-Morrison winning here was the right call. Really hope he wins the whole thing. -McIntyre over MVP was the right call too. He deserves it, but I don't see him winning. -Kofi Kingston over Daniel Bryan has it's realistics. But Bryan is really pushed more than Kofi here, and real life. -The Miz over Jeff Hardy because of Gabriel was fine. Hardy had my hopes, but I know it's for the future. Hardy/Gabriel in a Ladder Match at TLC or so could be beneficial to his career. -Bourne over Ziggler for some build is good, hope he beats someone big though to really make a statement. -Sad that Morrison didn't win here, but now that he's gone, McIntyre should win this thing. -Kofi Kingston over The Miz was the right call to have a face/heel going into it. -Basically like a Bragging Rights divas match if you ask me with a slight mix. Heels winning is fine. -King McIntyre sounds cool. Hope he gets a title match now that he's won KOTR. -Cena over Jackson and DiBiase is great and expected as those are two unexperienced champions, IMO. -Great show; still looking forward to TLC.

Thursday Night Smackdown | December 2, 2010
After Michael Cole and Todd Grisham welcomed us to Smackdown live on SyFy, Teddy Long came down to the entrance stage. He welcomed the WWE Universe to Smackdown, and announced a new concept match taking place at TLC - a Six Pack Elimination Tables Match. The rules are simple. The match will start with six men battling it out. You are eliminated when you are put through a table. The winner of the match will receive a World Heavyweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble. Teddy said that the qualifying matches will begin right now. "Metallingus" hit as the Rated R Superstar Edge made his way down to the ring.
Edge def. Kane to qualify for the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match A solid opening contest here. This was Kane's first appearance since Survivor Series, where The Undertaker's mind games cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. The same scenario happened here as the lights shut right as Kane was preparing to grab Edge's throat. When the lights came back on, Kane looked around for The Undertaker. He ended up receiving a Spear, giving Edge the victory.
Edge celebrated his win with the WWE Universe following the match. Kane sat up and screamed for the deadman to show himself.
Intercontinental Champion Justin Gabriel was shown in his locker room getting ready for his match. Josh Mathews got a quick word with the cocky South African. Gabriel said that last week, Jeff Hardy said that nobody will remember his name in a few years. He made sure that Hardy remembers his name forever. And now, he will qualify for the Six Pack Tables Match and win the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Then, nobody will ever forget his name.

A video was shown announcing the candidates for Breakout Superstar Of The Year for Slammy Awards. The nominees are Wade Barret, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, and Alberto Del Rio.
Kofi Kingston def. Intercontinental Champion Justin Gabriel to qualify for the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match Kingston was determined to take the victory here as he came up short in the King Of The Ring finals this past Monday on Raw. Gabriel's momentum skyrocketed after he screwed Jeff Hardy out of the throne. As Gabriel was ascending to the top rope, Hardy came down to ringside, catching the IC Champion's attention. Kingston climbed up onto the top rope and superplexed Gabriel to the mat. As Gabriel was getting to his feet, Kingston rolled him up to get the win.
Kingston jumped out of the ring and celebrated his victory. Gabriel was in complete shock as Jeff stared a hole through him at ringside.
A graphic was shown announcing the contract singing for John Cena and Christian World Championship match at TLC. That will take place tonight.
[Commercial Break]
Women's Champion Serena def. Layla A decent diva's bout here. It should also be worth noting that Serena has been growing her hair out once again. Michelle McCool was in the corner of her BFF, but she soon retreated to the back when Beth Phoenix came down to ringside and stalked her. Serena dropped Layla with the Gutbuster to pick up the victory.
While Serena was celebrating her victory, the WWE Universe silenced when a women who had to be at least 6'9" hit the ring and layed out the Women's Champion. The woman held the championship belt high above her head as everybody looked on in complete shock.
Jack Swagger and MVP were shown on split screen making their out to the ring. They will settle their rivalry in a Six Pack Elimination Tables Match qualifier.

