I would probably lean towards Lesnar to win the fight, but to say Cain has no chance is one of the funniest things I have ever heard. I wouldn't bet money, but I would probably lean more towards Lesnar.

This will be a very interesting fight, plus Velasquez to me always looks hungry in the Octagon, always moving forward with focused striking and a well versed ground game...True, he's smaller than Lesnar, but his cardio is amazing and that could prove to be one of the key factors in the fight.

No. The event itself still has yet to even be "officially" announced by the UFC.

I will be in Cain's corner for this fight. When it happens. I remember I told Lesnar to his face at UFC 100 " Cain is gonna you up." Brock flipped me off. Over a year later Cain get's his shot. Cain Will beat Brock. He has been prepairing for Lesnar for almost a year, we brought in Overeem, Lashley, Nog, and countless others to prepair him for Brock. Hopefully he stops spending so much time training the new TUF kids for Kos. Cain will win no doubt in my mind. He is the only one that can tame this ugly beast. That said it will be a war. Cain is gonna use....................................................... Brock better start running.

Velasquez won't beat Brock, and of course being heavier gives Lesnar the advantage over the smaller Velasquez - it doesn't matter how fast Velasquez is, because it won't make a damn bit of difference, if he's got 270+ lbs of Lesnar laying on him and pounding his face. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Especially the newer one with Nogueira. He gets better every fight. Noguiera is over the hill.

Doesn't matter how fast he is? Lesnar got fatigued and had trouble by a much smaller, faster "over the hill" Randy Couture. Velasquez is a very fast striker which has already been proven, and Lesnar has terrible standup.

Nog's biggest problem has been has health (staph) lately. A healthy Nog is VERY, VERY good. You may want to look into things before you comment. Out of the 2 HW (in the UFC) that can beat Lesnar, 1 is Cain (the other is if Dos Santos can catch him and avoid being mauled). Cain won't gas while on Lesnar, he'll just continue to pounce.

I will be in Cain's corner for this fight. That's great man. When Brock is on top of him pounding his face, feel free to toss the towel in at any time. You can think Cain is gonna win all you want, but just remember that NOTHING in MMA is a sure thing.

I just hope Cain knows what he is in for since Lesnar is going to add him to the list of victims!

Cain has better striking than Brock and has great wrestling himself. The only thing Lesnar has on him is size which won't mean crap because Cain has insane cardio and will most likely knock Lesnar out anyways. Can't wait for this fight. Have fun and maybe throw some shout outs to WFigs after he wins.

just remember that NOTHING in MMA is a sure thing. Including Lesnar "pounding Cain's face" in and winning. So....

As I've said before, once Brock Lesnar puts anyone down, it's gonna be over. I wanted Velasquez to face Dos Santos.

Dos Santos has already had a planned fight with Roy Nelson for awhile.

Credit: Wrestlezone UFC president Dana White recently killed rumors about Brock Lesnar's next UFC Heavyweight title defense.
Reports surfaced recently that claimed Lesnar would be fighting again on September 25th in Indianapolis against number one contender Cain Velasquez.
While Lesnar will be tussling with Velasquez in his next octagon battle, the date and venue are incorrect according to the head hauncho.
White simply stated, "Reports that Brock is fighting in Indy Sept. 25 are false."
Well if this is true, this sucks. I'm planning on going to the Indy show.

I pretty much expected Lesnar to want to take "time off" after this. The fight will probably happen in December.

Rather than make a new thread for it, it seems as if the fight as been announced for UFC 121.

Brock Lesnar will make his next title defense against Cain Velasquez at UFC 121.
UFC president Dana White confirmed with MMA Fighting Friday night that the heavyweight title fight will take place at the yet-to-be officially announced event, scheduled for Oct. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Lesnar, 5-1, is coming off a riveting second-round submission win over Shane Carwin at UFC 116 last weekend in Las Vegas. Prior to the win, he had been on the sidelines due to a battle with diverticulitis.
Meanwhile, Velasquez most recently knocked out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 110 in Australia this past February. The American Kickboxing Academy member is a perfect 8-0 in his MMA career.
The last UFC event to be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim was UFC 76 in September 2007, which was highlighted by Keith Jardine's upset win over Chuck Liddell.

well i'm going with brock again as i always do but that's just the pro-wrestling fanboy in me talking again...i admit i'm not familliar with this Cain guy but i'll try to look up some of his matches, i always like to that on brocks opponents, gives me more satisfaction when i know how good they are and when i see brock smash them regardless
