I find it a little ironic, actually, that AdamBomb himself is stereotyping because of his brother's situation, as he's mostly the guy to call people out for being ignorant, but that's beside the point. Just because his brother is (or was) an obsessed nut job, doesn't mean everyone who likes to LARP an obsessed nut job. Did I stereotype everyone who does it? Or did a I specifically call out people that take it to that level? "Call me an ass hole, a dick, whatever - but I find it insanely goofy when people like them take a game and base their WHOLE lives around it." Direct quote. I didn't stereotype ANYONE, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't put words in my mouth, or twist what I say. Kay? Kay.

The guys who believe that they need clothing to demonstrate their masculinity are clearly lacking it themselves. It's all about the attitude. If you have the right attitude/amount of confidence you can pull off ANYTHING. My guess is that the guys rocking the pink polo shirt or whatever have enough confidence to not give a damn about what others may think, and that will get them further than any article of clothing ever will. Oh and, not sure if this has been mentioned but... ... Mr. Ki says hi!

who care about men wearing pink? I think the bigger question is when did it become acceptable for women to leave the kitchen

I can't believe this thread has reached 7 pages, yet my vegetarian thread was locked after only 5 pages. That kind of pisses me off.

I have purple and pink dress shirts. Also, purple/pink shorts. I don't see the problem with it.

At the end of the day, the color doesn't make the man, the man makes the color. One of the most intelligent statements made in this thread. Men aren't defined by what colors they like or don't like. Likewise they're not defined by how they think men or women should dress. I'm fine with a guy wearing a purple shirt, I think it's one of the ugliest colors ever, but that's fine. A kid in my auto shop class sophomore year wore purple shoes, purple pants and purple shirts a lot. He was still a cool, chill and straight dude. In my opinion, pink shirts are pushing it. It's alright if it has pink on it. I don't even think about it if a man's wearing a pink polo, but a pink t-shirt? It really depends on what kind of shirt it is... what's on the front, back etc. I'm sorry, but whoever it was (the HIM fan, I don't know your name anymore) who said that men who think men shouldn't wear pink aren't really men, that's just really dumb. Technically, since I have a buck fifty in my shorts, I'm a man and will stay a man no matter what I think, say, or do. Seriously, though... judge a man based on morales that actually matter, not if he thinks men shouldn't wear pink. Now, if he thinks men shouldn't wear pink because he's sexist or homophobic, go ahead and judge him all the way to hell. No, LARPing is different. LARPing is what you, aliens in disguise, and Comic Book Guy do because you're too scared to go have a life. Not my problem. Or, or, why not just accept that I think it's stupid and move on? Obviously it's ing your day up pretty bad that I think LARPing is stupid, otherwise you wouldn't be the only one left going "omfg will you stop their just having fun". Here's my point entirely. Take some kid or adult who likes to LARP. It's one of their favorite things to do. They do it all the time. Now get that person to come hang with you, and do something else. TEN times out of ten, they end up enjoying it more than LARPing, but will never admit to it.

1. It isn't " ing my day up pretty bad" that you don't like LARP. I completely forgot about it till I saw it brought up in here. I probably would have just shook it off, but you come off like such a hypocrite and hypocrites piss me off. I can't stand them. They're idiots. You have no room to talk about WF being full of idiots or that people bash being a vegetarian, because YOU bash peoples lifestyles as well. 2. I didn't know there was anyone other than me on your case for bad talking people who LARP, so I don't get why you'd say that, but whatever. And I'm not like "omfg will you stop their just having fun." For one, I don't talk like that. And two, if I did talk like that, I'd have the sense to use the right form of "their". It'd be "they're" (they are.) Their is used for possession. Like... It's their right to LARP and you have no business thrashing them. 3. They might enjoy it more, you never know. I'd imagine they wouldn't, because why wouldn't they be doing that instead of LARPing? That's like me saying that if you tried LARP, you'd love it... you might love it, you wouldn't know unless you tried it. You seem to jump back and forth between opinions, as I said... double standards. You call LARPers "aliens", which can translate to they're weird and you expect no one to disagree with you. Then you come into this thread and get all uptight because people think that guys who wear tight pants and the colors pink and and purple are gay... I don't understand how you can't seem to realize how hypocritical that is, but whatever.

I think I missed something. How did a thread complaining about men wearing pink and purple turn into complaining about LARP?

I think I missed something. How did a thread complaining about men wearing pink and purple turn into complaining about LARP? SYE pointed out that while Jimmy Pokemanz was getting on people's cases for not accepting people who are different, in another thread he bashed LARP people the same exact thing... being different.

Nothing is funnier than a judgmental punk. lmfao Like you know me, and whatnot. I hang out with people that like Country, GNR, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, scene kid stuff, and really bad stereotypical streetpunk, and could care less. But I'm not allowed to look at LARPers, and be like "those kids suck". I mean, I'm only saying it because the majority of them do.

I think I missed something. How did a thread complaining about men wearing pink and purple turn into complaining about LARP? We're the monkeys that start fights and fling poo that Jimmy Pokemanz was talking about earlier. We're just really butthurt and he's so insensitive. Can't he see that it just....it just bothers me, okay?! ITT: Johnny goes baaawwwwww

FYI, I still want - and am waiting for a ing apology for being called "ignorant" and told I was "stereotyping" when in fact, I wasn't.
