"Dynamite Kid used to wake his wife up by putting a pistol to her head... and pulling the trigger once her eyes opened. Then he would say, "One day, it will be loaded." "Kerry Von Erich really had his foot amputated because he thought he could walk across a room on his just-surgically repaired foot for a cheeseburger, thus crushing it." WTF? I wouldn't be surprised if that Dynamite one was true. Bret Hart's book gives a lot of insights into the inner-workings of one "Dynamite Kid" Tom Billington. From Hart's book, he seemed very bitter, a bit twisted, and quite often impulsive and self destructive. Dude was a great wrestler, but he unfortunately didn't take care of himself and he ended up old and broken down, confined to a wheelchair. I don't know about the cheeseburger part, but I do know the main point of the Kerry one is true. Kevin Von Erich mentions it on the Triumph/Tragedy of World Class DVD. Kerry got in a motorcycle accident, they surgically repaired his foot. Following that, Kerry got right up and tried to walk on his just-surgically repaired foot, undoing anything the surgery did and causing further irreparable damage, so much that they were left with no other alternative but to amputate. -CMD

yup the Von Erich story is true sadly.as mentioned above I dont know the motivation for walkig on his surgically repaired foot but he did do it and had to get it amputated because of the damage.
if you listen to enough folks talking about Kerry Von Erich on shoot interviews,it sounds like he hadnt got 2 brain cells to rub together.

How about Macho Man banging a 14-15 year old Stephanie McMahon as the reason he and Vince don't speak anymore? I have heard some other interesting takes on the McMahon/Savage feud. Not sure which one is true but one of them has to be.
After 1996 everyone said the original Warrior died from steroids. Even using the comparison of the new warriors hair as hard evidence it was in fact true.
I also heard that Taker was played by multiple people over the years all the time as well growing up.
I still consider Undertaker threatening to beat up Shawn at WM14 as rumor. Austin said he never had a problem with Shawn, Shawn and Vince Russo said he was being written off tv after WM14 and Taker said that the rumor was a varation of what happened. I have no doubt Shawn had an issue with something and Taker probably said something to him but I don't think it was over dropping the title to Austin. Especially since Shawn was having what he thought would be career ending back surgery.
Hulk Hogan really worked for WWE and the NWO was really a way to destroy WCW for Vince because they were such great pals. Ha not a huge stretch.
I feel like there have been some great ones. I wish I would have written them down over the years.

Ultimate Warrior used to transform into animals like birds and bats. Someone told me that in 4th grade

I remember being told when I was like 12 that Jeff Hardy had died in some in-ring accident.
With the excuse I was given (hit his head on the turnbuckle when falling off a ladder), upon reflection I'm inclined to believe they were actually talking about Owen Hart's death but with inaccurate details.
