I just seen the smile.jpg picture and I kid you not, I almost threw up, and tears welled up in my eyes. This thread has managed to creep me out, even though I know all this poop is fake. Image for those wanting to see it: img808.imageshack.us/img808/4867/smiledog.jpg

'Dead Bart' seems like it'd be a Treehouse of Horror episode tbh.

I actually LOVED the Mickey story.
I had no trouble sleeping last night. I don't even remember dreaming.

Am I the only one disappointed that the Dionaea House just abruptly ends? Oh no, I'm pissed about it. So many questions I still have after it. I'm really disappointed they stopped updating the other site with the new info too. I wish they would start updating that site again. Or last least the author could fully explain the story, if he can come up with one.

I didn't get it first, but it seems a little "creepier" after you figure out the ending. I think the only story here that managed to get a decent reaction out of me was the Spongebob one. Mainly because it was fairly well written, despite being pretty outlandish. I couldn't even bother to finish the Dead Bart story yet. I remember reading about a story similar to the smile.jpg thing. Instead of being a dog, it was actually a creepy looking man standing in the forest. It was one of those pictures that continuously flashed, and it gave his smile the effect of slowly growing wider and wider, as well as making it seem like he was slowly approaching the camera.

Through a bit of digging, I found out that the guy who wrote Dionaea House sold the script to Warner Bros and they are going to be making a movie of it sometime. I have tried to find more info, but it's pretty slim. Does anyone know for sure? Is it an in progress thing, or has it already been scrapped?

The last 2 stories (Suicide Mouse and the one about the hotel) did not scare me at all. In fact, I enjoyed the Suicide Mouse one and the hotel one seems like a synopsis for a movie.

It's called Sanctum and is supposedly coming out or begins filming next year.

The guy that wrote The Dionaea House also had a hand in the new Nightmare on Elm Street, and is writing Final Destination 5. Crazy that the project got him enough recognition to get his big break.
I just finished What Happened in Piedmont and enjoyed that one as well. Talk about an abrupt ending, though. Any reason why it was concluded so quickly?

I thought something was a little strange when I saw a picture of Daniel Dae Kim and the numbers "4 8 15 16 23 42", but then I figured the author must have just been a fan of Lost.

I can't believe I accidentally overlooked that Dionaea House story. While it didn't scare me, I really did enjoy going through the whole thing. The amount of work he put into that was quite admirable.

Yeah, that Zelda one just seems like a weak attempt to mimic the style of all these other, better, stories.

Really? How is that supposed to make people go insane? It's just a dog with teeth and a hand, i'v seen much worse. *insert pic of fat woman vomiting on bench* TBH, I don't even think it's that specific Smile picture. There's a much more disturbing Smile.dog picture on Google Images, or at least it's more disturbing than this particular one in my opinion. Here's the link: newsimg.ngfiles.com/110000/110986_smile.dog.jpgAre Smile.dog and Smile.jpg different images though? Definitely seems implied that way. That was pretty stupid looking, and didn't bother me one bit.