A promo for TLC was shown.
Jack Swagger def. MVP to qualify for the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match A good first hour main event here. MVP debuted a new entrance theme that really got the crowd going. It looked as if MVP was going to pick up the win with the Drive-By, but Swagger moved out harms way and dropped the Ballin' superstar with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Swagger covered Porter to get the win.
An updated graphic was shown with Edge, Kofi Kingston, and Jack Swagger being placed in the match.
Intercontinental Champion Justin Gabriel stormed into Teddy Long's office and demanded a match with Jeff Hardy at TLC. Long said that he has some good news and some bad news. The bad news, he will not face Jeff in a one on one match. The good news is that he will face Jeff in a tag team match. Gabriel seemed confused. Long said that he just had a conversation with ECW General Manager Matt Striker and they were able to work out a deal. At TLC, Justin Gabriel will team up with Daniel Bryan to take on Jeff Hardy and the new ECW Champion, Rey Mysterio.
[Commercial Break]
Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters to qualify for the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match A solid contest here. Rhodes' was looking to bounce back from his World Heavyweight Championship loss at Survivor Series while Masters was looking for an opportunity at a championship that he has never held before. In the end, Rhodes put Masters away with Cross Rhodes and picked up the win.
A video was shown announcing "Old School Raw" on January 3rd.
[Commercial Break]
When we returned from the commercial break, Vince McMahon was shown in his office thinking about something. He soon said "I like it! But how do we do that?" The camera then turned to CM Punk, who told Vince that the first step to achieving is him becoming World Heavyweight Champion. Vince told Punk that he has the 5th spot in the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match. Punk thanked Vince and promised him that his plan will work.
Alberto Del Rio def. Matt Hardy to qualify for the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match Since CM Punk was able to talk his way into the match at TLC, this match will determine who gets the final spot. Del Rio worked on Matt's shoulder for the entire match and locked him in the Cross Armbreaker. Matt had no choice but to submit.
A graphic was shown with all six participants in the Six Pack Elimination Tables Match. It will be Edge vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio.
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was shown making his way down to the ring. The contract signing for his match with Christian is next.
[Commercial Break]
After we returned from the commercial break, "Just Close Your Eyes" hit as Captain Charisma made his way down to the ring. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena soon did the same. After both men were in the ring, Teddy Long reminded them about the dangers of competing in a TLC match. Christian said that he's comfortable in that environment. Cena said that the match type doesn't matter to him. Christian was the first to sign the contract. While Cena was preparing to do the same, Christian told Cena that he may want to rethink what he's doing. He said that there is nobody else in the WWE who is as dangerous as he is in TLC matches. With the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, there's no telling what he may do to him. He may scramble his brains with a chair, break his back with a table, or break him in half with a ladder. Cena told Christian that he can do just as much damage. Christian's anger seemed to grow. He told Cena that he's not superman. He thinks that he can do anything, but in reality he can't. Christian told Cena that the WWE Universe won't get him anywhere. No matter how many times he says he can win this match, he can't. Cena told Christian to watch him. Cena then signed the contract and told Christian that he wouldn't have signed if he wasn't confident. Christian told Cena that he has no idea what he just got himself in. Both men walked away from each other. Cena held the World Heavyweight Championship high above his head for the audience when Christian nailed him in the back with a steel chair. The WWE Universe showered him with boos, but it was clear that he didn't care one bit. Christian grabbed another chair and placed it under Cena's face. Christian then smashed Cena's skull with a conchairto. Christian held the World Heavyweight Championship high above his head as Cena layed motionless on the canvas.

-Interesting concept here, looking forward to the Elimination Tables Match. -Edge over Kane sounds nice. This could lead to Kane/Undertaker somewhere down the line. -Kofi over Gabriel because of Hardy sounds pretty realistic. -Serena over Layla was a filler divas match. Decent result there. -Swagger over MVP was expected as MVP hasn't done anything special lately. -Gabriel/Bryan vs. Hardy/Mysterio at TLC is exciting. Looking forward to that. -Cody Rhodes over Chris Masters sounds like a realistic call as Masters is a filler match lately. -CM Punk getting the final spot is interesting. Can't wait to see what they were talking about. -Del Rio over Hardy was expected as well to end the show match wise. -Christian giving Cena the Killswitch on the chair was a good way to the end show. Hope Cena gets revenge, winning the match now. -Good show; itching to see TLC.
