -The main event was announced as a Junior's Championship Number One Contender's match with both men, Pete Phan and Cyrus Black, at two in the points standings. The announce team nearly over did the hype as they let the fans know how important the match will be for both men. - Mike Jackal expressed his anger in a short promo at whoever his brother, Chris Jackal's attacker was. He proclaimed that they might aswell step out here, and face him face-to-face, and admit it. - Carnval Chris answered the call with his own (self-proclaimed) brother, Ross the Great, behind him. Chris admitted to the attack, and challenged him to a match in the upcoming weeks. Immediately, Mike Jackal accepted. TAG TEAM HANDICAP MATCH PAUL TRIPP & SAUL TRIPP VS JEFFERSON BEDOLLAAfter the past weeks of complete domination in the singles division, Bedolla was forced into a handicap match. He didn't seem happy about it, but he still had no trouble at all. Bedolla easily beat down Paul Tripp, and tossed him over to his brother from the opposite corner of the ring so he could barely make a tag. Saul did better, but not by much at all. Saul could only hope to keep himself standing after successfully putting Bedolla in a crucifix postition, but only set himself up for demise as he was slammed down and pinned. |
-After the match, Jefferson Bedolla did as usual, and attacked the Tripp brothers. RICKY SMITH (0) VS MICHAEL PEREZ (0)In a rematch from a couple events back, Ricky Smith showed some life as he was able to stop the high flying luchadore for an easy submission victory, via a Boston crab. |
- Ricky Smith celebrated his first PAW victory as if it was his first ever. The crowd also joined in as his opponent sat in disappointment. -In the back, Chris Jackal made his return since the announcement of his recent injury alongside his brother, Mike Jackal. He said he's expects to be back very soon. Also, Mike Jackal promised he would shut up Carnival Chris & Ross the Great until they have their match against them. CYRUS BLACK (2) VS PETE PHAN (2)This match made up for the short card that night as Cyrus Black gave it his all to keep up with the much more experienced Pete Phan. The two battled it out by exchanging spot after spot throughout the twenty minute marathon of a match. With the time almost reaching it's limit, Cyrus Black almost got a pin with five seconds left, but out of nowhere, Phan reversed it into his own pinfall. Unfortunately for Phan, time ran out at the count of two, and the crowd went wild. |
-The show came to an end as Pete Phan and Cyrus Black had a staredown in awe as the exited on opposite sides of the ring. (c) Professional Athletic Wrestling 2002

Dark Match: X Jack & Roger Austin def. Ross the Great & Christopher Mathis [19:44] Dark Match: Colt Carter def. Michael Perez [6:02] Dark Match: Jerome Gentry def. Mike Wolfe [11:35]PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC WRESTLINGLIVE! - DAYTON, OHIO ~ AUGUST 18th 2002 ATTENDANCE: 119 -The show opened saying that since the match between Cyrus Black and Pete Phan resulted in a tie, they will both earn a point. Since both men have three points, they will both receive a Junior's title shot. It was announced that Pete Phan will have a shot against Jack Pearson later that night, and Cyrus Black will face the winner at a later night. MR QUICK (0) VS JEFFERSON BEDOLLA (1)The debut of Mr. Quick proved to be very impressive on as Mr. Quick avoided the unbeaten Bedolla throughout the match. The match was well paced and exciting for a solid eight minutes before Mr. Quick picked up a pinfall victory after a Hurricanrana off the top rope. |
-After the match Mr. Quick celebrated with the crowd and left Bedolla lying in the ring. -Jason Valentine cut a promo saying that he is offering The Southern Airways Connection to come out here and face him. PAUL TRIPP (0) w/ Saul Tripp VS JASON VALENTINE (0) w/ Mary Valentine & Jerome GentryPaul Tripp accepted the challenge in a fearless way as he charged Jason Valentine at the bell. The tactic didn't shake Jason as he dodged and slung Tripp into the corner. After multiple corner clotheslines the match continued with Valentine in the driver's seat. When it was clear Paul wouldn't be getting the victory, Saul stepped in and attempted to help Paul. Fortunately for Jason, Jerome Gentry was expecting this, and stopped him with a clothesline before he could get to them. This allowed Jason Valentine to pick up a pinfall victory after a sickening neckbreaker. |
-After the match The Kings of Love couldn't help themselves but to cut another promo, slandering The Southern Airways Connection. PAW JUNIORS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHPETE PHAN VS JACK PEARSON (c)What a match these two put on for the capacity crowd! Back and forth the momentum went throughout the main event. The match started with the traditional lock up, but the pace jolted up when Pearson took to the sky. Pearson utilized a high flying offense for a solid minute before Phan stopped him with an arm drag reversal to counter a crossbody. This seemed to give Phan an advantage as he kept Pearson down with a series of painful submission maneuvers. Pearson struggled regaining control, but eventually got it with a surprising DDT. This allowed Pearson to pick up a very impressive clean victory over Pete Phan. |
