hi all, this is my first attempt at a mattel custom. elite nwo hollywood hulk hogan!!! took about a month to make due to the lack of figures and parts available here in japan. but i'm really happy with the way it turned out, he maybe alittle taller than scale only cuz i didn't cut the legs enough. only thing thats missing is the weight belt (which i have a spare toy biz wcw white one back in the states, and a shirt. here is what was use for him: -r3 head, boots, and boa -elite/legends austin body and upper legs -elite ted lower legs -basic2 kozlov arms -heritage taker hands and cuffs -paint comparison shot with basic trips. enjoy.

Looks fantastic for a first mattel custom. Did you paint those boots or take them from one of his WCW figures. The mold looks different. Very clean work, keep it up

That is great for a first custom. You did a nice job of incorporating R3 parts on the Mattel body.

Just wondering, is the Austin body the same as the Elite HHH and Cena body?

Just wondering, is the Austin body the same as the Elite HHH and Cena body? No, it's not. Austin's body is less defined/ripped and is also slightly smaller (still bigger then the edge/cm punk torso though). Figure looks pretty good. Surprised it took this long for a Hogan to pop up. I would have tried using the taller Taker legs. Though you would have to shorten the thighs if you wanted to keep it to "Superstar Scale".

Great work man. I haven't done any custom work on the Mattel figures, are they easy to pop apart?
