Christian with full Jumpsuit kinda suprised me. This( kind of. I was honestly expecting a t-shirt) And especially Elite Morison being so decked out with the real-feel fur coat and detailed glasses. I thought for sure they'd save that get-up for an Entrance Greats and stick the Elite with a shirt. NOPE! Gotta love Mattel.

I've read a rumor about that in the DX 2-Pack thread, but is there any real truth to that? Has he been officially confirmed? Because if he is that has got to be the biggest mistake they've made I couldn't justify buying his two 2-packs at full price ($15) If they release an Elite version there's no way in hell that it wouldn't be the biggest perwarmer even at one per case. It's in the lineups we've had so far, and some shop sites have it up as coming in series 7. Hornswoggle figures have always been pretty popular, haven't they? It's definitely not going to sit on shelves if elite figures of guys like Kozlov, Chavo, Finlay and DiBiase have sold. Personally I can't wait for the elite Hornswoggle in DX gear. That, along with the HBK and HHH from the same series, are the figures I'm most looking forward to. wow you'd think someone from the UK would have more respect for Finlay. believe it or not dude, Finlay is kind of over, his figures sell well, in fact his first figure was impossible to find.

Bad Surprises: Elite Hornswoggle for obvious reasons Cancelling Evan Bourne and pushing William Regal elites No figure belts released yet
Good Surprises: Finlay with the jacket Kane with the chains Swagger with an extra singlet Mike Knox & The Hurricane still in Basic 5 SDCC exclusive being Ministry Undertaker Drew McIntyre being first made in the PPV line Attention to detail to some figures & headscans (Elite Miz, Morrison's accessories, Elite Orton, Elite Kofi scan)

Mattel has suprised me quite a bit already, mostly good too.
The detail of the Elite JoMo is astonishing. I'm still suprised such a "deluxe" figure is an item that is available at mainstream retailers and not something that is only limited to an online exclusive.
The extra singlet for Swagger, the Elite Finlay.
Some attire choices too. For example, Basic #4 HBK. That attire is pretty old and an odd choice, but it's still cool. Same with having a throwback Jericho v. Steamboat in the new double packs.

Jericho Elite ONLY coming with a mic and the fact that BECAUSE he's coming out in 2 different colors is the reason why he doesn't come with anything... I rather one up to date color or attire and with an accessory that's actually makes it worth it and a serious headscan not a joker like evil grin scan its not accurate, I still love the figure but it could have came with a belt or SOMETHING other than a MICROPHONE.

I don't mind the lack of accessory (as the budget for elite 4 must have gone mostly on Morrison, and Jericho and Show don't really have any appropriate accessories anyway) but I think that new Jericho headscan is a joke as well. I'm glad they went back to the original for the Steamboat two-pack.

I'm sorry PJ but I do not follow your logic at all. Hornswoggle is still one of the most popular characters for kids on the show. In reality the WWE toy product is meant for kids. Why would it be a mistake to make a figure of a popular kids character? Are you saying you cannot justify buying an action figure of him just because of his small size? First off if you are asking about me personally? I can't justify buying him because I can't stand the gimmick and don't find him the least bit entertaining. So because of that I have no desire owning his figure. (It's the same reason you'll never see Jeff Hardy, Doink and many other in my collections) I'm not a completest my rule is I have to have found them entertaining to want them on my shelves. The only Jakks figure I ever picked up that I never like the guy was the CS11 123 Kid which I got duing TRU's "buy 2 get 1 free sale" He was the free figure for his WM figure ticket. And the only Mattel wrestlers I have that I don't find entertaining are Hornswaggle, Rey, Colons & Cryme Tyme and all those were purchased via sales or gifts. Now according to Mattel the Elites are designed as "collector" figures. That's why they get the extra articulation. They are designed for hyper posing (The more moving parts something has the more fragile it becomes.) And in this economy why would a parent shell out $15 for one figure that's half the size of every other figure in the series when they can get either of the 2-packs for $15? They want bang for their buck. The Hornswaggle Elite will pretty much have the same articulation as the Basic, because I can't see much more being added to the Basic. Both 2-Packs are all over the place here. So yes I see a $16-$17 (after tax) single carded Hornswaggle being a major pegwarmer especially when I still see plenty of his Series 2 2-Pack on the pegs of TRU & Taget now along with his Series 4 2-Pack.

I can see where people get off crying "mateL fanboi!!!!1!1!!" but I sincerely mean it. Every series is just incredible and the detail ALWAYS catches me off guard. Knox and Hurricane are phenomenal figures, both of which are easily 10/10. I'm always expecting at least 1 half-assed figure every time we see MOC, but about 90% of the time, the MOC's are MUCH better than the protos.

Easily Knox and Hurricane still making it out after the cancellation of planned Jeff Hardy and Ric Flair figures. A close second is Roddy Piper coming with bagpipes Kane with chains and modern Steamboat were nice and the Road Warriors inluding wrist gauntlets is something I always wanted.
