Okay 1st off just wanted to state I have my own home and not living in my parents basement.I just never go down there till about 4 weeks ago and noticed all the space. So I bought a poker table set it up and a workout bench and a bar table with stools. Its turned okay so far sorta a mini vaction from my life when I go down there.I been thinking to do the same to my garage and make it a yogo place or something of that nature since I always park my car outside anyways. So have any of you turned your basement garage or even added a shed to your backyard to just get away from it all.

What are the essential stuffs in a mancave? My room kinda looks like a mancave, with all my toys, comic books, games, guitars, videogame consoles, weight bench and my work table with my model kits and tools.

Well I think the main reason there is a mancave or idea for one is that you cant have what u want in your main home view. Most men are married and their wives wont let them have it or your parents wont so u get our own extra space.I guess your room sounds set to what you want.I just sorta made cuz I thought it would be a fun project and just wanted a fun room really lol

well, i do not have a basement, and i do still live at home with my parents, but what i did do was build a huge wooden garage in our yard and made that my private space/ mancave....altho most people refer to it as a wrestling museum since it's filled up with my collection at the moment, also, the big garage doors came in very handy since ihave a few HUGE items that wouldn't fit through the regular side door anyway...i don't have a poker table yet but someday i guess i'll put one in, probably when i get some wwe poker sets or something, it would be a nice touch for sure

I have a man loft... Posters of naked girls, big 37" plasma, X-Box, DVD's, pool table, guitars, masturbating station, just everything that makes me happy

not sure if this counts, we live in a 3 bedroom house, but the muppet family before us, changed the small bedroom into the bathroom, then back again. so basically we had 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 down stairs, i changed one bathroom into my bedroom because i'd had eneough of sharing with my brother. but theres not plugs in there so i've had to run wires from out on the landing into my room.
got all the essentails. 32' TV, PS2 / PS3, 15' TV VCR combi, where the shower system was when we ripped it out there was a built in wardrobe there, so that been pulled out too and turned into shelves for me figs, stack's of DVD's and Games. Mini fridge, about 15 bottles of 10 year old win above the ex-built in wardrobe

I wish I even had a basement. When I get a place of my own since I'm only 17 I'd pick a basement over an upstairs. Plus my mancave can save me from tornadoes.
Essentials in my opinion: -Pool table -Dart Board -Shot glasses on display (you dont even need to use them but they look cool) -Big TV -Big Speakers -Neon lights -Couches -Fish Tank -Bar with stools -Collectibles/memoribilia -Fridge -Gotta have a big suspended light over the pool table.

When I get my own house I'll make one. My ideal room would be having a 40+ in tv. A ps3. A nice supple couch. And a bunch of Yankees/knicks/jets/Clemson/ucla stuff. Like posters, blankets, memerobilia etc.

Losing my basement is actually the only reason I miss living at home. My parents actually let me design majority of our basement when we finished it. Of course they had their limits because the money was coming out of their pockets. But We got a nice sectional, pool table, full bar, & tons of sports merchandise.

Well at first i'm gonna have to have an apartment when I first move out but I want a two room house and my room will be my "Man Cave" so in my other room will be my training room so I want my basement to be my Isolation/Meditation area, I will only have a Isolation Tank and a little round mini couch for my meditation, I might put in UV lights thoguh with some fluorescent paintings our strips around.

Since I still live with my parents, I do not have a man-cave, but it is one of the biggest things I want when I eventually own my own place.

Used to have a great Mancave. Had my weight bench and exercise stuff, all my figures up on display, a table for poker/cards, my stereo, tons of posters, and a section dedicated to displaying my wrestling stuff....then we moved into a smaller place. We bought a house last year, but then I lost my job, so I haven't been able to finish the basement renos, so my Mancave stuff is in storage, with the exception of my weights.

I'd say I got a pretty good mancave.
My basement is downstairs, I got my bathroom, 47" LCD TV, PS3, Dart board, Bar, Mini Fridge, Computer.
All i'm missing is redoing the basement walls and some hardwood flooring and it'll be legit.