-After the match Pearson celebrated to the tune of the cheering fans. When offered, Phan denied to shake hands. (c) Professional Athletic Wrestling 2002

Dark Match: Colt Carter & X Jack def. Michael Perez & Roger Austin [9:20] Dark Match: Mike Jackal def. Brian Flood [9:12] Dark Match: Chris Jackal def. Mike Wolfe [14:39] PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC WRESTLINGHDNet 11:30 EST - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - August 25, 2002 Attendance - 124 -The show began with the Kings of Love in the ring for another promo. This promo was a direct challenge to Adam Harkness by Jerome Gentry for the PAW World Heavyweight Championship. The reason? They decided it was time for the kings to get their gold. -Adam Harkness answered the call to the fans liking and accepted the match under one stipulation. To avoid the other members assisting their partner, the match will be contested inside a steel cage. The crowd really popped to this as The Kings of Love talked amongst themselves about the idea. It seemed as Mary was the driving force behind their decision as she noted they may not get another shot. The match was confirmed for later that night. CARNIVAL CHRIS & ROSS THE GREAT VS MR QUICK & LUKE COLLINSThe first match of the evening began with a bang as Mr Quick and Carnival Chris were first. Their high flying styles clashed in a brilliant display of every press, splash, and 'rana you can imagine. Carnival Chris really out did himself by stopping a potential arm drag by bridging himself before the landing. That reversal allowed a hammerlock that setup a nearly paralyzed Mr Quick with a thunderous neckbreaker. Ross the Great got the tag and finished Mr Quick a 400 pound powerslam. The pinfall was made, but that didn't stop Luke Collins from trying to take on both after the match. |
-The brawl continued until Security broke it up. Once Security settled both sides, Carnival Chris cut a promo complaining why they haven't received a tag team title shot yet. -The promo didn't last long before The Southern Airways Connection entered the arena and also complained about their lack of recognition in the tag team division. -The seemingly endless promo continued on with THE JACKALS returning to the ring to claim that they and the Carnival Clownz have unfinished business. -Aaron Field, Booker for PAW, made his television debut with the announcement that there will be a five tag team battle royal for the tag team championship next week. The tag teams will include: Whiskey Willie & Pete Phan (c), The Southern Airways Connection, The Carnival Clownz, The Jackals, and Mr Quick & Luke Collins. JUNIORS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHJACK PEARSON (c) VS CYRUS BLACKThis match was a technical match as expected. Neither man had a clear advantage throughout, but there were times when it seemed it would be over. At one point, Jack Pearson got a close two count after a springboard crossbody. Cyrus responded with a powerbomb that shook the ring to say the least. Unfortunately, he got just a two count. After fifteen minutes of an all out brawl, Cyrus got a clean win over Pearson to the shock of everyone in attendance. |
-After the match, Cyrus celebrated the title win by standing one every turnbuckle on the ring and shaking hands with Pearson. INTERMISSION-During the intermission, The Kings of Love cut yet another promo to gain a little extra heat before the match. Jerome barely spoke, but Jason sure did get the fans angry. END INTERMISSIONPAW CHAMPIONSHIP BOUTSTEEL CAGE MATCHADAM HARKNESS (c) VS JEROME GENTRY (w/ Jason & Mary Valentine)The steel cage may have stopped Jason from getting involved physically, but he sure made his presence known verbally. The match began with a technically sound mix up that quickly turned fierce. Gentry really established himself as a powerhouse with multiple slams and tough strikes to the head of Adam. Harkness struck back with leg kicks and hard elbows. The match seemed to have come to a close when Harkness attempted a 450 splash off the cage, but ended up landing on the knees of Gentry. This put the champ out and allowed Gentry to climb up and out of the cage. |
-The world seemed to have come to an end judging by the fans reactions. The Kings of Love really over celebrated their win, even for a world title victory. (c) Professional Athletic WrestlingLive Exclusive: The Kings of Love cut their third and final promo of the evening. In the promo, The Kings of Love made it clear how great they believe they are.

