Anyone ask the important question of 'Why the hell do you care' When did it become acceptable to care?

Some of you guys take yourselves and this website way too serious. Might be time to quit making 50 posts a day and take a walk outside. ;D
Just my two cents.

^^^
I'll add to that, that a lot of the guys on here care WAY to much about other "men" and how "manly" they may, or may not be.

I go for a 2 hour walk every day plus 60 mins at the gym, but it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too ing hot outside right now. I'd much rather just chill in the house with the air conditioner and make another 50 posts.

This is something I'll side with Slappy on. the majority that can't accept something that's different than them, period.Like LARPing, right? Can't stand purple - it was my school's color, and the color of my cape and gown at graduation. Yuck. Pink's not for me either, but you want to wear it, go ahead. No, LARPing is different. LARPing is what you, aliens in disguise, and Comic Book Guy do because you're too scared to go have a life. Not my problem.

I wear pink and purple.
I like it.
My girlfriend loves when I wear pink or purple, but she helps me from going too crazy. I have a hot pink HIM shirt that I love, and one day I wanted to buy a pink belt because I thought it would be funny. She said, "Okay, that's too much, now."

At the end of the day, the color doesn't make the man, the man makes the color. One of the most intelligent statements made in this thread. Men aren't defined by what colors they like or don't like. Likewise they're not defined by how they think men or women should dress. I'm fine with a guy wearing a purple shirt, I think it's one of the ugliest colors ever, but that's fine. A kid in my auto shop class sophomore year wore purple shoes, purple pants and purple shirts a lot. He was still a cool, chill and straight dude. In my opinion, pink shirts are pushing it. It's alright if it has pink on it. I don't even think about it if a man's wearing a pink polo, but a pink t-shirt? It really depends on what kind of shirt it is... what's on the front, back etc. I'm sorry, but whoever it was (the HIM fan, I don't know your name anymore) who said that men who think men shouldn't wear pink aren't really men, that's just really dumb. Technically, since I have a buck fifty in my shorts, I'm a man and will stay a man no matter what I think, say, or do. Seriously, though... judge a man based on morales that actually matter, not if he thinks men shouldn't wear pink. Now, if he thinks men shouldn't wear pink because he's sexist or homophobic, go ahead and judge him all the way to hell. Like LARPing, right? Can't stand purple - it was my school's color, and the color of my cape and gown at graduation. Yuck. Pink's not for me either, but you want to wear it, go ahead. No, LARPing is different. LARPing is what you, aliens in disguise, and Comic Book Guy do because you're too scared to go have a life. Not my problem. Yeah, this would be quite the opposite of what I said about Matt's post. I won't call you an idiot, as that wouldn't be fair because I don't really know you, but you're certainly coming off as one with your double standards and inability to understand your way of having fun, might not be someone else's way of having fun. LARP people HAVE lives. They have friends who LARP. That's what they do... they LARP. You hang out with friends at the park and do whatever it is you do, while people who LARP hang out with their friends at the park and do their LARP thing. Why don't you understand that? Why don't you understand that they're HAVING FUN doing what they do? My idea of fun is chilling at home, the mall, the movies with my friends... just relaxing and sh*t... I know that other people would find that pretty boring, though... just like you find LARP stupid. Hell, I find LARP pretty stupid myself, I don't think I'd ever do it... but I'm not going to be an ignorant prick. I'm sure that out there some where, there's a good looking dude or a beautiful girl who likes to LARP, but also likes to party and drink. I don't wanna take this off topic, so to relate it back to the original... I'll bring back the point of your double standards. If what people wear doesn't define them as people, why does what they do in their spare time? Trick question... it does define them, a little bit at least. People are what they wear, it's a way of expressing who you are. That's why you see the MAJORITY of the gay guys you see walking around dress... well, like gay guys. It's why rappers dress the way they do, rockers the way they do... and so on. I think what you MUST be doing is stereotyping because of AdamBomb's story about his brother. I find it a little ironic, actually, that AdamBomb himself is stereotyping because of his brother's situation, as he's mostly the guy to call people out for being ignorant, but that's beside the point. Just because his brother is (or was) an obsessed nut job, doesn't mean everyone who likes to LARP an obsessed nut job. It's either that (that you're stereotyping) or that you secretly would love nothing more than to run around with a bunch of "aliens" with cardboard swords and plastic shields and pretend your from another age of time. So tell me, Jimmy Pokemanz, why the double standards?

I never knew it was unacceptable for genders to wear certain colours.

This reminds me, I have a pair of jeans that look black, but once the sun hits them they're dark purple.
But they aren't skin tight. ;D My balls like to breathe.

There's nothing wrong with anyone wearing any color. Some people can pull it off better and it depends on how you wear it. I wear purple fairly often .... pink not as often but I do have some pink pieces. Never had an issue with it, pink and purple rock.
