It's odd how much he's remembered for such a brief run. I guess he was in such high profile things during that time he never had the chance to lose that.
Something I was thinking of though. Had they not made him a terrorist, which lead to him being fired after the london bombings, can you imagine the promo after that attack?
He could have done a great promo about how the abuse worsened or something along those lines. It would have been topical and very good.
It just makes me sad that they found a new spin on the "foreign heel" gimmick that was interesting, and ruined it almost immediately. Of course TNA did almost the same thing with Daivari during his run as Bashir. But that was more they could never seem to decide whether he was a foreign heel or victimized American.