Dark Match: Roger Austin & Colt Carter def. Michael Perez & Chris Mathis [11:59]PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC WRESTLINGHDNet 11:30 EST - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - September 1st 2002 Attendance - 122 -The show began with former PAW champion, Adam Harkness, cutting a promo. He exclaimed he is very upset about his loss to The Kings of Love and he is looking for a rematch. The fans showed they agreed with a cheer and chanted 'Now!' -Jerome Gentry came out with his newly won belt and accompanied by Jason & Mary Valentine. He spoke for himself this time by saying he accepts the challenge. He tried to discourage Harkness a bit by reminding him that he beat him already, and he can do it again. The match was set for the next show. X JACK (1) VS MIKE WOLFE (1)Both X Jack and Mike Wolfe made their television debuts in this match and neither wanted to start off with a loss. Shots were exchanged and an elbow was delivered to the nose of X Jack, causing his nose to trickle blood. The fans popped to the blood and X Jack fed off of it. He wiped his nose and began hitting furious kicks that weakened the knees of Wolfe. Wolfe attempted to battle back, but X Jack already took him down by the arm. This set up a failed submission attempt that lead to a 450 Splash from X Jack onto Wolfe. The fans roared at the acrobatic display and watched as X Jack picked up the victory. |
-X Jack celebrated as he completely ignored Senior Referee Reginald Gibson, who was trying to give him a towel for the blood. -X Jack got his hands on a mic and said, "Cyrus, almost there" as he the blood gushed from his nose. -Commercial Break--After commercial, you see Mr Quick and Luke Collins in the locker room slowly going through the movements to prepare for their match. JACK PEARSON (0) VS ADAM HARKNESS (0)The battle between the two men who lost their titles last week proved to be a good one. It started off as a technical war, but kicked into an exciting thriller of a match. Pearson struck first by ducking a clothesline and hitting a strong spinning back kick to the chin of Adam Harkness. Harkness fired back by hitting three consecutive dropkicks, and a pin attempt. The pin only got a one count and the match continued with Pearson sending Harkness out of the ring with a head scissors. The referee counted as usual, but Harkness didn't want to get back in the ring once he was up. Pearson knew getting out of the ring would mean him being counted out, but if he didn't he would win via count out, which he did not want. Pearson backed off the ropes and executed a picture perfect senton that cleared all three ropes. That really got the crowd going as some patted Pearson and encouraged him to do something like that again. Even though they were banged up pretty badly, they both seemed to enter the ring on time. That made the crowd happy. Pearson failed at a pin attempt so he surprisingly kipped up and climbed the turnbuckle. The fans cheered as Pearson struggled to keep his balance before hitting the splash that got him the victory. |
-Pearson naturally celebrated the victory after the long, impressive match. The two shook hands and hugged before the show went to commercial. -Commercial Break--Before the match, the rules were explained that both members of each team must be eliminated. PAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 5 TEAM OVER-THE-TOP-ROPE BATTLE ROYAL PETE PHAN & WHISKEY WILLIE (c) VS THE SOUTHERN AIRWAYS CONNECTION VS THE JACKALS VS THE CARNIVAL CLOWNZ VS MR QUICK & LUKE COLLINSThe match kicked off with The Jackals burying The Carnival Clownz with painfully shots to the head. Whiskey Willie made quick elimination attempt on Paul Tripp, but Paul hung on. Saul came to help his partner by dropkicking Willie and almost knocking over and out of the ring. Mr Quick attempted to be a hero and eliminate Willie, but he was nearly thrown out himself. The first elimination was finally made when Mike Jackal landed a vicious kick to the jaw of Carnival Chris that sent him up and over the ropes. The Jackals continued fighting the one member from their rival team left, Ross the Great. On the other side of the ring, Pete Phan and Luke Collins battled until Luke slipped into an improvised armbar. This armbar wore Phan down enough to hit an arm drag and continued on to help the Jackals. Luke & Mike (Jackal) pulled Ross the Great back and dropkicked him over the top rope which was being pulled down by Chris Jackal. Then, the Jackals tossed Luke Collins over and he was eliminated. They proceeded to sling Mr Quick over and began fighting with Pete Phan, who was already trying to help his partner. The Jackals used their momentum to eliminate Phan as well. The fans roared at the hot streak The Jackals were suddenly on as Willie eliminated Paul Tripp. The Jackals, as excpected dropkicked Saul out to leave them and Whiskey Willie.
Willie went after them with all he could, but to no avail as The Jackals had a response for every move. Eventually, Willie was worn down and tossed out. |
-After the match, The Jackals celebrated like they had just won the world. They did win over the astonishment of the crowd. (c) Professional Athletic Wrestling 2002Live Exclusive: The Jackals cut a promo saying that by winning these titles, they have only "scratched the surface" at how great they will become.
